No way. And won't make sense, because diff would be during some days/hours back and value before reset.
Will the developers issue a hard fork to reset the difficulty?
Some people will stop mining alltogether, some people will switch to another SHA256 coin, some people will keep going.
What if Bitcoin mining outpaces mining profits? What if there was overinvestment in mining?
