I told you guys, when Wilder tap that ass, Breazeale will go to queer street.  Grin

However, I didn't expect that the destruction will be on the first round though. It looks like Breazeale was there for the paycheck and the moment Wilder hits him, he doesn't want to go on. Although he tried to get up but it was just futile. No need to blame the referee, it was a right stoppage because Breazeale will be hurt more as the fight progresses.
I mean this is really non necessary to brag about winning when odds are 10-1  Wink

Lol, I'm not bragging, but as boxing fans, we all see what's coming on Breazeale.

All the hype and stuff prior to the fight, nah, maybe they threw some casual fans out there to buy some tickets, but not us though. Time to bring the next big heavyweight event, Joshua vs Wilder.

See this is what I am talking about Dominic Breazeale cannot even block a simple right hook from Deontay Wilder and he is looking like Nostradamus for saying that he wanted to "hurt Breazeale so bad", he did what he asked for but I could not say it's a win for Wilder even if the fans got rowdy with the KO. In my opinion this match is similar to Canelo Alvarez taking on Rocky Fielding except Wilder is more overpowered than his opponent, and he really didn't prove anything at the end except for hurting an unworthy opponent.

Correct, was a mismatch, although we all know that sooner or later Dominic Breazeale will fold, it was unexpected to end this fight that quick. So I guess want everyone wanted to see is the big three fighting each other out, AJ vs Wilder should be next though. I do hope that those managers will really work this one out so that we can see Heavyweight boxing like the 80's or 90's.

That was just nasty. It was only the first round but Breazeale was moving like they were already in the later rounds. Other fighters would not have been able to get up with that clean and powerful shot.

True.  Breazeale was given a chance because he had almost a clean record before this fight. This didn't mean that he's a good enough fighter to take on Wilder.
The first round was a surprise but this wasn't like he came for the money and did not put up any fight. That hit by Wilder was perfect with a left setup and very hard clean right follow. Watch it in slow motion and you'll see how fast and hard that was.

~snip~

Exactly, a Dillian Whyte would be more attracted though, if Fury or AJ is not available. But fighting with  Breazeale? Nah, it looks like this is a mis-match for me. And trying to hype the fight by saying he wanted to kill someone in the ring? It just backfired on him and he lost a lot of respect by saying that. He and Fury should settle everything, but I guess we won't see that fight anymore as their managers or promoters right now won't allow that fight to happen.

Well that was much quicker then most people thought
It seems the losing Breazeale was arguing that he was not hurt which  was clearly false.
Maybe we will now get to see Wilder & Fury 2.
He is hurt that's for sure, when he try to get up, his legs are shaking. But what a right hand, Wilder threw it with bad intent and he really wanted to put a hurt on Breazeale. I'm sure for those who bought the ticket and buy the hype, it was a disappointment because the fight is done within seconds.

Breazeale is a bum, it was always going to be an easy win for Wilder. The fight everybody wants is Wilder vs Joshua but I think Wilder vs Fury will happen first.
Wilder always faces bums to pack his win column, the old legit fighter he faced was an aging Luis Ortiz and it went till the tenth round and we all know what happened in the Tyson Fury fight, he was out boxed the entire fight and even after that knock out punch he was getting starched, he is looking for Joshua as he is the money fight and i am not sure he will face Fury again  Cheesy.

What do you expect from Wilder?? 40 wins (41 this time after the fight), no loses, 1 draw and 39 (40 now) of his fights he won are by the way of a knockout. His huge arms are like a big steel ball that will make you knock out. Take note that 20 of his knockouts right now came from the first round. Its 50% of his total knockout.

I watched it on youtube. I'm expecting a part 2 of Fury and Tyson Smiley.

Right, we already know that this is indeed a mismatch from the very beginning. He was clearly hurt, he is wobbling so it's a good call from the referee. But I doubt we will see Wilder & Fury 2, too much boxing politics involved.

