I don't think we will see Bitcoin touch the price of $6,000 again, why can I say it like this? Because from the analysis side Bitcoin has entered the bullish scenario as we expected, the downtrend has been broken. And from the fundamental side, we have received the green light from the President of China, who has said that the China must take the opportunity of the blockchain technology. As we all know that China has banned cryptocurrency exchange since 2017, so this is great news for us. The whales from there have also bought a lot of BTC I think. This is why we can enjoy the price of bitcoin which suddenly rises very high.

Now some people on the Internet predict that bitcoin will hit a new low since 2018. Is this someone harvesting leeks and alarmist? Historically, there seems to be a similar voice every time prices fall. Our retail investors are reduced to leeks every time.

I think you should not talking about the all time low because Bitcoin has just reach above $9,000 in just a single day. Although it's looks like big whales trap to me but everyone are happy to see this new development in which it will make people that supporting Bitcoin to increase from diminishing.

For your own good it is better for you to stop listening to those people and instead try to look at bitcoin and what the price does by yourself, if you do you will notice that after the lowest point is reached bitcoin then goes up and then the new low is never as low as the previous one.

When you look at bitcoin this way then the chances we will see a new low which is even lower than what we saw during 2018 is very unprovable and you should use your time to learn as much as you can about this market instead of wasting it listening to those people.

I think the decline in the price of bitcoin has stopped and switched to pumping. Well, until now there hasn't been a lower price drop than in 2018 and I don't think this year will be any lower than that. from now on, it looks like bitcoin prices have gone up and are heading for higher prices. I think in this year the price of bitcoin will be in the range of $ 7,500, up to $ 9500, and most likely the highest price will exceed $ 10,000 this year.

Following bitcoin’s sudden drop earlier this week, bitcoin and crypto investors feared the worst wasn’t over for the market but everybody will think positive now as Bitcoin heading fast towards the psychological $10,000 mark. Hopefully this sudden rise up will continue as we have waiting for the Bullish market for a very long time.

If this happened then its not new anymore as we know how volatile the market is. BTW no one can answer this question accurately, we are just here speculating of what might be the price for the next coming days.

One thing is for sure, even bitcoin price dropped it can survive due to people supporting and just waiting for the right timing to buy.
and now bitcoin prices seem to be refusing to deeper all time lows,
bitcoin is up 25% today because of news from China, this is really interesting where the price of bitcoin will be taken later,
which certainly everyone will also hope with altcoin, just wait there will be turn

If this situation would come then there is nothing to get surprised, Anything could happen in the coming days because of the international economy is not going well. every share market is running with a low transaction volume, people are getting afraid of this circumstance of the financial crisis, so this cryptocurrency will also be affected by this scenario more or less that's why the price of Bitcoin could be hampered, I am afraid of more price down since 2018 because the last couple of days transaction volume is not a satisfactory level and it doesn't seem to be good indicator for this favor of the Bitcoin anymore.

We can only predict and speculate but we'll never guess it right. And as of now, we're nearing the $10k mark and looks like it's going to continue. Hoping for another bull market though, but cannot guarantee because the price is so unpredictable. That 7k to 9k pump almost took only half a day to happen. Those who bought at low surely got some hefty profit. I wished I had bought at that time though, but risk is a factor to decisions.

In my opinion Bitcoin won't drop again in price as I said in my previous posts , I think the bear ended on 15-16th October and looks like we're about to go over 10k$ in the next hours so if you waited for that dip in price , it will never come again. This is what Bitcoin does to speculators, you don't have much time to think and whenever you see a sudden drop in bitcoin price you should make your move as we all know that bitcoin always recovers.

Yesterday we were at 8400$ and now we're at 9900$. Big green candles happening on charts so I would expect some big green days in the next days or maybe even weeks but don't get to excited as we're far from the bull run to begin.

I don't think so if I remember correctly the lowest price since 2018 was around $3K so it is still too far from it,
But we could never know what could happen in the future so there could be a possibilities that it could happen.
But right now I don't think that it would crash deep down back below $3K.
Right, that's the lowest low we have so far, and today bitcoin recovers so there no more $5k-$6k, as others may have thought. And I don't think that we can reach as low as $3k again, support are very strong at $7k so I guess that's the lowest price we can see prior to the bitcoin block halving next year.

Remember that crash to $3k was not due to bitcoin's selling pressure, it was because of the whole Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV, hashing war that November 2018.

Would you stop posting like this?while we are looking for growth all you do isn’t posting something in negative side?

Aren’t you getting tired of Fud and misleading when the truth is you are all also for profit?

