And what do You think? Will Ethereum overtake Bitcoin?

I wouldn't say it will overtake it's price but definitely it's popularity and growth capacity has overtaken Bitcoin's back when it started

ETH is nothing more than a speculation bubble that will eventually get replaced. It's only real value is what will keep it from ever becoming a true currency. It is unreal that people forget or just don't understand why immutability is so important. It can never be a trusted currency because of this but it can be a store of value for the masses as long as their prospects are aligned with the devs agenda, as they have proven they have no qualms about cooking the books to their advantage.
Ethereum, was not a bad project but they decidedly made a mistake when they decided to bend the rules to their liking, since then, many do not trust Ethereum, personally I think it is a project that is going to continue for a long time but I think it is never going to reach the success it had in the past weeks and months ever again when it was so close to bitcoin in market cap, now bitcoin more than doubles the market cap of ETH and I think that is only going to increase in the next weeks.

Anybody who switches from BTC to ETH is probably on the lower end of the average IQ distribution.

I think NO bitcoin is more popular than etherium a lot of people already trust bitcoin and bitcoin is the very first ever crypto currency made before of all so no one can replace that did you see now that all of crypto and e currency even fiat is having an exchange with bitcoin because he is so popular around the world. Maybe eth can reach on what bitcoin price now who knows but the fact is bitcoin is not replaceable he is the center of all currency in the world.

I agree. Bitcoin is the basis of the basics. If it falls, it means that someone needs it. So, someone is buying it hard. So, soon will fly to 4500 dollars. Bitcoin has such a code that further emission is not possible. And this means that it will only go up, as its offer on the market is limited.

I think not, bitcoin still number one. As I know bitcoin is mother of coins, their price action make many people replace their money into bitcoin and get some profit. Even today bitcoin price falling down but this coin has trust on real market. Ethereum can overtake bitcoin but it will takes extra hard works, many news speculation and a good price action. Never lose your faith with bitcoin and good luck.

I am optimistic on Ethereum too , BTC has a high price to me , you can't be eager to have a 10X price of now,  but ethereum can.

ETH is unlikely to replace BTC, after all, BTC has passed the test of time, and ETH is more intelligent than BTC contract to seize a certain position, BTC first position is unshakable

Markets are unpredictable, even if bitcoin has lost a lot of ground in the previous 48 hours Ethereum has crashed way harder than bitcoin and there is not a reason to think this is going to change anytime soon, even with all this instability in the price of bitcoin, bitcoin dominance is almost 50% at the moment when it was way lower some weeks ago, like always traders have been wrong about the direction the market was going to take, it was impossible to maintain those prices any longer and the bubble finally burst.
