With social integration with 4.0 technology. The ban on bitcoin at this time is absolutely foolish, because people believe in bitcoin, it helps them improve their lives, create jobs, eliminate unemployment, earn huge profits for businesses. , helping to promote economic development of a country.

bitcoin is spreading all over the world. but there are some banned countries such as Russia and other countries ... so bitcoin can be banned and disappear. Because bitcoin is a virtual currency and it changes constantly. There are many people who invest in it.

The more investors are getting unto it  is the more bitcoin get more stronger because of this whaler investors. Therefore, Bitcoin will be hard for them to ban it because of its strong features which is decentralization.

Please note that at the beginning there was a strong reaction against internet, as something that could harm national security....

The same reaction was to the computers, television and even books! So it's natural that people doesn't like something innovative.

It definitely cannot be stopped, but looking at how the government in India is calling Bitcoin a Ponzi while giving clear chit to companies like Qnet. It might get banned.

But can it be stopped, definitely not. Something on internet cannot be stopped.

Don't think it will be full on ban, probably just new regulations introduced to the crypto space, as governments like keeping control over everything.

Yes, for sure the government can do anything. They can ban bitcoin, in fact some of the countries in the world did it. China banned their people using cryptocurrency, but I don't think people can be stopped.

I wonder either, when I discovered the update about that, and presently I have got to understand that some bitcoin forum has been blocked, its not sounding funny. I hope it be rectified soon anyway.if this is a treath from the governments at the leading countries of bitcoin I guess with tax payment it should be solved.

well I don't think Bitcoin will get banned maybe that was just as threat from the bank because they knew Bitcoin getting widely known in some places like India.. you know business competitor they were afraid they would lose client that's why they made that action, but as for banning bitcoin that never happen because many are now getting interested to invest and save in it, not only they will think will profit them more but it safer than in the bank.

it's been a lot of issues related to banning of bitcoin and some countries do not approve bitcoin as an investment but who cares as long as we spend personal money for bitcoin investment will keep running. bitcoin runs because of us as bounty hunters and investors to increase the value of bitcoin in the eyes of the world

Governments don't like bitcoin, cause they don't have any control of it. If banks will adopt blockchain in their infrastructure, than there is a high chance that they will try to limit influence bitcoin and introduce thier own national or international currency.
Even if they will try to reduce usage of it, they is no way of ban totally bitcoin. There is no law that allows to do that (yet ...).

Governements are waking up, and they will try everything to stop bitcoin.
But I think it will be practically impossible

Well, may be bitcoin will be banned in shops (i.e. in Ecuador).
But I don't see how it will possible to stopping it online

No. The longer this goes on, the more popular and stronger bitcoin gets. And government won't be able to quell the demand for btc ao banning it i think will be out of the question for countries that have a huge bitcoin following

I don't see banning of bitcoin becoming a reality.
They may try, especially in my country, CBN kind of isn't speaking well about bitcoin. But it is evident that it is beyond their reach to close it down.
This act in itself will almost present any government seeking that done as anti-people.
Can internet be stopped?
What of the other useful applications that became born as part of blockchain technology?
What will become of companies which have invested heavily into cryptocurrency currencies by big investors? Won't they fight back?
These and other questions can lead us to some useful conclusion.
The possibility of banning it is next to nought.

Many might already have read about this in the past one week.

One of my friend who works at one of the bitcoin BTC company in india has confirmed to me that he has indeed heard his exec manager talking about an official notice which government has sent out to them to submit the details of business after which there is tensed atmosphere in office.

I however have not been able to confirm if this was a full ban notice or an audit notice from government.

What do you think about it. ??

I think No , bitcoin as of now , the bitcoin is growing , Why would it ban? , and it's increasing though , it's just illegal on other countries , but I think bitcoin would not be ban. Many investors and businessman , entrepreneur and so all are investing here in bitcoin.

But if bitcoin ban , there is one reason I think , the reason is bankrupt  or it became , or suddenly vanish.

It is not very likely that they will succeed - but of course they may try, at least in some countries. I think Zimbawe already tried. The result is that Bitcoin is now more expensive there.

Maybe, there is a possibility, but not for all countries,in some other countries as far as I know bitcoin is already banned. In other countries as what I heard bitcoin is illlegal. There is a possibility that it will be banned because government is not earning taxes or cannot get tax in bitcoin.but in the furture goverment will get some tax rulls definitly.bcz if not there stock market will get down.

At the current rate i don't think it can be stopped anymore. Its only during a fall and outburst of normal people will the coin be banned.

Surely, governements will try to stop somehow; but due to the very nature of bitcoin, it will be pretty impossible.
They can only stop bitcoin use in usual economy, not in deep web

The more they stop is when the more expensive it becomes. History is the answer, whatever has been banned and legal in some places is really expensive to get hands on.

The main problem or cause I can see if it's anonymity; governments can't track down Its users and thus even criminals can evade detection. That's why, I believe, Russia is planning to create Its own cryptocurrency known as the Rubblecoin to deal with this threat. Even China is very critical on Bitcoin, with strict laws on it. But Bitcoin will continue going strong.

More than anonymity, i believe governments are more afraid due to the transparency in this transactional technology which will not allow various governments to get away with the scams.

Its only the major countries like the USA, China and most of the EU that when they do indeed ban bitcoin will be very bad for the bitcoin economy because it is going to drive the value down and as far as i am concern, OP is just creating FUD and their is nothing to show that bitcoin is going to get banned in India.

Think bit. How this can be possible. Government can ban that company by puting regulations. How they ban bitcoin. For example, I have botcoing an i need to sent it to u. I get ur address and send it to u directly (p2p). How government ban that. If they ban exchangers we can store bitcoin in hardware wallets. So i think its proberbly a audit for introduce new tax 😆😆😆😆

I doubt that the US will ever ban Bitcoin or ever be able to pass the legislation to do so if they (US govt) ever attempts to. It's literally an intangible, digital thing that really could never be fully stopped or shut down. I think it would actually be entirely unconstitutional, because who is anybody to say that people are not allowed to trade an intangible digital item that technically has no real value?

Outright ban it? And risk people going underground to use it? I don't think even the Indian government is that stupid. If they completely ban bitcoins, those with money in local exchanges could just move those to other exchanges and continue trading and then convert is to cash f2f. Now they'll find it harder to track the money.

Well, India did ban certain banknotes to help "fight" money laundering and tax evasion that's what they are planning to do with bitcoins. Though it seems they just want more control of the finances and gov'ts always like more money in banks anyway.
