Yes you can get more profit in less scale but you can't have the scale what BTC has got in the previous few years. If we talk about the popularity and profit ETH is the closest.

I agree with you. We are not talking about altcoins that can outperform Bitcoin but there are not even any altcoins that are similar to Bitcoin. The OP asked about altcoins that are similar to Bitcoin in terms of mechanisms such as halving and supply size. There are actually several developers who are trying to create coins similar to Bitcoin. They minted only 21 million coins the POW way. I've forgotten the coins but as far as I know they weren't successful because they were just imitating Bitcoin.

Im looking for altcoin wich POS proof of stake.
But it's similar to btc limited supply and maybe with halving kind of thing.
I like btc only thing what i don't like it's POW thing so Im looking for similar supply game but just POS.

The only cryptocurrencies that resemble Bitcoin, in my opinion, are BCH and LTC. If the next generation views Bitcoin as digital gold, then LTC is SILVER and uses SCRYPT, whereas Bitcoin uses SHA256. The maximum supply of BCH is 21 million, compared to 84 million for Bitcoin.

As most people in the cryptocurrency sector are aware, BCH is a hard fork of Bitcoin, and as a result, it processes transactions faster than Bitcoin—per second compared to 10 minutes for Bitcoin. Furthermore, if Bitcoin employs POW in altcoins, then POS in the consensus process. In terms of use case, we are aware that altcoins are intelligent and Bitcoin is a store of value while altcoins was smart contract and Dapps.

Many have attempted to find a coin like bitcoin but to no avail.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency for a reason and no other coin can replicate what it is. Even ethereum isn’t as close despite being the 2nd top coin in cryptocurrency. There’s really no point in finding other coins like bitcoin. Just invest in bitcoin as it is.

You will just find nothing because BTC is the only coin with a unique feature and characteristic whereas altcoins have nothing to compare with. Don't waste your time looking for it but rather go buy BTC directly. Or, stop doing that and invest in potential altcoins.

 - in terms of market supply and prices, BTC is special but altcoins have an unlimited supply. However, the chances of earning huge in altcoins are high, a lot of coins in hyped x1000 but yes, the risk of losing is too high as well. So, you better think what really the option you take, or choose to be safe with Bitcoin.

Maybe one day we can find an altcoin whose characteristics are similar to Bitcoin, but for now I haven't found one that exactly imitates it or maybe I missed it or I don't understand much about it so I'm also looking for knowledge here by reading other comments too

That's going to be hard to find and I doubt you will find one with a limited supply as low as Bitcoin is.

Most altcoins have a fixed supply but the problem is they are way too high. Billions or worst trillions, that's the number of the coins that will come out. So, even if it's a proof of stake like what Ethereum does now, it's still impossible to make such good profits out of it.
With that, I'd rather pick Ethereum which is the King of altcoins because right there I can be assured that no rugpull will happen, bankruptcy, or whatever reasons the altcoin developer have whenever they exit. If you want staking, Ethereum already made it happen so it's best to just stick with the cryptocurrency with roots and profit through the increase in value while you are accumulating more.

don't think there is currently a single coin that is exactly like Bitcoin, but I think ethereum could be a substitute for Bitcoin for investment, because ethereum has very good prospects for investment in the future, the proof is from the past until now ethereum always in second place next to bitcoin,
The space is all about winning, we prolonged our existence by hitting it big. Bitcoin will always remain top because there are quite important features to follow and carry the strong basis of improvement. Investment is important and it's our priority to observed the system and understand the basis of the space. We have evident projects that are promising but we should also make thorough research about these projects. Comparing an altcoin to bitcoin? Ofcourse it's crystal clear that none of these projects matches with bitcoin when it comes to value and also grabbing the attention of top whales.

