You can explain the wealth and success of much countries by their favorable environment in fact.
That's mainly a reason of "who gets the best resource and most favorable climate" ^^

Before each of the country had their standard getting they are old none like other country. They use their brain to develop their homeland and that's what make them reach. Now if you ask me what's causing other country to get rich, the reason is government oppression, uneducated people and religion.

Luck is a vague term. I believe in probability, there's a chance of things going right and wrong, and sometimes when it's improbable of things going right but they do anyway, that's good luck and vice-a-versa.
But mathematically, no matter how improbable something is, it still has to happen in a certain set of events.

You cannot say that some country is more lucky than other,i would say it is a faith that the country is better,and nationalism,which says not "go to hell with other countries,our is the best"
but "We can make our country greater,far greater than it is great now!"

yes it is true. we can see that some countries are lucky because they have abundant of natural resources fantastic weather and seasoning order, while other side some countries have no natural resource and worst climatic condition. always facing natural disasters issues.

in fact luck is one of the most prominent element involve in our activities. but no one know that why some countries are consider to be luck and some are consider as to be unlucky. i think ALLAH know the reason very much.

Some people might consider themselves lucky, for having a lunatic like Justin Trudeau as their head of the state. In North Korea, there are individuals who consider themselves "lucky", to be ruled by Kim Jong Un.

Lucky is like what Saudi Arabia had. They are lucky to have huge barrels of oil to gather if that oil doesn't exist on their land, there's a chance that they might be living in a third world country. Having an oil in your land is like playing The Sims with a cheat code.

I suppose it doesn't actually depend on a country and everything (in most of cases). It's just that some people are happy in the poorest conditions and some are facing depressions in best ones

Can anyone define 'lucky', how can a country be lucky if her prime minister is good looking and has pretty knowledge about a complex topic like quantum computing. If we look at the resources than the most luckiest country should be Brazil, Nepal, India, and other south asian countries. However Switzerland is not blessed with any of the resources that such countries have; but is one economically strongest country and how the hell does luck is defined here for prosperity.

Similarly Japan, a country that had devastating nuclear bombing effects and is prone to many other disasters but is still standing high with strong economy all over the world. Can we say luck helped Japan and Switzerland.

yes it is a fact  that luck is a major factor affecting our life. but i believe that luck can be change. with prayer and continue struggle you can change your luck. some countries are lucky and some are less lucky. it is some thing difficult to explain. i thing the lucky countries are because of their natural resources, but still there are so many countries who have a lot of natural resources but still they are not getting benefit from these resources, they have no such technologies to utilize these resource. therefore i will like to say that we can change our luck buy praying and continuous struggle.

Yes, that's true. There are many countries which are very rich in natural resources but still most of the people there are extremely poor. The government in those countries consists of ones not caring about their people's needs at all. They just take all the money from the budget and hide them somewhere, that's what they do.

You mean lucky because they are rich country?  We can add to that effect that their country is rich in natural resources, their people are all educated, I mean they all have work.  Their leader is not corrupt, because some Asian countries are rich in natural resources but still poor.  Corruption is the reason why some countries are less lucky than the other countries.  Some leaders are too greedy with power and money.

Funny thing is that it's not only stupid and having absolutely no sense. But if you want to go this way, Canada average IQ is 99 vwhich makes them the 8th highest IQ country in the world.

Yes, there are huge differences between countries, but the US and Canada are very similar in my eyes. There's much more difference between the US and Mexico. It just happens that the leader of Canada is a young guy, but it hasn't always been like that.

Well Justin Trudeau was a Math teacher. The press focus on how he spent his time doing ski instruction in his vacations as a student, and on the fact that he did a bit of drama teaching on the side - but his degree was in engineering, so yes, an aptitude for math and science.

Low IQ people elect their representatives based on their looks, and Canadians are no exception to this. By the time they realize their mistake in electing an ISIS sympathizer as the Prime Minister, it will be too late. There are retards in the United States as well, but they constitute for only a small part of the population, unlike the case with Canada. The United States Senate election in Tennessee (2006) proves my point.

