Although cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin don see high returns for di past and dem dey often consider say dem get lower risk factor. E dey important make we sabi say e still get serious risks wey e dey carry.

Di absence of regulation and di uncertainty wey dey regulatory matter, di plenty wahala wey dey volatility, security risks, complexity, scams and fraud wey dey revolve around di crypto space as a whole na some reasons why people fit still dey fear to invest for cryptos.

To invest for cryptocurrencies, make person dey careful and understand di risks wey dey involved.

Of a truth, in this modern age and time wey we dy, na only people wey dy misinformed or uninformed go fear to invest in Bitcoin, because Bitcoin have proven over and over again that it can always rally back if their is any setback in price, and besides, it's an asset that appreciate overtime, so any body wey still dy fear no really know whats up.

Lastly, there are some people for we country wey dy take anything wey dy for internet as scam, base on wetin mmm and others don do Dem, those set of people, nothing you wan tell them wey go make them change their way of thinking, so na to just let them be, no just worry Dem, because their mind is made up.

That is a Ponzi scheme which is quit different from crypto. Ponzi scheme is rob Peter to pay Paul and this isn't how crypto works. Although most don't really know how crypto works, they believe all online investment are the same. I'm also part of those people scammed during MMM but that doesn't stop me from trying again. Just that I can join any ponzi stuff again.

Many people have experienced so many things from digital investment that is making them to be afraid of BTC and crypto because, they discovered that without internet you cannot spend your money or withdraw your money to pay for goods or services like the way they use fiat money when they have it in their house or pocket.

Some are afraid to invest in BTC and crypto because if anything happen to their money no office to run to physical to lay their complain like the way some hackers will have access to someone fiat account and the person will run to the bank to find immediately solution for their customers care, not knowing that if they keep their BTC and crypto details very well nobody can have access to their money which is the one of the advantage those that have the knowledge of BTC and crypto are enjoying.

Bitcoin is either lawful or unlawful digital technology In a decentralized and non custodian system that's why it's illegal in some extends of societies which such is aggrieved based on how its rumours speculates in affecting people either to believe that it's productive to invest on or not.
So literally there's always supposed to be circumstances to understand anyone who's in doubt of bitcoin. As usually said that ignorance is not an excuse, but here on bitcoin considering all manners of positive and negative rumours of bitcoin and the crypto currencies as a whole, ignorance towards not accepting or not being educated about bitcoin or the crypto is an excuse because there'd always be alternatives to gain those services that the cryptos possesses. Is it about the potentiality services of alternative means for payments? Or is it about the potentiality of investment?

But one thing you should understand is that Bitcoin is made for everybody but not for everybody, meaning that, in as much as it's accessible to everyone, not everyone would buy the idea, therefore leave those that understand the benefit to take their decisions.

Recently that the government stopped binance from working in the country,  I had someone saying people are into cryptocurrency are people that does fraud,  I think this person have this mindset because he knows nothing about cryptocurrency,  he just sees cryptocurrency something that is not genuine. That is why it is important for people to do research to know things  better and not to think about things in their own way.

To me, In today's world, anyone that sees Bitcoin as a scam Is just misinformed, because if you go out in the street of Nigeria and do a survey, and be asking people of what they know about cryptocurrency, I am very positive that like 80% of people will tell you what it is and the risk involved, especially in this my country Nigeria, and the set of people that are still ignorant about it are mostly the elderly one, because as of now, most of them are actually still old fashion, they still see business that happens online as scam, due to their past experiences, though it's quite understandable If you put into consideration of their past experiences doing business online, so right now, it's mostly the youth that buy into the idea of investing in cryptocurrency, because their generation believes in it unlike the elderly that still sees it as a scam.

I don't think people are afraid of investing in crypto (bitcoin)  and others. Most people just hear about crypto (bitcoin), but lacks knowledge understanding and enlightenment concerning bitcoin. If we don't use the internet in this life we now, the internet will use us. For this reason, That is why I do not condemn those who have dedicated their lives to the internet, it is better for us to be wise; otherwise, we are either making money from the internet or the internet will making money from us.