No bitcoin will never go down below 4$k again and the stability will continue at $7k.and even time comes that we fell again at that low?i will make sure to take that advantage to buy more bitcoin and will even consider loaning just to have plenty of this great currency

I don't really see bitcoin recording a new lowest price in 2019. The lowest price I possibly see Bitcoin attaining will be between $7k and $7.5k. Bitcoin will be hitting $12k in no time soon. The bitcoin market is gradually growing and making its way into the general public where people can easily acquire and own Bitcoin without having to stress themselves.

since bitcoin first appeared, many people have some prediction about Bitcoin price, and just for you know price of Bitcoin very unpredictable. not just at this time, smart and pro investors always have predictions to speculate with the price of bitcoin. and when new investors see some of the predictions that might not match their expectations, this makes them panic and makes them sell bitcoin in a panic too. and I personally really use the panicking moment now Cheesy

Let me ask another question regarding this. Will we hit a new high this year? With today's huge pump, we realied, again, that the interest for bitcoin may vary significantly. So, it is possible to have a nice momentum if we keep having these. So, as an answer to your question, with the coming halving, I guess we are not gonna hit a new low this year.

No, the lowest bottom had already been hit mate, i don't know why as soon as bitcoin experiences a sharp fluctuation most people tend to think bitcoin is going to drop all the way down again. if you are asking this just to fill your bags at a much cheaper price then you better think again because i tell you what Bitcoin below $10k is still a good buy.

and BTC going back to 8k range , honestly i really dont know what behind this flash pump, its really huge , and of course as i BTC fanatic, i am happy.
but indeed, this does not seem normal, only after 2 days everything changes, but at least the analyst must review their analysis.

It is possible. We really can't determine whether its price will drop more or when bitcoin will start to pump.
This time, the only thing we can do is wait and watch the current situation of the market. We should not take this as a disappointment, grabbing this dip as an opportunity will be the best thing to do right now.

Everything is possible in the future, but the thing is will it happen?  The answer, we don't know.  I can make a guess for sure and that does not mean I can tell the next low of  Bitcoin.  Same with this predictions.  How many times did they err?  countless!  So we shouldn't look at this prediction as if it is 100% correct.

no one knows exactly where bitcoin is going, all of that is just an uncertain prediction, although bitcoin is in a downtrend, it seems difficult to break through to $ 3500. hopefully the downtrend ends quickly and the price of bitcoin rises again.

Speculations are flying all over the place, bitcoin is getting weak day by day. However it can not hit an all time low at this time of the year, am guessing we shall end the year above 10000$ and that will be a major success to the year 2018

We are going through one of the worst situation wherein everyone is aware this is not the end but still people are dumping bitcoin due to the speculation about downfall of bitcoin. Soon when the market gets stable the speculation of these negativity will turn into appreciations. Market will not Hut new low it's just temporary

We've been here for hundreds of times in this situation, Bitcoin dipping is a scenario that will keep repeating as we move along, but that does not mean that it's the end of Bitcoin, right now Bitcoin is going up again, so it has a chance to regain what it lost.
We must not be careful on what we think could happen, because it might happen, but there is a strong indication that it will not go that way because halving is just a few months away.
We all know that when bitcoin will show a dump next thing to happen is a huge pump. We have seen this many times before, we should be able to tell the next thing to happen. Though we really can't determine what is the next thing to happen.
If its price goes deeper, there will be a good outcome for sure.

Whenever there is a certain bullish move they say that bitcoin is going to moon and whenever there is a baarish move they say bitcoin is going to ashes. i Don't think this should be happening around here.

Ho I wish so that I can buy on the lowest price this year. I still believe in Bitcoin and if ever the price will go that low, there's no other way but up. I'm confident that it will recover and will make another all time high price in the future.

bitcoin already hit its new atl last year and also on this year which is at 7k usd and people are expecting for more decrease  .

10k usd for btc is already achieve this year which is not impressive for me but i think your right that the value shall return from 7k to 10k just before we end the year  . 10k is not bad than nothing at all  .

I think it will not because most of you are waiting for bitcoin to drop lower to make your buys but Bitcoin is already low in my opinion so it cannot dive under 7k. I saw this scenario to many times hearing people saying "Bitcoin will go to 3k$ again and then I buy" and 1 month later bitcoin went up 3k$ so why this time won't be different ?

Speculators can do what they know best but if you're a long term holder would be a mistake not to buy at this price.

