So many posts get deleted for "simply" "not being good enough" or "long enough"... absolutely pathetic
You can replace 'not being good enough' with unconstructive or low value. The forum doesn't set high standards for what a post should be, especially in some of the boards. There could be a difference of opinion between what the mod and user considers low quality, but, if it's off topic, or contributes little to the thread then it would likely get deleted.
Some boards are moderated stringently, but there's lots of freedom on the forum.

On the aspect of post length; I do not think a mod would delete an on topic and quality reply cause it's not long enough. Number of characters does but really matter.
If you just add a 'thank you' or 'good job' reply to a thread, it would get deleted as it specifically breaks forum rules.

(ask permission beforehand)

I just made a post here to remind Yahoo that I ever made #proof of authentication at Winz.io signature campaign thread..
looking at the WINZ.IO spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rNqeHpZgRvFonUEThR-eEEsu5MSxiLoVUHYHwbafqzU/edit#gid=0) it looks like you got accepted so the only explanation is it must have been reported and got deleted mistakenly deleted by a moderator. it happens from time to time and there is no need to remind yahoo since you already got accepted

It is just a matter of time before he is expelled from WINZ.IO campaign. this person is tagged by #lovesmayfamilis today, he broke some company's bounty rules and entered alt accounts on bounty campaign. Maybe this is the reason for reporting his application as "unconstructive post" and got deleted by moderator.

Many members in this forum use to patrol as a hobby, which is great because there are many brand new spammers lately Angry but I suppose that, in an effort to catch every positive opportunity for their reporting score, sometimes they go too far (you are Legendary!).

That was the reason almost for sure; nothing to do with politics as we could argue at first sight: I guess that the post looks like spam, was reported as spam and labeled as spam. Sometimes the most obvious answer is the correct one.

Could be used for baiting. Imagine replacing that link with a Rickroll one, you know where this is going :p

Or just plugging.

1. The reason could be that you just put there a link minus adding any comments/words along that try to illustrate what's in the linked video. Imagine if each one of us here did the same in different threads. It would make constructive discussion here difficult and pointless Wink
So I am leaning to "low quality post/reply" as the reason

.....

Agreed, as mentioned in my OP, I suspected that. (so in hindsight, I actually did have an idea why). Indeed I was lazy and I didn't link any context. Will not do that again.

Even though your link is not malicious , some people might have reported it as a spam post with only a link and mods got this deleted. You should not be worried if your one or two posts are deleted in a month or so but if the ratio of your posts deletion is more, then you should be curious to work out on it.

2. Another reason could be because you made consecutive replies? I can't tell since one of the replies has already been deleted
That's not the case.
The post sirazimuth is referring to was the last post of the thread and the previous post has been made by another user.

most likely it was deleted for not having a context. the post you made is in page 3 members probably don't know who the link is for.

but it is not something new that someone would report a post of someone that they don't agree with and the post getting deleted because of it.

So this is weird. I posted a link that discusses Trumps pardons in the thread I started, entitled "Trump Pardons" and it got deleted.
I have no idea why.  Maybe I broke a rule I'm not aware of? Naked link with no context maybe?
Its certainly not off topic.
Anyway, I'm just curious to know, so I don't repeat same mistake. Thanx.
