Did PD block people because they are not regulated in those countries or did they protect themselves from countries where money laundering via gambling sites are frequently done? I know the US are full of KYC/AML regulations to prevent these problems and if PD allow these citizens to use their services, they might be criminally prosecuted.

Can the US extradite people, if they operate these businesses from other countries and allow their US citizens to gamble there? Or can they only do that, if the operators are US citizens?

I wouldn't suggest using VPN or any other anonymous methods to play, they can put a risk to your funds as your account can get compromised due to MITM attack, furthermore, if somehow PD finds out they can ban your account and compensate funds. Simple solution is, play elsewhere. Btw, this was the original announcement: Important announcement from Primedice

The thing is, OP doesn't just want to play, he wants to join giveaways.

OP, everyone's been telling you to use a VPN, but no one has brought up any suggestions yet. I'd recommend Tunnelbear, but you can read about other alternatives here.

Like bitbaby said, do note that you risk having your funds taken away, so any complaint you make after will be invalid. I don't think you should encounter too many problems though.

Nice try dude to welcome prime dice costumers in your site.
I'd call it spam advertising, not a nice try, but well.

I think lots of casino and dice site will take advantage of this situation as primedice is the number one dice game for bitcoin.
It's been like that for a long time now, and primedice still seems to be the #1, so how exactly did the others "take advantage of this situation"?

Developers of prime dice should do something about this solution.
Since when can Developers do something about laws?

Although I didn't faced this issue. for me primedice is fine.
Congratulations, you're not from the US (or other limited areas).

Primedice blocked US users and that's better for their business , no one want to have troubles with the US in such things
just use a VPN and everything should be fine , but as I said this is way better for Primedice

Nevada just issued an arrest warrant for the operator of Seals With Clubs, a bitcoin poker website. He is supposedly hiding out in Antigua. The US Justice Dept. arrested online gambling execs in 2011.

Russia and China, I would think avoiding them would be prudent if I was offering gambling without a license to their citizens.

You could blame your government for their restrictive laws, or you just do what encrypted suggested and get a VPN running.

AFAIK there's only faucet in the free version, and deposits/withdrawals are deactivated.
Might even be more restricted and only chat, not sure about that.

It is just deposit that doesn't work.
From what I gather, withdraw should work fine! And you can use the faucet by you only get 200 satoshi for that each time you use it.

Technically if you get something off a company free and double it by sticking with them then it is not gambling, even though by nature it is.

Gambling laws, mkay.

So I can never enroll in a primedice giveaway again based on my postcode?
So others can get free Bitcoin and I lose out!
Oh well, I'll continue using gambit then.

you can use VPN or proxies.

I'm curious though. what's with the free version?

I got this when trying to deposit

I was going to deposit for a giveaway but, as you can see, it doesn't work!
Why is it limited to certain jurisdictions?
