Almost 2018 a,
And still no Tapatalk support.
See my post count? That's exactly the reason why it's so low.

I would be far more active if I wouldn't have to deal with the ceappy rendering of this site on a mobile device.
The beta site is also, well, just in beta. Feels more like alpha though on the iPhone.
Ahem.  No loss there.  But I agree this site sucks on mobile, which is how I always
access it.  It doesn't even need an app; it just needs to be mobile friendly.  Can't believe
bct isn't yet.  I've seen this new software alluded to many times,  so I'll believe it when I see
it.  Not the worst thing in the world but could be better.   I still am grateful for the forum,
however it looks.

Personally, I don't like using an app to access forums.  I prefer ordinary sites and moving around, zooming in and out.  Apps are pretty annoying.  Tapatalk doesn't even work that well and it leaves that annoying message below that it was posted with Tapatalk.  I know that it's just preference but I'm not sure the demand is even that high for Tapatalk.

If you're really desperate to use an app, Bitcointalk has its own app so just use that instead of Tapatalk.  You could also do this - it looks like a mobile site.

The progress on that isn't exactly rapid, to say the least.

i'm thankful for everyone who is participating to make information and software that is providing it accessible and usable and are therefore bringing up suggestions. tapatalk is one of them (and one that i'd also like to see being supported on bitcointalk) and the fact that it's been asked for over years might be a hint that many consider it beneficial.

the security-argument has been brought up several times against tapatalk-support but besides gut-feelings I haven't come across any fundamental hints what exactly might be wrong security-wise with tapatalk or why exactly one would be better of by storing his/her credentials in a mobile browser provided free of charge by worlds biggest data broker (-> chrome).
I don't want to start off another tiring discussion that wont change anything but originally wanted to report that https://beta.bitcointalk.org yields a 502.

hopefully bitcointalks new shiny browser-software with mobile-support will still work with console-based text-browsers such as elinks, w3m and the like... lets see Wink

It's more convenient way to post on forums. The Bitcoin talk forum Android app is bad and inconvenient these days. So why there are no Tapatalk installed?
