Well theres so many redundunt posts since theres too much topics and it goes over more than thousands of posts. Users who are impatient and is curious like you but tend to find it hard to search for questions so they tend to just post and ask.

well sometimes newcomers see something or hear something on the news and that creates these questions in their heads. there are quite a lot of people out there spreading FUD about bitcoin calling it dead, bubble, ... so it is understandable to see topics like that.

but also these topics are sometimes created by spammers as a place where they can spam and get paid by their respective signature campaigns.

if you see one of these overly repeated topics, simply report them as low quality and if they really are, these topics will be removed.

Thank you for your reply. You are right, those people maybe are really newbies that are confused or just spammers.
It looks like I will just have to get used to it.

"It looks like I will just have to get used to it"

You mean getting used to also spamming? Because if you conclude to get use to something, you virtually means you want to start doing what they are doing or you want to keep doing same. Getting use to such is not the right mentality.

Meanwhile, with your activities standing at 112, I believe you should have known about the reason members post in mega thread by now.

Do quality post and don't spam the thread. That will help your account.

Sorry if my reply is quite unclear. What I mean is used to seeing it but I will not do that.
I always try posting as good as I can. Although my ability seems to be a huge factor in how high quality my post will be.
I also avoid megathreads as I want my posts to be read. It will have a high chance of being read if I would post in much newer threads.

I would like to know what are your opinions about the topics that are always showing up like 'is bitcoin dead', 'gold vs bitcoin', 'is bitcoin risky' and more.
Why do those topics always brought up?
Because probably a lot of people FOMO'd in on bitcoin's peak price of about $16k-$20k, and they're now somewhat panicking because they expected to be rich quick. Tongue Also probably because people are finding easy topics to post on to collect postcount so they made those redundant topics instead.

Also why are there threads that have very high post counts. Are the posts in it really contribute in this forum? Are those posts even read?
Most posts on those threads are from people who only post to increase their activity; and also because those topics are pretty much idiot-friendly, whereas everyone can have their own opinion on the topic.

Just tell me if it is not okay to post this kind of question.

It's from people who do not bother to confirm or crosscheck the information which they are being fed. They see something about bitcoin and it's ll genuine news to them so they start spreading it.

After posting this I somehow felt my post is not a high quality post. It came out to me because of my deep curiousity why there are those kind of post.

That made me understand more why those post always shows up.
