litecoin is $8.00 usd on btc-e , what you looking at is the btc to ltc ratio

No I am not.

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/#jump-ltc-usd
shows that BTC-e  LTC/USD is 9.37 USD, LTC/USD Crypto-Trade is $9.79. What I was asking, clearly stated in Subject and my post, is why the Disparity in But/Sell prices at different exchanges? BTC-e and Crypto-trade are more than DOUBLE what the sale price is on vicorex. Is something wrong with vicorex?

Again my question is, why is crypto-trade and btc-e double the cost of others? What sets their price? What set's Mt Gox's price, always abut 10% more than anyone else?

Please answer as you can :-)

Thanks for the help.

I am a total newbee. Because I missed the early BTC rush, I want to start investing in LTC, and feel purchasing from Coinbase => cryto-trade has merit. I am however confused by the arbitrage-like nature of things -- or am I incorrect: On http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/#jump-ltc-btc, LTC is now $9.29 on crypto-trade. However on Vicurex it is $3.99! Does this mean that I can buy LTC from Coinbase => Vicurex at $3.99 ?? Why would I pay $9.29 when I can buy at $3.99. Can anyone explain the disparity in buy price?

I gotta be missing something here. Can some of you wealthier experienced ones fill me in?

Thanks Much, guys.
