Noticed the Tweet as well, it is nice, too much bad media right now.  I only like bad media if Gox is up and running lol

"WikiLeaks believes that Bitcoin is a very promising censorship resistant currency and that people should support it in practice and in principle. Bitcoin will eventually need to be augmented with a sub currency that has fixed time spend retractability if it is to be successful as a safe storage (as well as exchange) currency for the average person, but this is a minor criticism compared to Bitcoins many emancipating benefits.

Nicely said!

This is a tweet in respond to an article here, http://www.theatlanticwire.com/technology/2011/06/bitcoin-eff-wikileaks-fsf-donations/39055/  which cited Wikileak's cashing out on donated coins.

I looked into the donated address, and see that it received 180 bitcoins so far, since 6/14. I think it's a good start, and just donated a small sum myself. The address is here: 1HB5XMLmzFVj8ALj6mfBsbifRoD4miY36v. (really.. I swear it's not mine  Grin)
