I get the cloudflare thing always too whenever I click (mistakenly, though) the "All" tab. If I open it page by page, it doesn't happen often.

To be sincere, I don't think cloudflare is affecting this forum only. For the past few days now I've been observing it happening on Coingecko site every time I try logging in. It irritates the heck out of me. Notably, that doesn't happen with the app version of the site. The CG app functions very well without the annoying cloudflare blocking it. Perhaps this should be a wake up call for this forum to get an app version of this forum, instead of what we've now.

When I saw it on my screen, I was afraid since I did not know the cause, meaning and use. I wanted to contact a senior member for verification but since I was unable to reach the forum I decided to give a trial and watch the outcome. I was actually afraid to lose my hard earned account. It's not easy to rank a junior member. My elders in the forum will understand.

I've seen something new today because I've logged in to altcoinstalks & bitcointalk together guess which site's being blocked by cloudflare.

Pretty sure that's just your ISP having some full-on discrepancies with the forum provider or Cloudflare itself. But sometimes it could just be the fact that it takes time for some pages in this forum to load, especially those topics with large reply counts as is the case for me. I never get the Cloudflare Human Verification shit (and when I do I go past that cause my device automatically tags me as human even before I open the captcha for some reason) and it only happens when I open threads with large reply counts.

While I don't really have a full-on solution for you, you might wanna check your cache and cookies and clear them every now and again, also make sure that you don't search up weird stuff on the internet as it's gonna make it even harder for you to really get approved for some of these captions (trust me on this one) and yeah, deal with it for the meantime until the devs of this forum figures out a way out of it.

The way of approaching to this should not be in the pessimistic way,because the check and balance was important one in every aspect.So the forum included the optimistic way to the forum members to use their website.And as you said it may be generated to avoid of the use of bot to generate more forum accounts.My personal advice you should accept the way of login,because it may help you in one or other way for sure.

I don’t know whether you have face this one,when you try to see the all the reply of one thread.The forum will ask to verify the you are human,this was new phenomenon added to avoid of using the AI usage for the post in the forum.We are in the new updated technology,So the forum also updating in a way to face the problem generated by the bots and software.It was welcome one with my knowledge and don’t worry for the loss of few minutes.The mean will justify the results of the current software influences to the website.

We don't know if administrators set it up because of bots or suspicious attacks. It's possible cloudflare did it if they're upgrading their services.

I encounter this problem once when closing the browser because cookies are deleted after that, but it does not seem that I am the only one who has encountered these problems. Cloudflare Human Verification began to appear about a week ago, since it only happens once, it is not a big issue.

I don't think there's anything theymos can do:
I assume Cloudflare does this to mitigate a DDOS. That leaves 2 options: no forum access at all, or an annoying Cloudflare page before accessing the site.

Who knows - we all don't know exactly what's going on until admin tells us what's causing it. So far I've experienced that too - but it's not a big deal for me and doesn't bother me, I mean only a few seconds before I'm redirected to the forum.

This problem happens to the average user - so it's certainly not an internet or browser settings issue. If this issue is considered annoying by most users - then admins need to solve it immediately.

Thinking in your direction I could agree that it's part of a technical way by the forum technical team  to destabilize any form of suspicious brute force. Since it's not a tedious procedure and doesn't take time to pass through after one or two clicks I don't just bother myself about it for the past days I have been experiencing it and am sure a lot of persons that understands this would also know that it's invariably for their own account security too against any form of brute force somewhere.

This is beyond internet issue as it's happening to majority of the users here. So are you saying that most of us experiencing this problem are using the same network? I was also stuck with this case of human verification while trying to access the forum and in my own case, even after I've verified and the rest and say I want to reply to a post, I get hit with the same stuff and it's mildly irritating to be honest.
 Dunno why these things keep occuring. If it's not gateway timeout issue, it will be something else. Is there a way to solve this problem or are we experiencing this anomaly because the forum is undergoing some form of fixing?

I also noticed it Suddenly some days ago which i have never expirenced it before. I only noticed that sometimes the site will shutdown due to maintenance which wouldn't allow you logging but this time around it is not like before again. This one is becoming more frequent each time you leave your phone for some hours, it will prompt you do the CloudFlare human verification. I believe it might be the handwork of @thymos, just to reduce robot that keeps on spamming the board. If not for that reason I don't see any any other reason for such. And I recent time the board has been flooded with shitposting. So this might be the only way to eradicate it.

