If your question is for "bitcoin as payment solution" then you shouldn't compare them, as both have different pros and cons.
Biggest pros with bitcoin is anonymity and privacy.

As a consumer you should use any of them which suits you.

It is better to diversify your assets. Don't put your eggs on one basket. And Bitcoin is the future world currency. It has very high potential.

I can send and receive bitcoin without having to give all of my personal information to some financial institution or third party. Being able to send btc globally without incurring huge fees is also a huge bonus.

For merchants/sellers: clear advantage as vod stated, No chargebacks etc...
For buyer: you don't let your private information online, you reduce the risk for identity theft etc... and you pay less fees on transactions.

Bit coin is basically like an assets and once we accumulate it , over a period of time it keeps on appreciating based on e currency trading

that is where the point comes here to keep BTC accumulated .It is like a Gold coins that we keep on buying for safety. Also like Gold coin

i guess in future BTC also will help us to fight against inflation rate .

Happy BTC accumulation  Smiley

no chargeback is only good for the seller, not the consumer though. the consumer, at this point, has to go out and get bitcoin to make the transaction.

once the bitpay system becomes smooth and risk-averse enough, i hope newegg/overstock/tigerdirect give us discounts for paying via bitcoin. they are saving a lot of money after all.

and the seller has to deal with the guilt felt by the buyer who shows no remorse (believe Me people like that are out there)

“A dollar bill also has no use other than what people are willing to pay for it. “??!?!? Incredible. What about the federal, state and local governments in the US, which will send you to jail if you don’t pay your taxes each year using US dollars.

Meanwhile, bitcoin mining firms are engaged in some sort of perverse arbitrage, wasting hundreds of dollars worth of power to generate a single unit of this fantasy currency. We’ll soon have to build new power plants dedicated solely to powering the legions of these overzealous enterprises, wasting tons of scarce resources in the real world and polluting our environment, all so anti-government fetishists and criminal lowlifes can engage in such folly. I can’t wait for this tulip currency to crash down to the ground, taking those douchey Winklevii with them.

Head up your ass.  So quick to criticise BTC as detrimental to the environment.  The amount of fossil based fuel spent by the Secret Service and the US Treasury to stop counterfitting and print paper money and mint coins exceeds the total energy usage by the entire Bitcoin network - and that's just for the US.  Now imagine how much money is spent by governments worldwide?  I'm sure it's a magnitude larger than all the crypto power combined.

Go eat a tulip.
