yes i really sympathize with you. We are also ranking Jr.member and we are denied to work with signature campaigns. That really brings us tremendous difficulties.
But the law is the law, we must try to improve the quality of our article. There will be no other way. But that gives us a really reliable forum and a good environment for us to grow our economy.

Do not worry about it, Keep calm , Keep Posting and Keep doing the good work.
It will be unfair for us to accept defeat within the very first few days . If not today then tomorrow your good work will be recognized.

I see so difficult to get sMerit, I think will forever be Jr.Member. Indeed to get sMerit posts must be qualified and useful. Well, because we are new so that our post of course lower quality compared with those who are experienced.

In addition Jr.Member also blocked from Signature.

Our hope vanished.

What should we do?

Sorry, if I have to complain in this matter. This rule is good to avoid scam. But this rule is sad for low ranking.

In giving sMerit I see unfair. If Newbie rankings make posting even if high quality is often overlooked.

Sorry if I speak not polite or my writing is wrong, so it is difficult to understand.

I understand how you feel mate Sad I am also in a a low rank a newbie. I think it's difficult now to rank up. What if you tried your best to post quality post but no one will still not notice your effort.

I love it lower ranks encouraging each other yet higher ranks tend to bully.

Not bullying, constructive critisism - you can take it how you will

3 decent posts in this thread, Mine, Pharmacist and Hilarious.

lets look at them further

1, its obvious that English isn't your first language, so I struggle to see what value you can add to a signature campaign on an English speaking forum
2, you need to learn, read the threads in this forum.
3, try your local language boards - you might be better off there
4, until your English improves and you are more knowledgeable then you wont be being paid for your sig.

I point out issues above, this may not come across as pleasant or positive, but people need to realize just dropping drivel into a conversation doesn't add any value

1, its obvious that English isn't your first language, so I struggle to see what value you can add to a signature campaign on an English speaking forum
I agree with this.  As an aside, is there a new trend with numbered lists in posts now or what?

I've heard you can accumulate merit points on the local boards, which sounds like a much more feasible option than trying to do it in English, if you suck at English.  Never visited them so I can't attest to the truth of that.

Me, I'm not handing out any merit for any non-English-writing member here.  I waited way too long for a system like this, and it appears to be working for its purpose.  You can't see me, but I'm actually tapdancing around my living room because of it, with a huge ear-to-ear grin that just won't go away.   Kiss

the above agrees with me so of course he is right.. well that s a stretch, but he is pointing out the fact that the system works.
Well, because we are new so that our post of course lower quality compared with those who are experienced.

Then get some experience first. If your posts are lower quality then you shouldn't be even getting paid for them in the first place.

I do not really understand English.
I apologize if it is wrong.
Thank you for reminding me.

This is the exact problem the merit system is intended to fix. Before it people who can't even write or understand English would sign up in droves with multiple accounts and just shitpost or copy and paste until they hit the required rank to join a campaign. Once they did their posts never magically got better. Now with the merit system this behaviour has naturally been stopped. If you don't really understand English then stick to your own local board as that what it's there for.

yet again, pointing out the issue.

if you younger members cannot contribute value then you do not deserve any "pat on the back's"

sorry fella it might be hard reading for someone wanting to "level up" and earn some BTC.. but the reality is this place is changing and in a good way

In fact, you write good and insightful articles, and the chances of getting Merit are not high!

Because the Merit system requires some steps, some people don't want to do it.

Many people will not add Merit to others, which causes many people to be unable to upgrade!

You will definitely not been stucked at your current rank. Constructives posts lead to donated Merits. Don't worry too much. Let's compose good posts first, then waiting to see good news and merits will come to your account.

We won't really be stuck in Jr.Member or Member rank,
We just have to learn and make sure that our post is meaningful or helpful for the forum,
The Merit system is made up to lessen the spammers .

If you don't have enough confidence for the quality of your post then you will be forever on that rank. Yes its hard of course for all the newbies but don't rush things because its an indication that you just want to ranked up so you can join signature campaign and make money. Enjoy the process, learn more about this forum or in cryptocurrency so you can make great profit in the future.

That is one of the most amazing effects of merit system for our forum's users. They will be more skilled, at least in terms of English writing skill. Is it good or bad? Actually good, right?

For someone who really want to get high IELTS band-score, this is also a good opportunity for them to practice. The forum is not a perfect place for them, simply because this one is not a academic forum.

Think possitive, write better, help our forum cleaned faster.

Nó, actually not. You have to write 60 posts at least to get 60 activities. I don't think that if you write 60 high qualified posts, you won't get at least 5 merits. Do you what I mean? You might write 100 posts before getting 10 merits from 10 users or even lower. That's ok. I think.

As for the question of O.P no you will not be forever Jr.Member or Member. You can accumulate merit points by posting relevant answer to a question it is not that easy to understand, as for the suggestion of TMAN stick for a while in your local boards you might learn something there that could be helpful for you to post necessary thread/topic.

By being exposed in English language everyday you will perceive it you can anticipate whether a post is a garbage or trash, and try not to respond to that topic/thread.

P.S Although your post is in the right section so I deem you understand how the forum works.

I've heard you can accumulate merit points on the local boards, which sounds like a much more feasible option than trying to do it in English, if you suck at English.
Not only that, but speaking a language other than English could actually be a ticket to becoming a merit source:
If you want to be a merit source:

 1. Be a somewhat established member.
 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread.
 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.

I am especially eager to have merit sources in sub-communities such as the local sections.

Ive addopted the numbered list system

1) Because its easy to understand
2) Because the Scammers seem to do it - I like to speak the language they understand
3) I cant remember why else but there was a reason..

and yes.. it is making me smile that the system is working

nothing wrong with not understanding English fella, but the entitlement to earn BTC from posting here when you do not have a grasp of the main language is a little puzzling to me.

This is one of the main reasons for the introduction of the Merit system. This is not a racist comment before any of the butthurt Farmers/Trolls/Sig spammers chime in. This is a fact.
