Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
Bitcoin may not go that low again though speculators are saying that bitcoin is going towards $1500. I think bitcoin is going to grow more than bearish.  I was trying to review some of the chart pattern that has developed this year in relationships with what happened in 2016 and 2014 and one thing that I noticed in common is that there were more positive event at the end of the year and that always transmitted to positive price outlook at the end of the presiding years.  I think next year is going to be a bullish year and those that takes the risk of buying now are going to make money in years to come.

To buy more coins?
Certainly  Grin

I guess Bitcoin price should controlled by the miners nor the traders or the whales or the market. The miners are producing the coins hence the miners should be the one who would control the price.
I think you wrongly guess in this platform because already more than half of the Bitcoins are mined in current scenario so traders are occupy the more demand and this manipulation is unexpectedly happened in the market so we will wait and see the future journey. But I guess 3k USD is impossible so we will see some positive result.

It is possible to drop below $3000 but as what others have said there's no have reason for it to drop that price unless there's something happen instantly. Don't be assured on what we have now because it might lead into something we don't want to happen or vise versa. I mean be alert all the time if there's anything changes occur, analyze it and never let it aside because even if it small it might have a huge impact.

I am sure that the price of Bitcoin will experience a positive change. the bad phase is over and now we will face a change that is far better. Bitcoin prices have been declining for several weeks now and we are all trying to give a positive stigma. I am very optimistic that when we use Bitcoin more often then we can see the price of Bitcoin increasing again. Bitcoin prices are very dependent on demand factors, so rates are used Bitcoin and we can gain momentum to make a profit.

That is possible.  Looking forward next month where BAKKT is scheduled to be launched, there are lots of speculation about Bitcoin increasing in price.  So investors tends to at least have a share of cheap Bitcoin and thinking to enjoy the profit when it come true.

Possibility is possibility, so yes there is a chance for Bitcoin to go below $3k.  Just pray that whales and manipulators have not accumulated enough else there is no way for BTC but to go up in price.

The actual price isn't really interesting for miners essentially the smaller ones. Turning off their miners will lead to a drop of the difficulty most likely that will allow them to start over again. However, this cycle isn't as good as it looks for traders nor investors that joined recently our crypto world...

I'm hoping not to fall to $3000 because it will push the crypto into a worst level with continuously bleeding. Although this will depends on the demand and buy support we have and hopefully we can see a good price in the coming days.

Directly to the reason you know why yesterday had dropped below 4K and now on above that,it's likely that it won't happen if it's under 3K cause it will definitely be pushed if it falls in the range of 3k-4K.Its likely that the BTC value will continue to grow for the ALT needs,so my opinion under 3K will not occur.

Nothing’s impossible and certain in crypto community since this is volatile market so things might happen ,or might not..but i am not closing the possibilities that we will go under $3,000 for bottoming but let us take this as an opportunity and not negativity,if this happens let’s purchase the amount we can afford for the profit of the near future

There's a chance for bitcoin to go below $3k it there's no demand and if buyers is outnumbers by sellers. Or if another FUD comes along that will make people panic and push the sell button. Right now though it looks like the price is going up again and might test $4300 so let's see how it goes. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes down because I believed that we need one more downtrend before the bull-run. The Bakkt offerings is pushed in 2019 so I'm speculating that prior to the Bakkt going live we might see another  the price moves lower over a period of time, most probably before the end of the year.

yes it exists and I believe that if reach below  $3000 would be for a short time and the price would recover soon back to $3500 or $3700

If yes then what will be the main reason for it?

lack of demand and people are disillusioned but because they themselves deceived themselves and did not prepare psychologically for such a fall. Last year people bought bitcoin with the expectation that the price would be 2x, 3x 4x. they had high expectations, the price began to fall and people always kept saying, "Hold your coins because the price will increase," and the such specialists continued to make predictions of absurd prices and of course people still hoped that the price would increase, and at the end of the year was something like: "the last chance to see the price increase a lot: something that did not happen, so the people are starting to sell their currencies, because there really is nothing at the moment that causes the price to increase 2x, 3x, or 4x. what's left for people is sell

Maybe we will see bitcoin reaching the 3000$ bottom by the last quarter of 2019, it will be the bottom and bitcoin will start a new bul run after that.

I think you might have missed to place 1 or 2 before placing 3k. 2019 will be a better year and infact the 2018 might be also better than its present situation as December is still left and things might change for better in Dec for 2018. With that start 2019 might also move upwards and ends with 5 digit mark and not reaching 3k levels.

I think that it's going to just be a short term rebound.

There are really two possibilities, one is that BTC prices stay put at around $4k and that would be support, or prices go down further. I do not think that in the short run, there are any reasonable prospects for bitcoin to have a bullish breakout.

