The admins don't want people pretending they are satoshi.

maybe they don't want people registering with names like: BitcoinManager, or SatoshiManager, BitcoinCreator, or something that could be deceiving to brand new newbies and use that to try and scam

Understood. Got it.

Maybe we are taking our admiration too far. Or maybe they don't want people registering with names like: BitcoinManager, or SatoshiManager, BitcoinCreator, or something that could be deceiving to brand new newbies and use that to try and scam them because the newbie believes that the person is a reputable person associated with Bitcoins/Satoshi because of their username. I'm guessing Bitcoins are banned as a username too...

Hi folks,

I registered today and I tried to use the nickname 'satoshiXXX', and it was rejected because the nickname contained the word 'satoshi'.

Aren't we taking Satoshi Nakamoto admiration too far?