This is ridiculous or just easy money for those who will bet on Wilder. High risk high reward for those who go against him but for me i have to close my eyes here for that 10 percent return on my money.

Bet 1 btc and profit for easy .1 btc  Wink Odds for the opposite side is very appealing but we know on whose gonna face down on the canvass.

Yeah, but anything could happen. We see sometimes results turns to be opposite of what is expected, so i would never invest such a big amount in a single match.

Deontay Wilder won the fight.

But.. but in one f***g round. It was a mismatch as everyone has expecting it to be, but in one round?  Grin

Wilder was a lot stronger than Breazeale and this could be find already on many betting sites too where Wilder is  favorite with a big margin. I think this was an easy pick.

I am a naturally born and raised Filipino and that may be a very simple explanation of why I love boxing. But this guy here (wilder) was very aggressive with his statement. And almost 90% of aggressive people are losing fights in any kind of games and competition. I have realized that attitude really does well with regards to winning the game. Because the reason why their previous match was a draw is that they almost have the same capability.

But, I can also tell that boxes became entertainment. So there is a big chance that they will manipulate the fight and will let Breazeale win in the ring. These are my opinions but we will see the result soon.

I only want to see this man Wilder compete again if the man standing opposite him in the great Tyson Fury
Who is this Breazeale they picked up off the streets or someone we dont know.
There is a reason for these high odds so easy to predict what the outcome will be.

Nope not happening. They wanted to bring more hype and obviously more money in the table before we can see them both in the ring again.

But it will take a lot of negotiations if ever they wanted a rematch. Fury has aligned himself with Bob Arum, and we all know how Bob doesn't like to work with other promoters or boxers. He wanted all the money in-house.

So now we see Wilder fighting a bum, just to make easy money. I'm not really sure about the split but he obviously will take the lion share here. I don't expect the fight to last and it's gonna be less than ten rounds.

Well this is a big step down compared to Wilder's match against Tyson Fury even though this match was mandatory he could atleast face more deserving boxers like his fellow american Jarrell Miller or even Dillian Whyte just to prove a point. Agreeing on a match with a man who isn't even in the Top 10 is like accepting a fight just for formality and longevity of his belt. Wilder really needs to step up if he wants to face Anthony Joshua one day and he won't reach it just by fighting nobodies in the ring.

I'm not familiar with Breazeale, need to check his boxrec.
Me too lol. But well, that was understandable because he's an underdog Grin.

I'm excited to watch Wilder inside the ring once again. Actually, I'm more hoping to Wilder vs Fury 2 or at least Wilder vs Joshua (the most awaited fight of course). Anyway, since we're already here, let's see what Breazeale got; 8-1 record is not a joke in all fairness.

But I'm sure that Wilder has all the tools to beat this guy in my opinion. Wilder has is so heavy that I will assume that when he touches that ass, Breazeale will be in queer street.

Wilder by KO/TKO mid to 10 rounds.
Breazeale fought and lost to Anthony Joshua in 2016 and that is the first time he step up fighting big names, unfortunately he fell short. He I guess he will be a long shot here. I wouldn't say a live dog because he doesn't have the same competition as Wilder or the rest of the big names in HW class, Joshua and Fury. So Wilder will be the clear favorite to win here.

May 18, 2019 at Barclays Center, New York

I'm sure that boxing fans are familiar with Deontay Wilder. He and Tyson Fury had a good fight in December, wherein it ended in a draw, it was controversial though. But the rematch didn't push through as both are hurling accusations as who is stalling the fight.

Breazeale open as 8-1 underdog.

And to put hype around the fight,

https://www.boxingscene.com/wilder-no-regrets-over-saying-breazeale-die-on-saturday--139049

Quote
WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is not concerned with the backlash over his recent statements regarding the upcoming fight with Dominic Breazeale.

Wilder alarmed reporters on Tuesday, when he told them that he was still trying to get a "body on his record."

He will make a mandatory defense against Breazeale on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

They've been involved in a scuffle in previous year, but I think Wilder went on board with this statement though.
