The fate of the cryptocurrency ecosystem will pretty much be the same there's no relation between that two and it's really different from each other. What's great about the cryptocurrency market is that when you have some losses on the stock market, you have the cryptocurreny market to back you up and help you regain that loss if you play the game right.

I am sure that if stock market crashes, this market will crash harder and I think this kind of crash will happen in 2018. Most people will probably say good bye to their money.

I've been hearing for years that the stock market is going to crash. Sure, it'll crash eventually, but you might waste your whole life trying to time it. If the market really does crash (like 2008 or potentially much worse), then I think this will be very bad for cryptocurrency values. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are extremely risky and speculative; during times of economic turmoil, people turn to safe assets. I don't think cryptocurrencies have achieved enough consumer confidence yet to compete with traditional safe haven assets.

Totally agree. Probably today they seem to be connected on wether what platform they came from but maybe in time each of them now will have there own blockchain. That you will not use them only on its server site. But off course think of it as a fiat money where some money is dominant and other economies would depend on the larger currency. But there are countries who could stand alone that they really dont need other currencies to measure there own wealth.

When we are talking about stocks it has really nothing to do with alt currencies and as you said its possible that they would create their own blockchain but would not really dependent on it but its hard to think off that they would switch into that side and i would really bet that they would really stick on traditional ways sticking into fiat itself.

It's a hypothetical scenario and very unlikely to happen in real life. I would say atlcoins would rise in price since people would be looking for ways to recover their losses but most people are smart enough to know that market doesn't crash like that, so there is nothing to worry about for another 3 years. that's my opinion. They also predicted that it would crash in 2016 which never happened but people dump when they hear those kind of news and they take advantage of that opportunity.

If everything were to happen this way and people needed to purchase crypto how many would understand it or could the existing websites and companies handle that much volume that quickly? I think about this often.

They aren't correlated at all, alt markets are still in their infancy, most icos still don't even have a product, if somethings gonna happen i would guess the exact opposite

A crash in the regular market would most likely help the crypto market! What you need to be on the look out of is a crash or a correction in the crypto market, that's not out of the question!

most of the times these "anticipations" about market crashes, financial doomsdays,... are bullshit. people always expect them to happen and most of the times they never happen (i say most because even a broken clock is correct twice a day).

and no they won't affect altcoin market one bit. the alts will always remain the same old pump an dump thing.
but it may affect bitcoin market as it may be seen as a safe haven if such crashes happen.

When you invest in the shares of companies you are insured against the collapse of the value of real assets. Yes, you can return all the money, but some of the funds you will return after the sale of the company. When investing in crypto currencies you may not get anything.