Missing the opportunity to buy more Bitcoin now that it is still a bit affordable,  compared to what the price will amount to in the next few decades would be painful for anyone to have such experience. Even most educated persons still have zero knowledge about crypto currency, which has been existing for over a decade now.

However, the disbelief people still have for Bitcoin can be eliminated by prove. Taking for example the life of an investor with good reputation. But I wouldn't want to expose myself as an investor to the public for security reasons. They just have to take the risk and be gratefull later.

It is high time people come to terms with the fact we have shifted from the industrial era to information era. The right information will disrupt your life for good!

We cannot really blame anyone that thinks that crypto business is scam because in reality there are lots of scams and hacks in crypto, because if you go to YouTube, telegram, Facebook and other social media sites, you will see them advertising a lot of scam projects and a newbie without experience will invest their money in them, when they're scammed they will label Bitcoin as scam. People need the right source to get information about cryptocurrency be they invest their money if not they will keep being victims of scammers, somebody you don't know on YouTube or telegram will tell you about a project and without researching if you pay them money or give personal details of your wallet and get scammed, then it will be easy to blame it on cryptocurrency. Most Nigerians expecially the older generation has passed down this belief that anything concerning the Internet is a scam and there is no way an individual can benefit from it.

This false theory has basically eaten deep into the soul of most of our younger generation, leading to increased depreciation in skill acquisition and above all increase rate of poverty in the society we leave in today.

Therefore, the only solution to this imbalance is to properly educate this generation about the importance about investment and skill acquisition and how it could be of benefit to the society

It is not proper to force people who have no idea about bitcoin to invest in it. No force anybody sha to invest inside Bitcoin, make dem understand wetin dem dey get demselfs into before investing and make them know the difference between Bitcoin and Ponzi scheme because many people still dey think say Bitcoin na Ponzi scheme and na why dem no wan invest as dem dey fear say Bitcoin go carry their money run and you no go blame them because when dem been dey invest inside all those Ponzi scheme wey crash, people wey introduce them been dey tell them say dem dey invest inside Bitcoin which was false.

Normally Bitcoin investment dey good but make that one no make you think say the Internet nah your best friend, as we all done already hear am before say police nah your best friend and them dey do the otherwise, nah so the internet way me and you self dey.
The Internet just dey like police officers way be say any moment person fit just scam you under 10 seconds and Nigerian polos own be say them fit just arrest you for no reasonable reasons, nai make I say the Internet and the police officers they are like the one.
Although, those that are using the Internet should be more careful because anything can happen at anytime if only they are not careful.
Some people, if they starts making small money from the Internet they will start thinking that the Internet is safe for them, but it is not.

Exactly, people that see bitcoin as a scam don't get knowledge about it they think anything that is online is a scam, because they invest money in a wrong platform. If someone read about bitcoin you will no is a best place to generate income that will change your life, when you can be patient and take risk because anything required risk in business or investment, some can't take the risk, and they will like to confuse some people that are interested in investment, they will say is a scam because this life some people don't like someone should succeed because they are not successful.

I blame some people that they tell them that bitcoin is a scam, because how can someone say this investment is a scam without providing specific evidence, That is why it is important to be educated because people will take advantage of you because you lack experience in anything. Anyone who claims Bitcoin is a scam is the one who is a scam because how can anything that provides you with income be a scam, It is simply using your money to accomplish something else that will cause you to lose all of your savings. So it's preferable to do your research before deciding something is a scam.