Anything could possibly happen with Bitcoin anytime. We all know how volatile the market is and we can't control it but the fact is, we can't predict its future price. The only way it could hit a new low is a ban by a big and important country. We can't say it will never happen because it's possible and if China bans mining or the USA comes up with some strange legislation like the one in NY we can expect a lot of red candles.
Ot course there's a very low probability of this really taking place. Without grim news there's no way Bitcoin will even go below 5000 dollars. This would break the 10 year old trendline! Something like that doesn't happen without a major failure within the asset.

See we can just speculate about the prices from the past records but in reality we don't know what will actually happen that whether we will see pump or dump situation in future. But one thing we need to know is that stay away from negativity around us and keep calm without getting panic as btc always pump when bull run hit the market and we get our returns. So invest in it and hodl.

No one wants to see their investment going down the drain but what makes you think that the price of bitcoin will probably go down next year, the worst case scenario is that we will see an all time low this year and there is no way we will go to a market situation when halving is nearing and hence for everyone planning to invest these corrections are the right time to invest.

Numerous users already have a prediction of bitcoin price but as the usual case, we couldn't judge the market if this time will hit a new low. Since the current price touches $7500 there’s always a tendency it can go lower but not to the point to hit a new below $6k. In my opinion, once the price could go down below 7k it may sudden increase. Above all, let’s hope the best in this market condition of bitcoin that will have a change in price in the coming days or months.

There has been a lot of predictions here and there, some say it’s going bullish some say it’s bearish and with all different prediction it is hard to tell which one to choose and what to think anymore but we all know bitcoin’s volatility and as investors there is only two directions up and down thus, we should all be ready for all the things that can happen even the worst things. We may see a new low in the coming days but always remember that bitcoin has always regain it’s strength so just believe in bitcoin.

There has a lot of prediction but sometime it didn't real but I think in 2017 which was the year of the bitcoin prediction that came true.  Last 2017, the price goes up to 20 thousand dollar in just a month after the meeting about the bitcoin that it could be gone on August 1, 2017 but the bitcoin still alive until now.

@IOE no one can predict with accuracy as to where bitcoin prices will end up in coming months, hence you should not believe everything you read on the net these days. As far as those retail investors are concerned I feel bad for them because now they’ll sell their bitcoins at losses on the advice of their analysts, and later when bitcoin prices will rise then they’ll come here and curse bitcoins. The moral of this post is to make you’ll understand the need to hodl for long term, and not to be persuaded by short term fluctuations to sell your coins.

Far from being likely to return like 2018 to $ 3300, Bitcoin will target bullrun in the coming months, and I think the lowest bitcoin price of $ 7,000 will not exceed that.
There is no guarantee that the price of bitcoin will not go down $7000, it is a global market and it has its own risk, even if there is a correction now there is nothing to worry in the long term as the price will recover and everyone knows that and so is the reason we are not seeing massive sell off compared to the earlier price charts. If the market continue to perform badly we might even go down to $5k and it all depends on the next few day of market trends.

It goes the same when the price starts to gain a few percentage. Anyone could predict with the current market condition, but It all depends on how he supported his predictions.
Actually, that range is quite possible. If you noticed how we gradually dropped since we hit the highest this year at around $13,000 on June. Then, Bitcoin plunge and moving sideways trading at $10,000-$9,000 range in the whole month of August to September. Upon entering the month of October  ,Bitcoin has decreased its value again and moving sideways trading around $8,000 for a few weeks ,and now here we are trading at $7,500. I have a feeling that the price will stay at this range again for a week or two before It recovers or become even worse.

Don’t believe everything you read online OP. I don’t think the price will ever go below $6,000 again, certainly not in our lifetime.

There is a pattern. It's logarithmic with powers of 10 in this case. It hits above a power of 10 for an all time high, then drops to somewhere around 50-60% of that, then slowly climbs back to that old ATH, sits around there for a while, then shoots up to the next power of 10 for a much higher all time high. Repeat

3 years of profiting in this market. Even if we dip to $3,000 I'll continue to buy. I bought at $6000, and continued to buy at $500. I'll never stop buying. I take profits every once in a blue moon, but that's only when certain benchmarks are hit. Like the first time I broke 0.2 mil, took $20,000 in profits and injected it back in on the dip. Same when I broke 1 mil. Next profit I'll take is when I break 2 mil. Which isn't too far away with the halving coming next year. Personally I'd love a huge dip like $1,000, but it is very unlikely with bakkt has already come.

If you're currently feeling FUD but you're up, ask yourself how much you'd have to cash out in order to make you immune to FUD. Maybe that's your best option. Don't let emotions control your decision making.