Almost all of us know that the most well-known valuable and widely accepted crypto currency is Bitcoin. There are thousands of coins in the market, each with its own value. However, none have come close to surpassing Bitcoin in terms of value and market dominance. I don't know if altcoins will come close to Bitcoin in the future, maybe not. Ethereum is the second most valuable currency after Bitcoin. There are many altcoins following Bitcoin that grow as the price of Bitcoin increases, but the price gap between Bitcoin and the altcoin continues to widen with no chance of convergence.

BTC is based on PoW so if you are looking for coins that works based on POS then its completely different from bitcoin.

What you expect is a coin which is working on PoS and it's staking rewards decrease over time and whoever reads OP should read it completely instead of jumping into your replies with LTC or ETH or whatever coin that you are recommending to.

Actually there's no altcoins that has to be compared with bitcoin due to  the price difference, the gap is too much to be compared with any altcoin. However I think ethereum works together with bitcoin because whenever there's increase in the price of bitcoin I always experience some changes in the price of ethereum as well, not only ethereum even most of the altcoins I think that's just the similarity, because aside from this I don't see any other similarity.

What about ordi? it's ordinal token. It has very similar supply to the bitcoin. To be honest, it's so damn hard in finding a token that is worth to invest which is having very similar supply to the bitcoin. I think that ordi is one of best thing this time. It has limited supply like bitcoin.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ordi/

It's hard to named another altcoin that has similarity to the bitcoin especially for its total supply. Even if you are using filter on CMC and it will show you a lot of garbage token.

Ordi is the only worthy token to invest this time. Remember this.
Ordi is a token but he only said altcoin, and I think Ordi was also an NFT right? Therefore I doubt it, if he will go for it. I think NFT's have a different mechanism and the OP also said that he want a POS one. BTC is so unique, that is why it's hard to find a coin that is very close to it.

Apart from Ordi, there are still plenty of tokens out there which are also worthy to invest in, disregarding only the same qualities of BTC. We still can grab BTC on the side anyway. I guess that should complete it all? I remember Litecoin is an alt that is said to be like Bitcoin. It is even called as the silver Bitcoin. I guess this was true because it also have a halving. I don't only know if how much its supply but I'm sure it is not POS.

100% Litecoin. If you are looking for similar, then it is litecoin hands down and nothing is as close to bitcoin as litecoin is, nothing will ever get that close. The whole point of Litecoin was to create a bitcoin copy, that would be newer and would be alternative and they did it all the way back in 2011, by comparison bitcoin was started to be used in 2009, and only got a few more people than the close circle of satoshi in 2010, meaning litecoin was right there when bitcoin started.

Maybe you want to hear some brand new coin or token that is coming out so you can buy and get 10000x return and want to be early bird, but that is not the real answer, you are not going to get anything like that, the real answer is litecoin every single time.

I don't think there are any altcoins that are exactly like bitcoin in this regard but check out ADA and ALGO. While these coins don't have a direct halving mechanism like Bitcoin, they are similar due to their fixed supply and PoS consensus.

Cardano (ADA) has a Supply Limit of 45 billion ADA, its Consensus Mechanism is Ouroboros PoS and while there is no explicit halving, the reward distribution decreases over time.

For Algorand (ALGO), there is a Supply Limit of 10 billion ALGO, its Consensus Mechanism is Pure PoS and while there is No explicit halving, the rewards decrease over time.

I have not also seen any altcoin that has the same category with bitcoin. And the gap bitcoin gives to other cryptocurrencies or altcoins is very big. People might say that Ethereum and Solana will be the best option for you to use and if those once are okay with you then, you can go for them and buy they don't have the characteristics of bitcoin  but they are the second and third cryptocurrencies in the crypto market. You can make research on any of those projects people have recommended for you then you choose one and invest in that one.

Bitcoin has saround all the words because they're always doing well all the times which is why many of people's always mentioned them Bitcoin has best crypto currency. But I wonder why people's are talking ETH, as second best of cryptocurrencies or is because they currently now good raises and not only the ETH that are in good condition of pumping now even the Solana are also doing well this days, and now that some altcoin are begin show the signing very soon all the altcoin can definitely fellow up. I don't think you can get a similar supply of game like POS it will be very difficult for now but I don't know in future.

