Bitcoin FTW!
I've always used Bitcoinwisdom.io for prices at a quick glance as well, cryptowat.ch may also work for tab price viewing though I don't like the platform as much as I like Bitcoinwisdom.

Also make sure you're using the .io Bitcoinwisdom now and not the .com site. The latter broke after not being updated for a while and hasn't been fixed for a few months now, though the .com site is the original.

Have you heard about rainmeter and use some skin like this one below.
I got skin from here https://visualskins.com/skin/cryptocurrency-tracker

This is cool. I use Rainmeter on my PC and they don't use that much resource even if I use a lot of widget.
Will definitely check this out.

Edit: just installed it. Work perfectly fine. If you know some Rainmeter coding you can add more variants on your own.

Please, I want suggestions about what better widget ticker bitcoin and alts to view always on top window...

I use Microsoft Windows 10 Home in my PC.

And my Phone is Android.

Not using any widget app on my Desktop since it's quite annoying for me if it will be placed "always" on the top window. However, I'm using browsing tabs @BitcoinWisdom so I still have some live feed of the price while I'm working on the other tabs.

In Android, I used @BitcoinTicker widget. It supports several exchanges. You can cover your home screen with lots of widgets too from different exchanges lol.

P.S Only limited to BTC-any fiat currency pair

Lol I actually considered purchasing a Macbook Pro in the past just for this. It looks cool but it doesn't look something that would help me though. Instead of actually working I would just stare at the prices(especially in a huge uptrend like this month).
It might not be helpful for you but for traders out there, this kind of display where you can able to look at on prices without any scrolling or going into your screen
is really a convenient thing.Im even surprised that this is possible on a MAC which i didnt expect and maybe its time to buy one. lol

The GitHub repo posted is not by the original author and I wouldn't trust downloading random extensions like this. You never know what happens in the background.
I mean, it is open source.. But yea I guess not everyone can read code anyway.

Also, if you're using a Macook Pro with the touch bar above the keyboard: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMarkets/comments/6u1635/view_latest_crypto_prices_on_your_macbook_pros/
Holy cow, I've never seen anything like that!  Not that I'm a bit tech guy, but I used to use a stock ticker widget on an old PC back in 2006 or so, and I always had to adjust the windows so I could actually see it.

That's the extent of my knowledge about tickers.  I've since learned that if you're watching the price of something with that much regularity--and the bitcoin market is 24/7--you're looking at it too much.  But I certainly understand the appeal, and I'm not judging.  I'm only speaking for myself.  With the recent crazy price movements, I probably ought to be checking bitcoin's price more frequently than I am, even though I don't own a hell of a lot.

OP, good luck with trading or whatever it is you're doing.

That is actually very cool. However, it is risky for applications like this to modify your default touch-bar settings. The GitHub repo posted is not by the original author and I wouldn't trust downloading random extensions like this. You never know what happens in the background.

If you're looking for something for desktop, then I managed to find BitTab (Windows only). You have some for Android as well but they don't look that good IMO.

I guess you could start by saying what operating system you're actually using..

Anyway, I'm not sure about Windows, but there are available bitcoin/crypto widgets on Linux KDE and on Ubuntu. I've used a few in the past but ultimately removed it because it was too distracting. If you're using Linux, just use your distro's widget search.
