It looks like there is still some "delicate" issues between the Bitcoinworld and the Wikileaks world nowadays. And Satoshi: ...you know man, with all the respect, times change...! For me, i just want to be ready for the great paradigm shift. And for Wikileaks shop: i will not buy your t-shirt with Visa neither Pay Pal - while they don´t integrate Bitcoins Tongue

There's a video out there where Julian talks to Eric from Google about bitcoin.

Thought I'd mention it. Smiley

Lemme see if I can find it..

Well this isn't video but it'll do:

Primedice.com, Stake.com
Back then Satoshi Explicitly asked for them to not include Bitcoin i believe as it could lead to the total collapse of the currency by being on to many radars in its infancy not sure why not now though

Interesting that he said that, times have changed however.

Is the shop part of their donation support strategy? I don't feel Wikileaks should be profiting as a company although I understand if profits go towards the running costs etc.

They accept btc's for donation: http://shop.wikileaks.org/donate#dbitcoin

So I guess it should be possible to convince them for accepting them in their shop too.
...also didn't know they had a shop  Embarrassed

Ok, back then but what about now? Bitcoin is already sailing the "open sea"..., there is no turning back anymore!

I mean, they are selling t-shirts about "Cypherpunks", "Free Assange", "Corage is Contagious"... But DON'T accept Bitcoins as payment... Just "Pay Pal and Credit Cards"... exactly the people who blocked them financially in the first place! I really don't understand this... Also, Julian himself have been saying in his new book that all our data are being filed, saved, spyed on and stored in certain data base from those big corporations, sold off for governments and other corporations and then... they just accept that kind of payment in their "Wikileaks Shop", i don't understand that. Hey Cypherpunks...! Send them a message!  Wish i could buy some of those t-shirts, wish i could support the cause, but i m definately, in this case, just paying in Bitcoins or similar. Is there a place in their website where people can send messages, suggestions?

Greetings

Mark
