QRK is superior to almost all of the alts. Let's be sensible. Only noobs with no QRK moan about QRK.

1. They moan about qrks block scaling and rewards. The so called instamine.... Yet you see these same losers promoting their latest shitclones  PARTICLE etc that have WORSE instamining and have totally copied QRK down to even the name.

Even now every day on the board more coins released with instamining worse that QRKS.

This is their ONLY complaint about QRK. Another thing these noobs tards do not realise is that the value of a currency has NOTHING to do with it's block scaling or even anything to do with mining at all. Imagine that QRK was 100% instamined in one day if you want. This does not matter. The distribution of QRK was not primarily through mining. It was done via the market. I notice many original QRK miners hating on QRK during the boom. WHY?? because like myself they sold most of their qrks for about the cost of the electricity to mine it when for months it was around 27-200. I sold over half of mine at around 200  WTF it then goes to 30,000 in a matter of days. That is terrible right.  Well that's what a huge market pump looks like. During that pump millions upon millions of QRK were redistributed.

Look at the latest coin PREMINE it was 100% premined WTF??? but wait this is distributed by just giving it away. It will probably turn out to be the fairest distribution yet. I only have under 120 coins that were kindly given to me by people late in that thread. However i hope this succeeds.  QRK is not as fair as that, however QRK is way fairer than most coins released today. In fact i was mining quarks solo weeks after it was released on my normal i5 cpus. That's right solo a few blocks per day weeks after launch. Try that with any of these new QRK clones, or any new cpu coins. There are more miners now and worst still there are those with access to large clusters that will rape all of the easy blocks....and UNLIKE with quark instead of dumping them all out for nothing on the market they will charge a fortune for them or hold them.  They saw what happened with qrk and indeed are the same people that had access to that kind of mining power back then but dumped loads because they thought it was dead. They will not make the same mistake again.

Qrk will arise and grow steadily along with and ahead of a lot of coins in the future.  Like anything it gets more hate because noobs came in just after the moonshot and saw they missed it.

Are there better coins = yes for me i like pos coins like dmd and cgb.  Are there bigger communities ...btc , doge, ltc  but not that many bigger than qrk.

Those yelling scam instamine etc know nothing.... watch them talk up coins that are far far worse in terms of block reward scaling.

The best and fairest yet is Microcoin............why the fuck is everyone not mining this??? it's so fair?Huh people don't give a shit about fair, they only cry about unfair when they miss out.

Give these cry babies  50k-100k QRK .... you will see a new QRK supporter Smiley

Yes the price should have gone higher as a result of btc38. Although it did go from 7k to 15k that is quite a bump. The same happened when xpm got on btce.... a bump and then down.  Is it because xpm is scam. No look it has gone from 38  to 30000 and now about 10000. It has reasonable low minting and big community. Yes it will grow steadily over time from here. There is no more dumping coming for this coin it has taken place. Only dumping will happen is when it is much higher price. For med to long time investment qrk = good to very good.  Sure there are ones i view as excellent but i haven't accumulated enough yet though Smiley

Does anyone know which will go up and down for sure = NO

I mined 80k QRK in 2.5 weeks with an overclocked 3930k @ 4.6GHz. I sold two weeks early after watching it flatline for about five months before the spike in December.  Shocked

So you and me premined/instamined less than 200k Quarkcoins. Shame of us! Smiley

1. Quark is a clone
2. heavy front loaded mining, most coins mined in the first 3 months
3. pumped by max keiser and bill stills

its over for quark. that hype train sailed a long time ago.

1. Quark is a clone like every other QT coin after Bitcoin. I don't see how that it is making it drop in value at all.
2. And? Go do some maths and draw your own conclusions. Nearly every coin so far is hard-coded to exponentially increase in difficulty and become harder to mine, if you're not in the right place at the right time to begin with, well then, that's too bad.
3. As far as I am aware, pumping is something entirely different to promotion.

bill still is a retard for supporting quark

Unless you've got a wealth of knowledge and few decades under your belt in economics, I suggest you retract that statement. Oh, and fix your English.

Yeah. I used to have a lot of respect for Bill.

Also, Quark was front loaded. But it was nothing compared to Particle with half of all coins mined in a matter of hours. Why the hell would anyone get involved with that abomination now?

It's unfortunate that not all of us can win the lottery. Try and make the most of what you can when you can. Particle is being actively developed and the community is engaged. It's far from an abomination.

Intsa-mined crap that's why

Looks like yet another person that needs to go do some research. If your reading this and think this statement is true, you're very much mistaken.

Quark right now is stabilizing again and will likely slowly drop for another month or so as the value of Bitcoin decreases during this first quarter.

Patience is a virtue. If you've invested in any crypto, wait it out, reap the rewards.

Quark is popular here.
Hopefully it will pump while more applications are available.

Yeah I think Quark is okay now. It was front loaded for a while and hit 30 cents. The hope is the early investors with all those now expensive coins would spend them on infrastructure, but instead they distributed them until Quark hit its price of today's 8 cents. I think this might be a stable point with the projects they're trying to get done, but I'm still not sure if its a perfect investment

I think all cryptos are in a decline right now and I wouldn't be too concerned about Quarks price. QRK was definitely overpriced for a long period of time - considering how little development it had to earn a 40 million $ market cap. I think at 17 million, its closer to its true price until they come up with marketing or more projects.

They have a somewhat large base though, and IMO the best technical features. But technical features may not matter in determining the future crypto.

No, its all about manipulation, pump and dump.

Quark is little baby for the difference of the monster Doge pump. lol

Quark has 4x lower price then at the top.

doge wouldn't be where it is today without the huge community support it has behind it.

Right. But you have to read the Twitter of the biggest pumper https://twitter.com/Fontase_bter for the better understandings of manipulations. That guy got your Bitcoins, and Doge community has his Dogecoins.  Grin  His followers are somewhere between. Doge is not 2 month old coin yet.

Quark got a bad reputation as being a de facto premine coin.  It was so front loaded nobody adopted it.  No dice sites no nothing but some pumpers.  It has mostly done nothing but go down since it got added to Vircurex.