The residential schools happened and its a black mark that is going to take time to fix, talking generations. Native population is the fastest growing so I suspect they will start seeing more political pandering to them through benefits and land.
The other issue is reservations and there are signs people are getting fed up with the chiefs exploiting their people and they have a platform to attack the issue.
Lot of educated people also making things better for their people by leading by example and teaching those that are coming after them. So I do see a lot more positive even when the negative is being highlighted.
As for the potential being theirs or ours, I do not think it is a matter any more. No one is looking to go back to the old days but economic progess seems to be the next best thing. Allows more freedoms to choose which way the people want to go forward.

Oil tankers are a hot issue because they need to happen. The people on the West coast are mostly hijacked by a environmental movement. Reality is the oil needs to get out some how and its not going through the gulf. We are heavily inlfluenced by the price of our natural resources. Expect things to be pushed through as quiet as possible.

you are completely right.. united states are full of lunatic people.. but canada is a peaceful country and people who lives in canada are more hospirable and kind than people in united states for sure

What is your definition of luck and happiness?
If you like nature and life without stress and pressure, you will probably like life in Africa much more than in America or Europe.
If you prefer security, you will rather live in Scandinavia or Switzerland than America or France, uK etc.
If you wants to start some business than America is your choice
I guess each of us have own definition of happiness and luck.
Of course, I'm talking about politically stable countries, without wars, corruptions, with good educational and social system.
Why some countries can't provide such basic foundations for their citizens?
It's not easy to answer, because each country is unique.
Usually, political corruptions and civil wars are the main reasons why some countries don't provide to their people security and stability needed for good life. 

Their potential or yours? Who has moved forward again? I thought the whole concept of forced re education through the Canadian school program was about just that: bringing everyone to their potential. Anyway, it does not matter anymore, they lost you won. They're all gonna be gone in a few generations, as programmed, before they ask for any form of reparation, or payment from all the natural resources mined on their ancestral lands...

Did Trudeau said he would keep oil tankers from coming or thinking out loud about imposing a new tax on them? I have to look into this. If he did then he wasn't groomed enough.

Anywhere that was colonized has history of neglecting the indigenous people,so its no shocker we have a bad history with the natives.
You can point to how we dealt with the Chinese and East Indians as well but we have moved forward and are working towards bringing everyone to their potential.


Trudeau also is getting a lot of love but he has surrounded himself with some pretty smart people and he has been groomed for this position for quite a long time.
He grew up with a father that held the same position and was able to see how to act in public for full effect. He also has quite the tech geek knowledge because one of his close friends is really involved in the tech scene,so its sure to rub off. Its still the honeymoon stage with him and he is bleeding money left and right but has not really come through much so far with his promises. So jury is still out and oil is killing us right now.

So they planted a question with a reporter to make him look like a genius, He may just read an article about it.

Canada is guilty of committing cultural genocide against Indigenous people, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission said in a summary of its final report released Tuesday.

The TRC builds a case that leads it to conclude Canada committed cultural genocide against Indigenous peoples and used Indian residential schools used as its main weapon.

“These measures were part of a coherent policy to eliminate Aboriginal people as a distinct peoples and to assimilate them into the Canadian mainstream against their will,” said the TRC report. “Residential schooling quickly become a central element in the federal government’s Aboriginal policy.”

The TRC unveiled two volumes and a summary of its final report which is expected to be released later this year. One volume was titled, What We Have Learned, and the other was titled, The Survivors Speak.

The TRC was created as part of the multi-billion dollar settlement agreement between Ottawa, the churches and survivors. About 150,000 Indigenous children went through Indian residential schools throughout the systems over century-long existence.

The TRC’s report said cultural genocide is defined as the “destruction of those structures and practices that allow the group to continue as a group.”

States that engage in cultural genocide aim to destroy political and social institutions by seizing land, persecuting spiritual leaders, banning languages, outlawing cultural practices, restricting movement and disrupting families so cultural values can’t be passed on to successive generations, said the report.

“In its dealing with Aboriginal people, Canada did all these things,” said the report.

The TRC report said Canada’s negotiation of treaties with First Nations were “marked by fraud and coercion.” The report said the federal government continues to stall on the implementation of treaties to this day.
