Simply providing a link to the Russian language thread and expecting users to translate the allegation made against currency.com and then connect that to yahoo62278 is unfair.

Have there been any documented cases where users have reported of their funds being held? Excessive KYC is one thing but for it to be a scam the contract between them and customers needs to be broken in some way or another.

I know that bitcoin.com wrote an article on it, but also keep in mind that they have a vested interest in selling people bCash for bitcoin and are biased. Therein lies a conflict of interest so let's not take take news against other exchanges from them.

Many of these matters seem to have been extensively discussed in the Russian community. A supposed rep of the exchange already got feedback on his profile from what it seems: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=88761

Why aren't the accusers organizing themselves to see if there's any person that was harmed from the exhcnage's actions? It'd be much easier if the accusations were documented by the harmed party here.
Also, don't assume that everyone can look into Russian discussion topics and draw conclusions. Provide some context at least.

I had to unignore you to read what this subject was about.

Why did you not send a PM to yahoo62278 to ask him the question you asked in the subject title? " Why yahoo62278 managing scam project ( bounty) "

Calling yahoo62278 or any other member of this forum a scammer needs to have some evidence attached to the accusation.

Simply providing a link to the Russian language thread and expecting users to translate the allegation made against currency.com and then connect that to yahoo62278 is unfair.

Rather than post this in the Reputation section you should have opened a Scam Accusation against currency.com clearly stating in the OP what the issue was.

this is a proven forex-scam
proof of this scam here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/currencycom-5227073 ( russian)

many users alredy joined to scam bounty and promote this scam

so for this behavior i see yahoo62278 as a scammer

To Peloso, grow some balls dude. Pm a user if you want to make an accusation. Don't be a pussy.

That would defeat the purpose of this nonsense. Peloso doesn't give a shit about scams (includes scammers in his trust list) - he's just looking to make up any accusations on those who dared to exclude him from DT. Sort of like cryptohunter except for some inexplicable reason he got voted into DT1 to begin with.

my business is to warn and I warned and time will put everything in its place, as you were an idiot and stayed)) nothing has changed

you have more scammers in your trust list

For me right now, Currency.com is in between scam and real, because I have not done proper research yet. But let us find out soon and see where it goes.
Here are some info I got regarding the website's age.

don't be fooled by the age of the domain. it is possible to buy a 15-20-year-old domain today, this is nothing new, and anyone can do ti. It is only matters when the domain is fresh and the business is presented as old and trusted.
In this case, there is no evidence here about the scam. although you are accusing even though you say that not enough research has been done.

Although the funds were released in the end after so many "necessary" and unnecessary documents were submitted, this practice is still unfair to users.
Did they release the fund later after having their docx requirements accomplished? If so, how can they be scam? Centralized exchanges are always such kind of. If they find things suspective, they used to ask for documents.
Read the article so you'll understand why I said it's unfair.

It boomerangs if OP believes he has solid proof then open a scam accusation in the scam section not targeting the campaign manager, well I guess if a guy really hates a person he will find a reason to make the person look bad and this is one example.  Cheesy

I just thought that Yahoo need not answer this accusation not because he is shying away but he already established his reputation I have seen how he rejected past projects with bad reputation, I'm sure he has done research on this one and if he is not he is going to stop the campaign, he always corrected campaign that might harm the forum Yobit is one example..

Hey I'm not part or having part of any of his campaign just my observation
I'm not shying away from responding. I was never pmmed regarding this topic by the cowardly OP. I have too much going on and do not always browse every section of the forum.

When I was approached about the project I took a look around and didn't see any scam accusations. All fiat sites have KYC restrictions, it's standard. Someone show me solid proof it's a scam I will reevaluate and consider closing it down.

To Peloso, grow some balls dude. Pm a user if you want to make an accusation. Don't be a pussy.

I'm not, and it's only getting worse, believe me.

all proofs in that link and if you have doubts about my proofs you can go ahead and fuck yourself
I couldn't read what was in that link because I don't speak Russian.  That's why I criticized you for not creating a proper scam accusation thread with an English translation.  I'm not in anyone's gang, nor am I in any of Yahoo62278's campaigns.  If this website is a scam then I would hope he would cease managing the campaign post haste, but as I said this isn't going to happen with lightning speed.  Yahoo62278 has to figure out what the truth is and then decide what he's going to do.  Just calm the fuck down and be patient.

Now that ryap12 posted a translation, it should be easier for the English-speaking community to figure out what's going on.

It's bitcointalk's global board, not your Russian board, peloso. You are smart enough to understand this truth that no one would go to a thread which they do not understand and make a decision. And for your info, a google translation will never get you the exact translation of other languages into English. So, it's better you present everything in English.

Problem is people would never speak against Yahoo even if he rapes them because they are worried that Yahoo will exclude members from his campaigns if they speak against him. So don't expect much support from members here when you are against Yahoo.

This is not true. You are not following the right way of scam accusation about currency.com that’s only few are reacting on it. You should follow other user suggestion to move the Currency.com accusation thread to Global Scam Accusation section so that other DT can judge whether you have a point here or not.

As I see, there is irregularities happened on currency.com as per Veleor source. You have a supporting evidence so why not move it there rather than debating here which we all know that will never end unless you show strong proof. Many DT are very fair in dealing with this kind of issue like @Suchmoon and @Marlboroza.

Yahoo is a very reputable member here and we all know that he personally review the exchange first before he accept the job offer. So I believe this is the main reason why it’s hard to get support here and not just because he is managing a signature campaign.

You might want to check chronicsky's feedback on Yahoo's profile, he just exclude member he doesn't like or trust rather than going for default trust and standards so anyone who speaks against yahoo is in danger of being banned from future campaigns.

The problem is simple, you give power and management to people who are egoistic and self centered then  they just ruin the whole system.

No, it's because you're too lazy to do it the right way and just want to stir up shit as quickly as you can.  Member Paga has one negative trust, but I'm not sure if it's an accusation that the project is a scam or not--it doesn't look like it as far as I can see.  So if you have solid evidence that currency.com is a scam, you should present everything you have in a thread in the Scam Accusation section instead of attacking the campaign manager.

yahoo will sell his Grandma into prostitution for money, he has no moral compass.
Eh, I doubt that.  My guess is that if this really is a scam exchange, Yahoo62278 will distance himself from it.  He realizes the importance of his reputation on the forum, believe me.  But none of that is going to be done immediately, and especially not until a proper scam accusation is leveled against currency.com.

I had a chat with currency.com long ago and I was supposed to be running their campaign here. They were very strict in KYC policy and asked me create account on their site so that they can pay me the campaign payment here. Due to not be able to submit KYC, I was not chosen.
There are many more scam projects running their campaign but as per their TOS, they are not scam.

Currency.com was criticized by news.bitcoin.com for withholding customers funds and for forcing clients to go through many KYC/KYT procedures.

Currency.com Accused of Exploiting KYC to Withhold Customer Funds
I was gonna say withholding funds is common among central exchanges before reading the article but damn!!!

This exchange is out of this world when it comes to crucifying its users with their insane "Proof of Funds" policy. KYC is already a burden, KYT is even worst. Although the funds were released in the end after so many "necessary" and unnecessary documents were submitted, this practice is still unfair to users.

I hope this doesn't become the new norm. Things will only go back to what's stated in the Bitcoin's WP

.....hassling them for more information than they would otherwise need. A certain percentage of fraud is accepted as unavoidable.