You see, that is the more reason why I love Bitcoin investment, with just little knowledge you will be able to make investment securely without missing any security check up. It's true the victim of those scams are to be blamed first for not doing their own study before making investment. But most times the scammers prove to be more legit or persuasive, so most time it's difficult to differentiate a scammer from someone ready to give a helping hand. And I believe one of the major reasons people fall into all these scam is because, the scammer comes in the name of a free tutor. FREE THINGS ARE RISKY  

I feel say the cause of the fear na due to experience ona know say experience na the best teacher na Wetin our people dey talk most Nigerians dey fear anything way concern online investment something way dem no dey see who dem dey transact with because dem go tell you say if anything happen who dem go hold MMM na the first online investment platform way Nigerians trust and see Wetin e do us many people lost their jobs some even loss their family because dem use all their money invest for mmm I know of someone who tried committing suicide but na God save am through us.
E go take time and more knowledge for many Nigerians to begin trust and invest online again talking from experience even me sef loss money but see me today educating my family and friends about crypto currency’s and how to invest in them I no go lie I been no believe at first but after I understood how to navigate the crypto world na that time my eye clear my motto to my people now na buy and hold for tomorrow.

Then in that lie and scam comes the truth, they only twisted the mind of the victim into collecting him/her investment but all the preaching about Bitcoin given good profits is unarguably correct.
All they have to do is consider it as their fault as not yet being knowledgeable on Bitcoin on how to protect themselves
from  scammers, if they should seek knowledge about Bitcoin then they can do well investing.

That's true, I believe the acceptance of Bitcoin in our country will also pave way for others to see that it legit, and people will strat adopting it. Though it might not be as easy as we have thought it to be, but since this decision is coming from the government they might now see it as a worthy means of investment. Though we still some yahoo boys still using Bitcoin investment to scam people saying they'll teach you how to grow your investment in just a day, many person have fallen for this scam, and those kind of persons would be difficult to convince that Bitcoin in truly worthy for investment.

I believe as time goes on more people will find it more convenient and accessible to Bitcoin. Bitcoin acceptance may not be fast as we assume to be but I believe it's already laying the foundation of trust among many people around the world. We can tell, the number of people now into Bitcoin can not be compared to that of 5yrs ago, we have seen many more people, countries and companies now accepting the use of Bitcoin, It takes time and a long process.

I no know why people for this modern age still dey think say anything wey dey the internet na scam. Sha I no blame them, the experience wey many of them don get for the hand of scammers e nor easy. so them get every right to believe wattin them like, but we wey know the truth make we try convince them with the truth. But if them no gree take make we no border ourselves, one day them go understand and na that time them go come know wattin them don miss.

Just watch that your uncle after some time, him go still come meet you for wetin him dey call scam today. Na so those on the age side dey think of internet because when dem grow up, things wey dey internet no dey give money but na den of scammers and so many of them still dey think like that. Those mindset of people still dey believe in keeping deir money for bank, dem believe say bank no go scam dem but dem for get say if dat money come out from bank, the value of purchase don reduce.

To carry your money put for your personal wallet wey you get your passphrase to yourself dey better because as you hodl am for bitcoin dere na advantage with bull run. To those who have not seen how Bitcoin or crypto currency investment can be beneficial to them, it would be hard they put their money in it because they don't know how it works or the value it brings to the table.

Also, for a country that is yet to accept BTC or cryptocurrency as legal tender or even try to regulate it, citizens might be of the fear that if caught by the government somehow that they have BTC, they might be criminalized and meant to face serious penalties.

Lastly, I think people just fear what they don't know about mostly and an investment in BTC or cryptocurrency is just one of those things that could get anyone with shabby knowledge, confused.

People have to exercise fear probably because they have been scammed before or they don't want to risk any chances of being scammed at all, once they hear anything that has to do with digital network, scam is the next thing that rang on their minds, I won't blame them because they don't want to loose the little they ha e while trying to earn more from it, but that's not an excuse to make for not being successful in life when we are not liable for taking risk.

Na person wey no no about bitcoin go say na scam. I no go blame them sha. na scammers wey don spoil the he name of Bitcoin investment as scam do to there activities Naim make people so much believe say anything online na fraud. But Never the less if you tell anybody anything concerning bitcoin investment and then no talk any better thing just leave them and focus on your crypto journey. I believe them go give you a listening ears when them see say you don dey cash out. Because people believe on results before them go wan participate.