I also faced that issue which you mentioned in the OP but today I haven't faced it yet. I believe it's not only you because after reading the posts of other members I have noticed that most of them faced the same issue yesterday.

It's either a direct issue from CloudFlare or its something from forum's side but I believe the former one is the case. I haven't seen that CloudFlare warning for so many weeks but yesterday I also noticed it very often and it was very annoying.

What dkbit98 said it true, we don't yet have a better alternative to CloudFlare and thus we will have to adjust with it no matter if its good or not. This forum is still quite good when it comes to CloudFlare warning because on other sites I see that warning very often.

I experienced this about 5 times yesterday alone despite not experiencing it for almost a whole year. When others complained of it some months ago, I barely experienced it and I chipped in my advice then on the use of secure browsers and VPN. But this time, it happened repeatedly to me and I was concerned really because I only use my local IP and not Tor or VPN and others.

Now, reading what people had to say on this thread, I think that it's general and it could be for an important reason. We all know the controversy that happened on the forum recently, maybe enhanced verification was done, or at least such that would rescan the users' activities periodically to ascertain whether or not it's a human behind the screen.

It's nothing to worry yourself about. But if it persists too much, it could be that you use enhanced security to browse and you might want to change it or continue to manage it that way.

Cloudflare sometimes goes into "DDOS protection mode", and it happened to me too yesterday. It's the same thing that normally happens when I click "All" (pages). But my scraper wasn't blocked at all, so the whitelisting works fine now

I am facing the same issue from yesterday. Every time I try to come online (logged in always) cloudflare is stopping me. Trying to determine whether I'm robot or not, lol. Sometimes it would not even verify stating my internet speed is too slow and I need to refresh the page. I thought I was the only one. 

When my account was blocked I contacted the administrator about having trouble accessing it. The administrator mentioned that my request to stay online might have been the reason, but I'm unsure why and whether Theymos was involved in the verification process

I have seen a lot more cloudlfare verification messages popping up, but this is happening on many other websites, no only in bitcointalk forum.
Honestly I never liked cloudflare, but nobody ever released any decent alternative to protect against ddos attacks.
This makes using Tor browser very challenging sometimes 

I am having the same issue. Thank goodness, I am not the only one experiencing this. It is happening on both mobile and desktop browsers. It is annoying as I am already used to fast logging in on the with just a click of the button. For now, if the administrators set it up because of a suspicious attack like bots, them I am in 100% support for it.

There's nothing to get scared of when things like this are appearing, all we need to do is to solve the captcha and login successfully, i also thought about it as a means of controlling bots or AI set up to automate login and postings, but if its human, you will understand the required procedures to follow in getting it solved in other to have a successful login, you can also keep seeing this appearing repeatedly when the captcha is not recognized or properly solve and this mostly has to do with type of browser being used.

Are you confusing the remain logged in option with something else, maybe 2FA?

AFAIK, staying logged in forever is as simple as a click, and you're in, except the process has been changed recently.

Although in this case I've been getting more captchas than usual lately from other sites so I suspect that it's Cloudflare increasing the threat score of our IP addresses.

It is problem from Cloudflare, not from Bitcointalk. You will have same issues with other websites that deploy Cloudflare. Cloudflare looks more buggy and laggy recent months as I noticed it.

Beyond Cloudflare issues, if you get a notification that your session is timed out, you can refresh your page and if it does not help, try to log in your account again.

I experienced this yesterday when I wanted to access the forum. I didn't bother much about that because I was browsing from a strange location with poor network connection. I had suspected that it was due to poor network connections that made me experience that. This is my next time access the forum after leaving the strange location, I'll see if it persists. While many people have thought it's from the cloudfare side of the divide, I had thought it's from my own side and its network capacity.

Did you actually mention wallet signature verification before you login to use the forum? Is theymos trying to implement something new from the backend which is the reason for is happening?

