Probably because they believe in the possibility of quick and easy profits from investing in ICO, while banks offer a meager percentage of payments on deposits. And about the reliability of investing in ICO and depositing in a bank that is able to go bankrupt.

If you are able to make good money out of %3 returns, that means you are already rich and you are still letting banks to suck your blood.
Banks are clearly ripping us off and people are searching for the alternatives. In the end It all came to this: "Either Lambo now or die trying."
Everybody who makes an investment in ICO's are all aware of the risk of losing their money completely but they still don't care. They want to believe that they are the lucky special snowflakes just like the early bitcoin adopters. All they want is to reanimate the same time frame happened with bitcoin in between 2009 and 2017.

Because they know that they can earn big rewards on different projects/products and it's much cheaper on ICO. If you put money on savings account better invest it on stock market. The biggest scammers are banks and governments.

The main reason is that Banks give too little interest and people don't want to put their money in the bank. Investment ICO can earn several or even dozens of times of profits, so more people are willing to invest in ICO rather than deposit money in the bank.

Savings account can only earn you little interest over a period of time, these interest rates are set and restricted, while the banks makes a lot from loaning out the money saved, ICOs wont take as long as the Bank accounts and the rates aren't set or as low. the returns are high thus the ICO preference

Because they are more adventurous, the yield of investment ico can be said to be much higher than that given by banks. Of course, this requires their own vision and courage.

Banks cant give people 10000% ROIn in just few months if waiting,that is very possible with these ICO investments that why most of the people are choosing to risk their money with these ICOs because if the ICO has succeed they will be making a lot of money and that is for sure,minimum return will be x10 and there are limitless on how much profits you can get!

It is because they heard stories like someone invested somethung and it goes x10 or more for a short period of time, thus they got attracted to unvesting to an ICO or to the crypto. Common people and investors does want to have a faster ROI,that is why most of the people are choosing ICO investments that could give them instant money whenever the ICO has reached the hardcap,surely the value of these tokens will skyrocket in no time,this is the main reason why i loved cryptocurrencies because you can as much as you can with investing with ICOs.

It's not comparable in my opinion. The bank system has been dedicated to the users which were making them all able to svae their amount safely and got a little interest every month. But ico can give you more than 10x if you are investing in the right project. That's why a lot of people are interested to join in the ico rather than put all of their money into the bank account. Because cryptocurrencies offers far greater than any banks in the world,return of investments are faster than any bank deals that you can get thats why investors are gambling with cryptocurrencies,people are tired with small amount that they are getting from these banks that is why they are trying cryptocurrency investments especially ICO investmenrs.

Might be related to the fact that I am already getting screwed by the banks as taxpayer since the big bank bailout. They call that "universal social charge" here and well paying for financially imprudent or unresponsible behaviour by the banks. Why would you give idiots, who wasted so much money and are not even offering interest trust with any more of your money?
Satoshi Nakamoto most likely also was an unhappy taxpayer when he invented bitcoin towards the end of the banking crisis.

Simple the banks has less to offer and cryptocurrencies,ICO investments has a lot to offer better than any deal that you can get wit these banks that is why most of the people choose to invest to these ICOs over these shit banks,decentralization does the work because there are no third party institutions like banks who gets most of your potential profits.

Saving your money thru banks wont give you a decent amount of ROI and you might need to have atleast billions of dollars to be able to get a decent ROI with the banks,but if you invested to these ICOs you can have x10000% easy profits if you have picked the right ICO at the right time but to warn you most of these ICOs are scams so you need to be picky to prevent these scam projects.

Return of investments every year from the banks ranges 1-1.5% average,while you can earn a lot of profits in just few weeks or months waiting after these ICOs has finally over,giving you an average 100% or more that is the main reason why ICOs are still the first choice of those people who arent good in trading because you could lose a lot in trading,while ICOs you will just need to pick good ones out of bunch of scam projects in the market that is why most of the people are choosing ICOs.

Generally banks offer about 1-1,5% ROI.
But for example BitConnect offered 1,5 a day!!!

Because these banks cant givey you good returns,that is why most of the people are risking their money to cryptocurrencies over these shit banks which has a lot of fees yearly,plus the amount you can get from your money isnt much compare to the amount that you can get from those ICO investments in just small amount of time.

I think that the interest banks are paying are very low and people are trying to find new ways to use their savings and earn profit of it.
But I don't think that a lot of people are investing in crypto.

I think the main reason is the low roi that the banks in those parts of the world are offered, most banks in those regions only offer 1-2% profit per annum which does not make it attractive so people are always on the look out for new and emerging markets like crypto.
