Well, to me is not a misuse because every currency is meant to be spent on either products or services. How one spent his or her bitcoin or money should not be your problem perhaps, Bitcoin is meant to be spend on either products or services.
I think we can not do anything about it as black world always have back doors from where illegal use of any type of currency, valuable stuff or anything with priceless tag is misused and not taken care of.
Just look at the fiat currency such bad use is done with it but no one is able to do anything. Thats the way it is. Indeed it hurts about bitcoin being used in that way.
That is the fact that if a criminal will willing for any bad activity then he will do it with any currency he will have and for that we cannot blame bitcoin. If they will find cash then they will also use cash. They can do the transaction anonymously when they will pay hand by hand. So bitcoin is not blamed but we need to improve our society. Mostly used to be for micro transactions and to promote anonymity.I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ?
Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
I have talked to someone that says it is the easier method into making more fiat. Bitcoin seems to help him a lot because I can see in his lifestyle now that is changing.
He says you dont really need to do anything. Just trust bitcoin and risk the money that you can afford. Don't need to quit the job just invest and let it be for a while. Withdraw a few if needed and try to deposit again if there is a spare.

I will also choose the second bitcoin fiat because it is still tax free, I like bitcoin because of the high price and the fall in price that makes us have to know how to get high bitcoin price. So, there is a bitcoin there is fiat for me.

Like other ways to pay for my bills, I prefer a way that I don't need to go anywhere. I can just stay there and use my phone, scan a QR code and DONE!, my bills are paid, I don't need to go anywhere, it's covenient and comfortable.
I think with fiat money, without a business, or putting it in the bank it will always remain in stagnant value but when you use bitcoin there is the pump up in price and compared to fiat transactions are faster.

Some people prefer bitcoin over fiat because on some places bitcoin is tax free. I guess it's not bad to use bitcoin for something as long as you're not breaking any law/rules from your place. There's much more misuses of btc but if we continue this discussion it's getting kinda off topic when the title is about bitcoin and fiat.

Bitcoin is decentralized so it means that they'll be the one to manage their wealth, and also its anonymity. Sometimes it is considered as faster in Fiat in terms of transactions with less charges. People are free tobuse their BTC as thry like since it is decentralized. And as long as the way they use it doesnt abide the rules of BTC , it is okay.

Although Fiat still has its relevance when it comes to payment and stuffs. Also it is till very convenient to use since the way of its transaction is very easy to understand hence we've been using fiat for some time now. But the thing is the use of a specific kind of fiat depends on the country itself only and cannot be used outside of its premises. Whilst Bitcoin has its freedom of use wherever you go, except for those countries that have temporarily banned them. You might ask why temporarily? Because in time Bitcoin will be as relevant as Fiat someday soon and be utilized just like Fiat but online and since internet is way more easier now than of the past we can now access it with ease.

I've been using Bitcoin to expand my online (legit) career and business. It allows me to purchase domain name (from Namecheap) and hosting package (from many different companies) without the need of having a credit or debit card. I also use my Bitcoin to recharge my mobile phone credits whenever I need to make an important call but have no brick-and-motor phone shop near me. Bitcoin has and will continue to change my life in good ways.

I think because this is a different era, where for anyone transactions in hand so that more recommends a better way of payment than cash, of course bitcoin is the solution of all that.
Sometimes ignorance is a good thing, transaction in banks with possible withdrawal and ATM card is a hot victims of criminals, but with a bitcoin transaction with less of all that makes the criminal ignore that person for he doesn't have any clue. In summary, fiat is a more valuable for small time criminals than the one using bitcoin. But that is not applicable to all criminal especially the money launderers.
I think it is because of their transactions.Some people prefer using cryptocurrencies over fiat because of some perks that they get.It really depends on a person.But for me,I will still choose the fiat for my payments as the btc is still not usable to some.

It's like, I want to send money to another country, with BTC I just need the other person address, with Fiats there are Banks who charges for this services (with expesives fees). With BTC you are your own Bank, there are more freedom to the people.
Yes you're right.Since bitcoin is decentralized,we can transact it anytime and anywhere,no need to conform to any banks.And eventually bitcoin itself has a much more value compared to our own fiat currency.But fiat on the other hand,if you want to do transactions just like sending money,you need to conform to the banks rules and even pays high charging fees.With this,some people prefer to use bitcoin than fiat because aside from hussle free,we have more freedom to earn bitcoin especially in the cryptocurrency world.

Bitcoin has more advantage than fiat money online. It has a special characteristics that made user got attracted and interested. I am using them both daily, it just that BTC is very unique, we can earn it in faucets and other services.
Well, bitcoin has a special characteristic than fiat. In additi to that, now a day bitcoin become very useful than fiat because you may use it in different kind of transaction in online. I think the main reason why they choose the bitcoin is because of its price that always increase.There are many ways to use bitcoin more convenient than a fiat. Since bitcoin is becoming popular, many transactions online prefer bitcoin as payment. Also bitcoin price is fluctuating, so have an investment and wait when the price is high.You can earn bitcoin in many ways that the value is higher than earning fiat.
Not only using in different transaction, investment, but also in trading, it is good to buy coins while the price is low then sell it at high price, to get more profit. To have a lot of money to save for the future.
The only thing I can think of why people prefer Bitcoin than fiat was, maybe in their country they are already accepting Bitcoin as payment. I mean, you don't have to exchange Bitcoin to fiat anymore because there are already ways to have transaction to either an item or a service. Because they are directly having paid in Bitcoin not in fiat.
While that may be true on countries like Japan it cannot be true for most countries since bitcoin adoption has not reached that level, I think the main reason is the chance of making money with bitcoin by just holding and waiting for the price of bitcoin to go up.

Exactly what I am trying to say people that bitcoin is not you think it is. People just assume bull crap when they hear stuff and without any proof they make a statement like bitcoin is illegal, it's full of spam and blah and blah and blah..But yea are you telling that people pay using Bitcoin for watching Porn? What are people in this world up to? Gambling is used widely but I cannot believe the fact that people buy dugs and watch porn using Bitcoin. The world is already full of unhealthy people physically and mentally. You or I single handedly cannot help it.
