It's not even stated on their donation page either. If you click on the donate to wikipedia link on the left it's nowhere to be seen there either. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

If bitcoin isn't on their main donation page then why would they even put it next to Paypal? There's plenty of other ways you can donate to them but they're not all listed so I'm guessing they just put the most popular options.
It looks that they don't expect to many donations from bitcoin users.
Hopefully, this will change over time and bitcoin will take the lead
, however I think you are right but if they will add the bitcoin button donation in the first page they (wikipedia) will receive a lot of donation 
( That's sure).
