The nvidia cards are displayed at much higher prices (1060 @ 340€ with no stock untill 3-4 month / 1070 over 500€)
The Sapphire Nitro + 8GB OC is displayed at 267 € (available under 1 month)
MSI RADEON RX 580 GAMING X+ 8G is displayed at 340€ and no stock.
I think the best choise is the Nitro+ because it is available untill 1 month and has the cheapest price.

I know it's early to speak about Vega cards but it seems that it will be hard to put a moded bios in this cards.
"We flashed BIOS successfully by using a new version of ATIFlash. This was tested by flashing the same BIOS that V56 ships with, just with a different name; unfortunately, even that small of a change is blocked by AMD’s new security features. BIOS now requires a signature, so making a custom BIOS is no longer possible with any reasonable amount of effort. The display refuses to initialize with a modded BIOS – something of a let-down, given AMD’s propensity for boasting its openness and advocacy for users."

The Bios on the Vega is not locked down like it is on Nvidia cards. There WILL be bios modifications for Vega once the driver signature check can be bypassed. The Bios signature check on AMD cards is nothing new. The driver for the Polaris cards also checks the Bios signature. That's why you need to use the pixel patcher with RX 4XX and 57X cards with a modded Bios.
No 1060 is going to match a RX 580 in profitability. I get 29 MH/s on ETH and 930 MH/s DCR dual mining for a daily profit of $2 per card currently.

Those articles are just click bait from people that don't know what they are talking about. Anybody that been around new card or mining algorithm releases knows it's WAY to early to make a judgment on Vega. Just like ANY new card, there are no tweaked Bios settings or miners currently. Even with the limited support ATM, some have been able to reach 42 MH/s. I think we will see 50 MH/s+ pretty soon once people that know what they are doing can figure it out.
For an RX 580, I vote for the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB. Best card I've had. STABLE with 2250 MH/s memory clock and ZERO HW errors. MSI Gaming X+ are also very good cards, the same cards Angry Chicken used in his 11 GPU ETH rig.

I agree with Vann, the sapphire nitro's are probably the best 580's... Personally i'm a fan of single fan blowers.. So I had 12 8GB MSI Rx580's, single fan blower model..until I sold them to renovate the farm with 1080 ti's. However, if i can render any advice..If you're building your first rig.. go with Nvidia chipset.. my GTX 1060's were doing the same numbers as my 580's after a small modification to core/mem. And they put up great equihash numbers, quiet, efficient..
