I'm sure bitcoin will still run and can be improved without china if most states legalize bitcoin and another cryptocurrency. it took some time to provide a first crypto education to the younger generation and will slowly be legalized by several major countries.

Bitcoin is not only in china, there are many countries that use it, and many people invest with bitcoin, and in my opinion bitcoin will keep running as there are still many countries that support it.

No way, in the international market many countries other than China are participating and using the platform of bitcoin so it will not die because of China. Other sources are there to increase the popularity and usage of bitcoin so wouldn't be a problem without China

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?

It will only slow down the progress of bitcoin in a short period of time but for totally dying the bitcoin it is impossible. med of 2017 china announce they will ban bitcoin and other crypto currency it cause massive sell down but after a couple of weeks it rebounds and continuously surge.

Bitcoin doesn't just exist in one country but to a lot of it, basically global with investors all over the world. So no, bitcoin won't die because of china. Though china may have contributed to bitcoin but it doesn't actually hold a huge part of it. It may har an effect on bitcoin but it would just be minimal.

I think bitcoin will not be affected. I mean Bitcoin users are not just Chinese nation and even the whole world every country its people must know what bitcoin is. I'm sure it will not have any impact because one country forbids it.

Based on a lot of information that china is the biggest bitcoin user, if their government banned bitcoin then user will go and transfer bitcoin assets to family or friends in other countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan or more that accept bitcoin.

I don't believe that can happen to bitcoin just because of China. A lot of different big bitcoin players still in game and they are really strong.
Agree that with or without china then bitcoin will be like this, everything will improve and the price will not be stopped because the number of users other than china is bigger, if there is a price reduction I'm sure it will not be long because many countries will receive bitcoin like japan, korea south and so on.

such a large country as China does influence the development of Bitcoin in the World, but not because a rule in the country of China could cause the death of Bitcoin around the World. because in fact Bitcoin actors in the world are very influence on the life of death of Bitcoin it.

The more the governments and the regulators tried to put a squeeze on bitcoin, the more we see that bitcoin is actually resilient. So don't worry about China. Bitcoin will never die because of China.

i am always positive that Bitcoin will stay no matter China or Indonesia or other country ban bitcoin. It was  strongly established and been successful and many countries are into bitcoin. I believe it will evolve more as the financial world is adapting to cryptocurrencies because the world is moving forward everyday. Yes bitcoin can stand without government intervention though it will become more acceptable if it is regulated by the government to prove its legality to the public.

China boycott has already given huge space for Japan to come up as CC leader. It was after China ban that in Dec 2017, BTC touched 20k USD. It doesn't matter whether some country is in favor or against CC.

Bitcoin does not die from China. Bitcoin is global in nature, and it does not refer to China transactions. China banned the bitcoin  fair influence on the bitcoin , but does not make bitcoin death, it will have bad effect on the bitcoin , the bitcoin of the prices, but will get well soon

I think that China's withdrawal from this world's web will reduce the price of many coins, but it's impossible to really kill Bitcoin and other Altkoins.

Never, China doesn't ban bitcoin its just regulated it. And it never gonna end up bitcoin because it's a decentralised digital cryptocurrency which can't end up by banning a particular country. Bitcoins life is in hand of bitcoiners or a bitcoin consumer.

Bitcoin will not die because of china, it may affect it somehow but it can't kill it. Bitcoin is here to stay, the technology it has will be the future of money but great things will take time.
