Although, if it is indeed plagiarism, there is nothing he can do. Plagiarism brings a permanent ban for life.
That means he must have done some useful posts ?
Everybody does one or two mistakes in their life.
Don't you think this is too hard, also everyone should be given chance to explain themselves
Justice can never be served ,if it does not give other person chance to explain.
Thankyou tho.
You may be right that "Everybody does one or two mistakes in their life".
But, this forum has clearly stated about the prohibition and rules as shown in this link https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/writing-a-welcome-message-5036308.
In that link has been clearly stated by theymos that there are some rule violations that will lead you to be banned.
Theymos and its administrator already told us about these as part of https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/writing-a-welcome-message-5036308
"Common rule violations
These are the most common rule violations that newbies make. There are other rules than these.
Plagiarism: If you copy some text from somewhere, then you should have a good reason for it, and you must link to the source. Doing otherwise is plagiarism. Changing a few words around doesn't matter. If we find that you plagiarized, then you absolutely will be permanently banned, even if we find it years after you did it.
Multi-posting: Do not post twice in a row in a topic. Instead, edit your old post.
Low-content posts: Do not post low-content garbage like "agreed!", "nice project!", etc. You can be banned for this, and it's also pointless if you want to increase your rank, since you will never get merit for such posts."
From the statement above, it is clear that everyone that does plagiarism will be absolutely permanently banned.
I know that your friend may have tried very well for this forum and he got merit. But, I'm sure that many newbies here also do the same. We are also doing our best to make a qualified posting to get at least one merit.
But, fault is a fault. And as the consequence of the fault, we must be ready for the consequences after doing that fault. It is better for us to take this as the lesson.