Yeah. This is exactly what I also think. And even with the ETH, I can’t really give them that resemblance because bitcoin is the best crypto currency of all time. So to me, I don’t think there is a cryptocurrency that can get the same movement as bitcoin; there are many features and functionality technically that bitcoin has that many cryptocurrencies lack. But if we are to talk about the second cryptocurrency that we can say will be one of the best cryptocurrencies after bitcoin, I think it should be ETH since many people also believe in it and it has also been in existence for some time now, but I will still give bitcoin its own value as it is still the best.

I also think Ethereum is only the second cryptocurrency in the ecosystem and not having the the same characteristics of bitcoin and if you look well Monero have some elements of bitcoin so as I have said before I will recommend Monero to the Op to check out if it has the similar PoS then he should use it and if the Ethereum you and some users here mentioned is god then he has to follow it.

And Op  can only use a crypto project that has some similar features with bitcoin and not exactly with bitcoin PoS.

Even though there is not a single coin that can match Bitcoin's achievements, in my opinion Ethereum has extraordinary achievements to be able to accompany Bitcoin as the ruler of all coins in the crypto world. Indeed, Bitcoin and Ethereum have very different price differences, but at least ethereum has been able to follow in Bitcoin's footsteps as top 1 CMC and ethereum is in top 2 CMC.

POS coins have different concepts so it would be hard to find any POS with Bitcoin similarities but if you are looking for known POS coins then check Ethereum and Solana.

If you are not satisfied with these two and you still looking for more check other POS coins under this link below.

The link you provide is not opening. The PoS of Ethereum and Solana might have some similarities but the Op is trying to know looking for a coin that have similar limited supply of coins like bitcoin and I don't think anyone or cryptocurrency has that supply limit like bitcoin. The mechanism to verify new transaction in their blockchains.

And if I will recommend anyone which has closed relationship with bitcoin in term of PoS then I will recommend Monero.

BTC forks should be closest to BTC. The best and the most closely related BTC for is Bitcoincash (BCH).
BCH is a SHA-256 mineable coin like Bitcoin and has the same max supply of 21 million, BCH is even better than BTC when it comes to transaction speed and as the price is much lower, the fees too are low. They have halving near the BTC. If you are looking for other mineable POS coins with limited supply, Litecoin is another good option. It's a scrypt but has similar reward halving and limited supply. If you are looking to mine the most profitable coin according to your hardware, a site like https://whattomine.com/ would help.

Another option could be Tezos (XTZ), which also has a fixed supply and operates on a PoS consensus mechanism, though it doesn't have a halving event either.

I think there is no altcoin that you can find an exactly matches all the features of Bitcoin but using PoS. Most PoS coins prioritize different features or mechanisms.
I honestly like Tezos before when it's about staking because it has been stable and has a good price before. But looking at the long term movement of its coin, we're in an upcoming bull run and the price of it has been lower than the launching price of it before years ago.
If someone is still optimistic with this coin, the discounted price of it right now is a good opportunity to take so you can buy more as it's below a dollar right now.

I am not sure there are coins like bitcoin in general. The closest we can get probably is Litecoin which is a proof of work as well. I am not big on technical details but I’m pretty sure the POW mechanism allows for bitcoin to be what it is so looking for something similar to bitcoin with a POS is not that easy to find.

ADA, ETH, and, SOL are some of coins with POS mechanism though not as similar to bitcoin as you might have wanted.

I don’t think it is possible for any altcoin right there to be even half similar to what Bitcoin is or can became due to many factors, even that we can find many other coins replicate Bitcoin in some features, it is totally pointless for investors to invest in them and not invest in Bitcoin, most copied and none original projects fail or turn to be a scam eventually.
The limited supply, PoW, PoS are just mechanisms of each coin designed for it specifically and it is built like that to target and gain people’s interest, why would you need something very similar to Bitcoin that has Halving and you don’t like PoW?