Got your point.

it wouldn't be able to stay below that level for long due to the demand for cheap coins that would form.

However, this is a direct contradiction to your point, that Bitcoin won’t stay below $3000 for long. As per market sentiments, If demand of cheap/altcoins is to rise, then it won’t be too rude to say that bitcoin’s time is limited.
That, of course, is what I could make of your reply, if the case be any different, request you to please elaborate.
start accumulating at a regular basis at this point so that your entry/buy price can be nicely averaged out across this period of bearishness, which has shown to be quite profitable given that you have sufficient patience to wait for the recovery which I don't see happening this year.
Couldn’t agree more.

I hope the price will not become lower to 3000 dollars because that is not nice for us if we are going to see bitcoin price become lower the value. We need to pump bitcoin now before it's too late because if that continue we will lose more money that we invested.

The world isn't fair so "it would not be nice" isn't going to help you.
"before it's too late because if that continue we will lose more money that we invested." sounds like you are panicking. Other than that there are a lot of people still at a profit.

Sit back and enjoy the ride. Forget your coins for 6 months and then you will most likely be at a good profit.  Cool

Previously the price of Bitcoin will not fall below the 6000$ and now people are asking the question about the Bitcoin will below the 3000$, we don't know exactly the market is based on supply and demand but due to many panic people the price of Bitcoin will go down but how depth it will go, nobody, doesn't have exact guess.

Of course there's a chance for it since anything could happen but with the little rise we had. It seems the price is strong and won't give up below $3000. Also, it seems the panic has gone now not unless they will saw a fall again and another known person will make a bad prediction that could trigger their weak hands.

With long term supports being broken now there is a big possibility that the 3000$ mark will also be broken down but it still up to BTC if it will recover now at some point during this levels. Bitcoin right now really looks extremely bearish without any signs that it will have a reversal soon so I doubt that  BTC can hold the levels around 4,000$ anymore and we will most likely revisit the 3,000$ level.

It is not going to below $3000 because the price will rise soon and today the price of bitcoin is around $4400. What ever the reason of falling down it is not the reason why we keep saying that bitcoin will go down. Just think of it if the price of bitcoin will go down we can't know if some people will keep on investing so just believe that the price will not go down again.

Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?

First of all, this belongs to Speculation subforum.

Yes, it does and has been subsequently moved to the speculation section, credits to the moderator.
The market is highly volatile these days and that’s what I am concerned about!

Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
The chance is big that if such drop happens to be caused by the same speculation. Also the recovery was caused by the news about Nasdaq and may be temporary.

What happened in the last 7 days has already given me heebie jeebies and somehow the ‘temporary corrections’ accrued through Nasdaq rallying behind NYSE to facilitate Bitcoin futures which might as well be derived from Singapore’s premier stock exchange SIX launching Bitcoin ETP along with an added flavor of the demand for crypto among traditional investors, or several states and countries coming together to find a suitable place for crypto in their daily mathematics such as Ohio, Paraguay, Nigeria and many more in the past 7 days.

Alas we forget the groundbreaking deal of BBVA and Santander banks shaking hands with European Union or earlier when international charity firm Oxfam linked Cambodian rice to blockchain for the welfare of farmers and if that’s not enough for bitcoin’s growing footprints in daily life then we all know how Ron Paul’s survey played out on Twitter.

The $3600 support has been tested severally over the past few days, and I has held out comfortably. I think we can call that the bottom now, I s just temporary, we will need a longer period to fully ascertain.

After market plummeting, on this poll itself, almost 70% people don’t feel like even speculating the speculable, so maybe crypto community is more or less likely to fall with the fall and rise with the same.

But, if we are to look at loans collateralized using bitcoin or altcoins, or govt coming out in open to accept cryptocurrency as regular tradable and ‘taxable’ commodities then it must mean that sentiment for crypto is closing fast.

implying that capitulation hasn't occurred yet. After the momentum from this relief rally fades, I think we'll see bears make another push.
So, what if we are to say the next we see is fiat bonds with crypto custody which is already the case with many big players then we may need to pick sides at the end of the day, but I’m still unsure to fully understand how long will it take for crypto market to finally initiate into maturity period.

Which, at the same time, I’m not looking very forward to, as it might take away volatility from bitcoin or crypto at large, forever.
For now bitcoin is as authoritarian as USD when compared with other currencies but 10 years from now, USD is not something I’m placing my bets on.

Second: we don't know what the future holds. It may fall, it may not. There's a chance to get to 20$, there's a chance to get to 1000000$.
Reasons? For now it was pure speculation. In the future?

