can I just store them offline with no os then just plug to a pc whenever im ready to spend or are you thinking  for cellphone use..i don't use cellphones much

You can certainly store a wallet file on that size of USB, however a bootable OS with a lite client would be a stretch. One could start with tiny core linux http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/downloads.html - then install extra software on it.

If you want to sell them, just sell them as 256MB drives, you don't need to make promises about what people can do with them.

the reason for asking is bc I have a dozen lot ready to sell on e bay or bitmit if they are not workable for me ,otherwise I will use these as cold storage wallets  *also gifts predloded w low expense ) got free iin a bin of junk - don't wabt to unpackage then find the answer isNO

Will 256 mb usb be enough to hold a LITE client? ..i a ready know a full client needs at least 16 gig or 32 gig for future scaling…what about a lite client…whats minimum needed for a flash drive?
