Topic: Why not start discussing topics that will make you active here! (Read 117 times)

Thank you for your contributions in making this local board a better place. After making threads like the way the op has stated, what motivates the op to keep making more educative threads is how the threads gets enough contribution and support from members here, but it seem we have less active members and no active merit source who can actually merit quality posts by users. I've made some couple of threads but the activities keep me unmotivated to make more as it seem my threads are being ignored considering the ratio of views to comment in the threads.

That's the thing right. If we create tutorials in English then they are already present on the global boards and if not then a simple google search will get us detailed tutorials already.
Also, @pakhitheboss  mentioned that we should be creating it in local language but I wonder if people are really interested in tutorials in local language.
I think that anybody using this forum would have enough knowledge to comprehend in English and so they would rather prefer tutorials in English itself.
This language barrier is the single most yet a major reason why we are lagging behind other local boards.
I am kinda thinking that Indian board isn't even needed on bitcointalk for the reason being that we don't have a common language like the other boards.

I have to qoute your entire thread because I think your idea is a great one to help grow and keep a board active.
Nothing good comes easy and growing a local board I’m sure isn’t exempted as well.
This is the first time I’m getting interested in a local board outside mine and your topic actually picked my interest because I could  relate with the challenges you guys are facing and I’m sure growth will be difficult if you guys aren’t working in unity( please don’t get me wrong as I’m not saying you guys aren’t United)

I got to the board because of a post on a members signature directing people to visit the India local board because there isn’t any merit source there and I was shocked because all this while, I’ve known Indians and some other Arabic countries to be active in the cryptocurrency industry and I’m shocked there is no merit source for the board and I think you guys can nominate one person to apply for a merit source and you guys should in your mass back such a person up and I think theymos might get to consider your request.

The point of my post on your board is to show my support for your country and its local board and wish you guys all the best.

I am not sure about the global boards as sometimes I have found good topics. Whereas on the local board, I don't see much engagement related to Bitcoin or even altcoins. There has been so much discussion happening about meme coins or those tap games but the altcoins discussion child board is not about any of those topics.

I do agree a lot of discussion has shifted to Reddit as there are speculations that Reddit will start giving money to Indians like they are doing in the US soon. It is not that a big issue but for the local board to remain active ( which it has been) and unique we need to come up with topics that Reddit doesn't have.

This is not just the problem with our Indian local board, the whole forum is facing this for example let's take a look s this forum getting worse and worse? where almost every reply suggest that we ran out of interesting things about bitcoin well if you insist I can create those kind of tutorials with the images but the problem is they are already created in the main board already by someone so I wonder which one will appear when someone try uses related keyword in google search.

Regarding luring people from somewhere else which I have been doing for the past couple of months with no luck at all, especially from Reddit community where people are aware of bitcointalk, but they don't want to engage here.

I will try to come up with the most relevant tutorials and if they already exists here I can compile their links in one thread so it maybe helpful and which can even be pinned when we got enough of them.

It seems like no one is interested in discussing important topics on this board. For example, is the Bitcoin core still reliable and compatible with the Bitcoin Join Market instructions? Instead, many of you seem to only be interested in current events, rather than developing tutorials related to Bitcoin. I haven't seen anyone attempting it. If someone creates a unique tutorial, I will try to get it pinned and recognized with merits. The last time it happened was when webtricks came up with detailed information about the taxes.

I believe that Indians may not be interested in this forum because there are no tutorials available to help them. I encourage everyone active here to consider creating tutorials about LN, Bitcoin ETFs, and Why Bitcoin? I've suggested some ideas. It would be great if someone could write these tutorials in the local language. If you do not think my conclusion on reviving this board is correct then do reply on my thread. It is important that everyone can post tutorials about anything that is posted on the correct child board or the main board.

Let's start creating topics that will help fellow Indians who are struggling. Let us start promoting our board on those shit telegram channels that have now become a way to either hide tax, or promote shit coins, and all the nonsense. That is how we can get Indians focused on our board as they feel that the forum is now corrupted with the signature campaign.