I previously tried the "stay logged in" option, but the additional verification steps involving wallet signature felt lengthy and inconvenient. I opted out since then, but I'm curious if the process has been streamlined or improved to be more user-friendly.

That does not help. Cloudflare's verification comes before that captcha. I have seen Cloudflare a lot today.

It was like that on me, and I wasn't using any VPN although I do have an ad block present on my browser right now which I don't think is enough to interfere with the internet connection. I'm pretty sure he's talking about the Cloudflare Human Verification redirection page that you happen upon when you load on a certain page in this forum, which I have experienced for a while now but has not been that big of a nuisance to me as it apparently is for the OP. In any case I don't think it's got anything to do with you internet connection or how fast it it. I have a 150 mbps connection connected directly through LAN and I also used my phone's data service to open pages in the site, both times I get the cloudflare human verification redirection page when loading on specifically large threads. So my inference is that it's got something to do with the loading times or the data size that some threads in the forum carry. To buffer the site and allow the whole shit to load while also preventing brute-forcing the forum through these vulnerabilities cloudflare which is a hosting service automatically places these to slow the user down to an acceptable degree.

I personally wouldn't mind it unless it always asks you to complete the CAPTCHA (it automatically solves the captcha on my end) and if that were the case for you OP, I suggest you look for solutions on the internet. For the most part I think our guess is as good as yours as to why this happens and how to prevent it.

Most reasons i found on the internet is cloudflare flagging the ip address in a certain level, idk the reason for mine and the others.

You are not the only one, and it hasn't been rectified yet as it happened to me a few minutes ago while trying to login to my account but I think the human verification process is a way to prevent malicious bots and protect the website from DDos.

Well, I just hope it's nothing serious may just traffic. So you're not the only one experiencing it.

I do not think it is either of these two reasons. I have been noticing it since morning since I woke up and till now, but only if I do not access the forum for sometime like 30 minutes or more, it will appear again. Not appearing if accessing the forum continuously.

We can not say the forum is having higher traffic today than it is since many days or weeks ago when we are not seeing the issue. Also I am using 5G phone with good Internet speed that is very fast and I am seeing the issue. Probably this will be something against DDOS attack is my guess and we will not see it again after some period of time.

I have experienced that sometimes too and from my experience I think it mostly happens when the forum traffic is way high. But sometimes the strength of our internet connection can also be a contributing factor.

I am seeing it on three different browsers and only Duckduckgo is a bit private, the other two browsers are not.

It is not login issue that OP is talking about.

I don't know if Cloudflare's doing it on each site they're protecting. I've seen it when I've used the forum today so did cloudflare make a system mod or they've added it uniquely for the forum?

I noticed today that the CF check appears and that it is impossible to access the forum through Tor standard settings. Otherwise, I haven't had any problems with CF for a long time, and I can't say whether the admin changed something or CF has some internal problem - as far as I can see, today they have regular maintenance in the Singapore data center.

I also thought I was the only one facing this cloudflare human verification since morning as anytime I kinda tried login in to my account it keeps popping up and asking me for verification, though it seems it has stopped for now because i am not experiencing it again. I think the verification was just for security check ups of some malicious bots but i believe the system is free now.

You should know that it would be against any possible attack in this forum would be the reason why we are seeing it. Just be patient and everything would be solved and all will be fine again.

It is not like that for everyone. It depends on the kind of browser and VPN you are using. The more private your connection is the more captchas you may likely solve.
You can try using
If you have persistent difficulties with the CAPTCHA, go here after logging in. to bypass the captcha but be careful as that link can be used to brute force your login because captchas help slow down brute forcing process since they have to be solved manually.

As for screen verification when you try accessing some pages especially when you click ALL it happens when the forum traffic is high.
The last DDoS attack was on BPIP so an Enter button was added to first be clicked before being able to access BPIP.

Am I the only one facing this issue everytime I am trying to access the forum? Or everyone here is seeing the same screen. I am not trying to login as I have opted for Always stay logged in option. So, I am trying to only access the forum and everytime I do it I have to go through this shit. Is it because of DDos attack or @theymos is trying to control the bots that are spamming the forum. I would love to here your problem as for me it is making me irritate with constant verification screen. Infeel as if I need to prove  myself that I am human with this sudden change.