The major reason is ignorance. Also there are few other reasons why some people have been afraid of any online investment, reason could be maybe they have been involved an online investment that got them scammed in the past and could be why they find it hard to trust any online investment. We have seen some ponzi companies that like (MMM) that came to Nigeria, made the whole country believe it was real and paying before scamming everyone and running away with their money. People need to understand that before investing with any company you need to carry out research properly about the company but due to ignorance and the fear of missing out people just invest with companies they know nothing about which usually results into them getting scammed.

With everything that has happened most Nigerians don’t have any believe in any online investments anymore and so they classify them as scam investments without knowing that bitcoin investment is different.

Without understanding the concept of bitcoin it is easier to conclude that it is a scam investment because of it’s volatility, some would wonder why would you just invest an amount and expect your money to grow after sometime without really performing any task that’s why ignorant people find it easier to label bitcoin as scam. Bitcoin is the future and alot of people who don’t believe in it will have regrets later and will be disappointed in themselves for not believing in it earlier.

And the main reason way go make any person be it old or young fear to do anything online business digital investment like bitcoin nah because of the lack of knowledge way them the suffer from about the industry. First before anyone will invest in bitcoin they need to know the knowledge of bitcoin and understand what bitcoin is all about, we can't tell someone to come invest into what he doesn't know how it works or how the profit are being generated. What our needs is basic education on how it works, something that would serve as proof and example of how people have benefited from it, in 9ja we always have this mindset that anyone who is regularly spending time online is fraudster without them knowing there is some genuine works and business where you can work remotely from home or any place you have your internet connection.

Exactly they are still swimming in the ocean of ignorant and they have to come out to the reality to face the real life. In this present days, the best way to life or have a comfortable life is not even government work but investing in Bitcoin though before you will make it in life it will take some years but when you have finally making it, you will be smiling. Many people in the society thinking that Bitcoin is for scammers and anyone who is into Bitcoin is a scammer.

I think that believe will be gone very soon since government has approved the use of Bitcoin in the country. Now we are waiting for the last approval of it which is the legal tender in the country.

Omo currently you will hardly see people way dey fear to invest in bitcoin oh, Omo things no be like before oh, way people no know what's up about bitcoin,  ask the nearest youth closer to you about his idea on investing in cryptocurrency, you will know how vast and knowledgeable they are about cryptocurrency investment. That your uncle needs some education about cryptocurrency and I employ you to enlighten him, so he won't continue to go on with the nation that cryptocurrency is a scam.

I don’t really see it a big deal for people to be scared of investing into something online. Many of us today that are now crypto enthusiasts must have one time had the same feeling as them but what differentiates us from them today is the right information we have and the exploration of more findings about it that made us fully convinced that investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency is the best thing to do in this technological age that we are now. We have seen how bitcoin have prosper to where it is now since the creation of it and we have seen how many people it has already pave way for a better living for also. This currency can only make life easier for those that know how to trade with it. Bitcoin na something to embrace, no be something to ponder too much about.

Most people who are still seeing bitcoin investment as a scam do not know anything about bitcoin. They may have heard people say they lost money on crypto trading, or some greedy people who lost their money to scammers can be saying that it is a scam. Also,  some people who have fallen victim to several Ponzi schemes due to greed will also say that it is a scam, but normal people who seek knowledge and understanding can never say that it is a scam.

If everybody understands the financial freedom Bitcoin has brought to us, they will stop saving their money in the banks because banks can never give you a profit, they cannot add value to your money, and they will even be charging you for saving your money into their accounts while they are using your money for external investment.

Many people just get this belief say since nah wetin concern internet them no fit do anything called investment, unknowing to them that is the best place to invest on.
Even my uncle's saw it as a scamming thing, but they never knew it's the best place you can save any amount of your income in life.