An Altcoin that follows the POS mechanism cannot have a halving mechanism like Bitcoin. You can only choose Altcoins with POS mechanism and limited supply such as Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), Avalanche (AVAX). Bitcoin's POW mechanism seems to be quite outdated and consumes a lot of energy, but in my personal opinion, POW is still the safest mechanism, and Bitcoin is still the top choice instead of trying to find an Altcoin has a mechanism similar to Bitcoin.

Looking for altcoin that are similar to Bitcoin in the market, it will make you to experience some challenges in the future, because the altcoin will not display like the way Bitcoin use to displayed to make others altcoins to start displaying in the crypto market. Do you think Bitcoin will not give you want altcoins will give to you, if you have a huge amount of capital to invest, you can divide the capital to invest in altcoin and invest the remaining on Bitcoin which is the right tactics many investors are using to achieve income from the market. Ethereum is the king among other altcoins which I will like to suggest to you, you can make Ethereum your choice, because whenever the Bitcoin is increasing in the market Ethereum price will be increasing too which many investors have experienced such similarity from Bitcoin and Ethereum.

If you know all that many replicate in all aspects like BTC. If you want to find the closest one besides Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), Tezos (XTZ) namely AVAX.

If I read correctly, on their web AVAX also has the criteria you want as you mentioned above because AVAX has a limited supply and uses a PoS mechanism as well. but remember they are not BTC.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
Want a PoS coin with a mechanism similar to Bitcoin (BTC)? that seems like an impossibility, on average PoS coins have a high inflation rate & also don't have a fixed supply. Even though they don't have a halving mechanism, some coins still have a limited supply even though they use PoS, including Cardano (ADA) & Oasis Network.

Maybe you'll find some other names if you search deeper, but for an altcoins + PoS + fixed supply + halving? believe me, it doesn't exist at the moment. Instead of going through halving, it's better for you to read & understand the tokenomics of the unlock period for altcoins with a limited supply.

Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and in a kingdom we have only one king, which means no one can be like or act like the king. This is how bitcoin is to these altcoins, since they are duplicate of bitcoin and bitcoin is decentralized while most of the altcoins are centralized making it impossible for a PoS coin to be like Pow because the two are different.

It is impossible for you to see such altcoins, so just forget about it.
But that's not what OP was asking, but similarities in coinomics. And honestly these aren't features people even want to copy. Small supply with less decimals isn't very practical for every day smart contract use. I am guessing bitcoin needs to add decimals later on. Not the supply but decimals.

And to answer OP's question. There are many coins with max supply, and i am guessing many of them are PoS. Like cardano for example. It just has more coins (45,000,000,000 with 18 decimals instead of 21 with 8 decimals). And halving in it isn't "halving", but gradual decrease of incentives. And i am sure cardano isn't the only one of doing that either. It's just first one that popped into my mind being a pos and all.

Do you even have any idea what halving is?

You might want to learn more about Proof of work and why halving happens after approximately every 4 years. POS and POW are two totally different consensus mechanisms, and trying to find a POS altcoin similar to Bitcoin that uses POW is something pointless IMO.

If you want altcoin that are almost similar to BTC, try looking at the earlier altcoins on BTC forks, maybe. Beware that some are scam.

I do not think there are any PoS cryptocurrencies quite like Bitcoin when it comes to havings and a limited supply.  That whole thing is tied into Bitcoin's proof-of-work mining structure.

However, some PoS coins do cap the maximum number you can mine.  A few even try to reduce inflation in their own way, just not with the same halving reward thing as Bitcoin.  They might use different systems to increase scarcity over time.  But as far as mimicking Bitcoin's specific economic model, I cant think of any PoS altcoins doing that so far
