Posts deleted by moderators in this forum because it has some things that are not in accordance with the existing regulations. Don't make the very common topic that already exists in this forum. Don't be spamming and copy pasts while posting was this post deleted forum moderators. However, make your post line not like hi, hello and off topic, must be constructive and helpful to others.

Someone defined "dirt" as matter in the wrong the wrong place. Same may be true for your post-an excellent post or reply in a wrong thread, or could have been very similar to what someone else already said. In any case, only the moderator would have the best reason for deleting such a  post. Looks well written though

I avoid the mining thread because they are probably looking to get highly knowledgeable miners onboard to discuss which types of graphics cards can give the best hash rates. All very technical, and only suitable for dedicated miners

I've actually put the mining section on ignore. Unless you are a member of the Bitcoin Talk mining elite, then your post will probably be deleted. If they want that section to expand, and to help new and aspiring miners, then the mod should be replaced.

Sometimes deleting an article may not be your fault. This may depend entirely on whether the author of the article can accept your answer or question!

That's the topic, as I remember reading it. My best guess is that it was seen as generic or low quality in relation to the OP and the discussion that was going on, based on the MODS opinion. Iirc that was the extent of the post and there was no direct link to engaging the OP material or others posts.

I doubt it got reported, but you can see one of the section MODS had been in there handing out merit, so maybe it failed their litmus test. You could always PM them and ask. I did notice in checking the deletion log that one other post was also removed.

lol call me stupid, I don't remember.  It was one of the threads in mining speculation.  People were commenting on miners barely even making a profit.

Oh well it's not a big deal, was just curious who deleted it.

Only assign Moderator could delete the comment in mining speculation board. The assign Moderators are gmaxwell, -ck and frodocooper; and maybe someone reported it as spam or not related to the topic.

Your reply might be decent and probably be constructive enough, but it completely depends on the context. What topic did you reply in? Mind linking it?

Mining isn't even worth it these days unless you have government subsidized electricity like the chinese, they get their electricity dirt cheap and their miners at a discount from Chinese manufacturers.  The little guys have been squeezed out and it's now a razor thin margin industrial game.