You say rise to $1000000 or fall to $20 but with widespread adoption that might not exactly be the case, as altcoins can surely obstruct the path for bitcoin to be the conglomerate in the future like it is today.

Sub-$3k will only happen if something fundamental like MtGox's lost coins, happens.
I think chances are  small that we will go <$3k. However everything is possible...

And, if the vulnerabilities in code is to be nitpicked for any exchange or wallet provider, then my friend, pack your bags, say your last goodbyes, war is over.

However, I still think that Bitcoin has better reasons to rise than fall. But it may be just me...

So, it probably isn’t just you that bitcoin has better chances to rise than fall, it’s the same with everybody.
Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?

FUDs and FOMOs are one of the big reasons why people lose their belief in cryptocurrencies. Remember that this is an emotional driven market.
Despite the present FUD and FOMO, as they were the reason at first place which brought everyone to listen intently to the becoming of such phenomena so that we be able to even talk about it.
Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
I just see this sales period has expired and it's time for Bitcoin to rise from adversity
Because somehow every adversity is also an adrenaline rush for some, and

The main reason? Craig Wright.

please no need to mention Craig Wright as he can bask in the glory of Satoshi right now but how long will he be able to keep the allegations of blockchain reorganization and market mosh pit at the helm?

So, anyway, I think bitcoin is sorta like Batman, hunted now, loved tomorrow and renounced the very next day onwards.

Yes, keep an eye on it and don't remove that instance that bitcoin may go below $3,000. But for this moment, I don't want to be a pessimistic person due to the fact that we're starting to get some boost up.

There's no need for a reason for it to hit that price level. All it needs to do is feel like hitting that price level and it will.
Definitely, no need for any reason to hit at that price again because if it feels that it will be there, it will happen.

If it was to hit it I'd say the most likely time is January. That's always been a really crappy month traditionally. If it gets past the start of the year without reaching that low then just maybe we're in the clear. I ain't holding me breath though.

Now, according to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin costs $ 4,357, although a couple of hours ago it was worth $ 4337. The price of bitcoin is growing before our eyes, and this is good news. Therefore, it is possible that in December we will still be able to see a good bull cryptocurrency market. We hope that this will happen. It's definitely still possible. I might even call it likely.

A bounce was definitely on the cards. Unfortunately, leveraged longs have only risen on Bitfinex since the crash began, implying that capitulation hasn't occurred yet. After the momentum from this relief rally fades, I think we'll see bears make another push.

Chances are always there. Even as we speak there are chances that it will goes below $3,000. Make sense. Main reason for that will just be known once it will reached $3,000 or should I say, just some factors that can we looked on as a reason.

Rather than thinking of that unpredictable scenario, just do some ways how to take advantage of the current trend. Why did you asked for that? What are your plans? What are you thinking? Did you just make this thread out of nothing?

All analyzations here will just remained speculation until it happened. So in this case, try to analyzed on your own.

We can expect a retest (aka bulltrap) so $3k is possible.
A retest or bulltrap is due to a small group of investors trying to keep the trend bearish (downwards).
Some investors bet on a negative trend and make money (going short).
Some investors push down the price to get people to follow and then they buy back big at lower prices (dump&pump).

It is possible but unlikely. After bitcoin went to 1k, it went down to 200 for some considerable time, so (proportionally) after heights of 20k it may go down to 4k (we are currently seeing that happening) and stay there for some time, but I don't think it will go lower than that.

This post is on the wrong section.
Yeah, anything can happen in just a matter of hours, the market is much more volatile than the past years. It can easily go $3000 or even below that point. I observed that the other markets, stocks and Forex are also experiencing drought. Maybe it has an effect on the crypto market, but crypto market is different, much of it is not regulated. FUDs and FOMOs are one of the big reasons why people lose their belief in cryptocurrencies. Remember that this is an emotional driven market.

The $3600 support has been tested severally over the past few days, and I has held out comfortably. I think we can call that the bottom now, I s just temporary, we will need a longer period to fully ascertain.

If yes then what will be the main reason for it?
I don't see us getting below $3000, but if it does happen, I can't pick out one particular reason that would be responsible, the market is currently in a bad shape.

Today bitcoin back to $4200. As we saw yesterday it was $3700. Is there any chances that bitcoin go below $3000? If yes then what will be the main reason for it?

First of all, this belongs to Speculation subforum.
Second: we don't know what the future holds. It may fall, it may not. There's a chance to get to 20$, there's a chance to get to 1000000$.
Reasons? For now it was pure speculation. In the future? The chance is big that if such drop happens to be caused by the same speculation. Also the recovery was caused by the news about Nasdaq and may be temporary.
However, I still think that Bitcoin has better reasons to rise than fall. But it may be just me...
