Recently, I have learned more about the meaning of nft. I currently think that a large part of the value of nft lies on collection and identity authentication.

For collections, nft will never be destroyed even if the project founder or artist leave it, your token will always be stored on the blockchain. For example, as for me, I will never sell my  Pixelglyphs which a very attractive project I discovered recently which uses algorithms to generate pixel avatars on the blockchain, which is similar to the default avatar on github. Each avatar is different, and there is no so-called rarity and attribute. Even it's price go to zero, I will buy as much as I can, because I just like them and they will always belong to me.

For identity authentication, the popularity of cryptopunks not only because of its special meaning (almost the earlist NFT program) and collection value, but also because of the  representation of  a group of top players in the crypto currency area. For example, famous people from Twitter and company spent tens or even hundreds of eth to buy cryptopunks to show their vision, ability, and have chance to make friends.
What do you think of the prospect of NFT, and why do you buy NFTs?

I am afraid you are mistaken that you can’t lose your NFTs. The thing is that it is one of the issues that demand to be solved in terms of NFT. Storage of them is not very safe now. It means that one day you can enter your storage and see Error404 instead of your picture. It can happen, because pictures, videos or music attached to NFTs are stored on centralised server that can also break down.

I never owned a Beanie Baby.  My baseball cards are all stored away in storage.  I couldn't tell you where my Pogs are.  Owning an NFT is having a nice digital collectible that will never be lost or ruined (if you backup your keys properly) and it's easily tradeable with anyone on the planet quickly and with a low cost.  It's a no brainer that NFTs are going to be a highly sought after collectible in the future.  The trick will be knowing which NFTs are worthless, and which will make you millions.  I'm guessing 99% of NFTs will become completely worthless, but I also think we haven't even seen the beginning of the wave of shit headed toward the market.  Somewhere in that pile will be a nugget of gold though, for certain.

You pretty much have explained the reason why people buy NFT. It's like purchasing an art piece in the gallery and putting it up on display in your house for people to see when they visit you. It's most likely because of the rarity or design of the art piece. Most people who can purchase things like these are the ones who don't have to think about what they invest into or hoping to get a return for it. Almost everything that we do in life is for-profit; I doubt some don't think about it.

We know that now many fake artswork from copy and paste belong to other people, we don't even know who the original owner is. NFT brings solutions for the identity authentication. NFT prospects are very good and will develop even better, I'm sure NFT will be very valuable in the future. Of course I'm interested in buying NFT, but I'm more interested in creating my own NFT.

most people buy NFT for the hope that they will get good fortune when the time comes. not buying any at the moment as i haven't seen any that i am really interested with. i believe, you should also have personal attachment to what you will be buying so for you, it is not only the money that you will get but the real value of the item to you as a person. and that will be priceless for you not the price tag attached to it.

i never buy such nft that's considered art but i buy nft that's useful for playing games.
i think nft is a really good technology and could actually revolutionize the way human lives in the future, we are only at early stage that's why we only see small use of nft however maybe in the future we gonna see different kind of nft hype, so it will have hype that is the same as nft based game but with different usage.
right now, there are many projects that offers nft as their main concern, so it will develop really fast.

I buy NFT because of its profitability. It's part of the future and those people who spend thousands in cash do really see the future in it. And aside from that, you only see the valuable arts in the world of NFT. But there's also some other feature that's becoming trendy lately and those are the games. The feature of earning and playing gives the difference that we've been living lately and that's why it's really growing that huge because it gives incentive only to the makers but also to the buyers and players.

For me personally buying NFT because it follows the current market trend, and Nft is indeed a valuable asset at this time. I briefly rate our current world to be crypto in every way. NFT is one of the evidence of a valuable collection does not have to be in a tangible form.

some nft i buy them because they are cute and i would like to collect them like those of street fighters, cryptomonkeys and cryptokitties, others for pure speculation and profit, however, are an excellent method of earning to use as an alternative to classic altcoins

NFT are something like valuable art.
not all nice paintings or piece of art have a real value (except the material used for producing).
the same with NFT, not all pieces are worth more txs fee for creation Wink

TBH, buying an authentic NFT doesn't mean to be an investment as it's more than that. Moreover, many nft based projects offer real life items like autographs, fighting gloves, baseball bats of that legend who's dropping his/her authentic NFT with collaboration of that project which is a win-win situation for that NFT hodler. Like i said many times that nft is still on early stage and more adoption will be done in this field.  Cheesy

NFT arts is actually not an investment asset from my opinion because we actually don't know the demand and value of the art so its simply going to sit your data storage and you can claim that you are the only one who is having it, nothing more.
Yep, I have to admit the fact that NFT is not much good enough as investment asset than fungible crypto currencies, stocks and so on. But I think it is cool and security enough to be the next generation of collectibles.
Yes, its actually the real use of an NFT which is collectible in the digital format but ensure the real identity at all time. But its for millionaire and billionaires who don't know what to do with the money they earned so they are investing on the collectibles but how they are going to show case the digital art is another big task.

NFTs that can be used for stacking other crypto coin and token mining are showing more interest in buying NFTs so that more profit can be made in less time.

They are just what is popular now in a couple of years or months they will be worthless and will only be talked about as part of the history of cryptocurrencies instead of something that is worth a lot of money. Do not invest in NFT

If you buy the NFT for a piece of digital art, the NFT is not the image file. It is only the record of ownership or authenticity that's stored on the blockchain. The image file will be hosted elsewhere. It's like buying a limited edition print of a photograph.
The information recorded in an NFT essentially lets a creator digitally "autograph" their art. So even if an image or piece of music has been shared hundreds of times, if you buy the NFT, you're buying something unique.

Sounds great! I think I love the way that shows I own a piece of digital art by blockchain.