Everyone is free to make predictions about the price of bitcoin, but if bitcoin hits a new low to $ 3000 it's a bit too much in my opinion.
Because right now bitcoin at the price of $ 7,400 is already a low point, so in my opinion it's unlikely that bitcoin will drop below $ 7,000.
Indeed in the world of cryptocurrency anything can happen because of the price of bitcoin volatility. But there must be a rational factor
here, it's easy like this bitcoin as we know it is increasingly known in the world. Therefore if the interest continues to grow rather
unreasonable if bitcoin hits a new low sice 2018. That's makes no sense.

Now some people on the Internet predict that bitcoin will hit a new low since 2018.

People have always been "predicting" what will happen with bitcoin's price. I get it, it's sometimes fun to speculate. But as always in the end, no one knows(I've said this a lot of times that I might as well be a broken record). There will always be bears when the prices are rising. There will always be bulls when the prices are falling. And vice versa for both. Stop wasting time trying to listen to people's "predictions" as I'm pretty sure no one has a track record of predicting the markets with 100% accuracy.

Yes it is not based on other people's predictions, as they do not know what will happen to the bitcoin price, they are just based on what they see and hear from other people. So don't listen to them because it will only cause you fear. You better take this opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin as we will surely see it again in a few weeks when bitcoin prices rise again,

Lots of TA predict bullish lose and bearish takeover, but the lowest price at around $6450, the bottom we expect. The target for the bull is $7700 for the end of this month.
So, bitcoin won't hit a new low price this year, $3300 was the lowest but won't repeat.

Far from being likely to return like 2018 to $ 3300, Bitcoin will target bullrun in the coming months, and I think the lowest bitcoin price of $ 7,000 will not exceed that.

Everyone can predict if there will be a new low. The year has not yet ended although there's almost 2 months left for it to end. There's a comparison for the all time lows and each year there's always a high all time low. So, for last year it was $3,300 - $3,400. We may actually see that the all time low for this year was higher than that. But who am I? I don't know, I'm also just looking into that pattern that we possibly see it happen.

I don't think it will. It is still a bit early for the end of the year hype, but i expect that BTC will soon go back up, unless something really bad happens.

Yes, the key takeaway here is "some people" and who are these people really? These people's opinions can be as good as we have. I can predict and I can also cite good basis of my predictions but one thing is for sure I could not guarantee that what i said will definitely happen. It is the same with all the things that some people are saying and will continue to say. The bottom line with Bitcoin is we have to prepared for the worst while expecting the best. Hopefully, a big boom for Bitcoin is coming in 2020 and that is when the coin can be reaching as high as $2 Million Dollar, according to figures supplied by John McAfee...believe it or not!

Your expecting/assuming the price to go down to around the 3,000 regions? That is what the price of BTC would be if it dropped down to the 2018 time.

Don't think it's necessarily a bad period for Bitcoin, and I think it's a pretty good period for crypto-currencies. Bitcoin's growth, in price and adoption and technology has been fairly stable, with the only big thing we can expect being the block halving.

I say it's a good time for crypto-currencies because a lot of them they are centralised and popular are actually getting support from governments, especially in the stablecoins area.

I can predict that Bitcoin can reach a new all time high this year. My dog can predict that Bitcoin will reach to 0 this year. A beggar on the street can predict that a global recession will happen anytime soon (if he knows about it).

My point?? Anybody can predict and share their opinion to the others and especially on the internet and I don't care about it. Regarding to what you said, it can happen but it can't happen too. The chances of this to happen is around 5-10%. Smiley

When ever there is a rally or a correction in the market you will hear these made up stories and it is nothing new to the market, you do not need to pay anyone to say these things, they have the social media platform or blog or a news website and they keep on chunking out news that will catch the eye of people looking for answers why the market is going down and they make money writing these nonsense.

In my opinion there is no way we'll ever get below $3000 anymore unless someone major happens on the fundamental part like a huge flaw discovered by hackers or big governments banning BTC. There are too many institutional investors in the market now that are eager to purchase BTC and these prices are already very cheap compared to the potential of BTC. On the higher timeframes the BTC chart still looks decent so you might want to be more neutral than bearish.

We can't actually say what will really happen but of course it is still possible. Everything is just a prediction and speculation but let's just prepare ourselves if this actually happens. I don't really think it'll happen sooner but if it does, just look at the brighter side of it. I know it would be frustrating but during its lowest point, you could buy more bitcoin to hold. Because after that, more possible of it surging

Bitcoin being speculative there is more price predictions from different users based on various factors. The price of bitcoin has touched its low of $3000. The increase in the price has begun from this year April, and the same has provided with the expectation for the year. As halving is scheduled for the year 2020, big price can be experienced by 2020.

Bakkt into the market was expected to make a big influence on the market, to the expectation nothing big happened. Hope change in the market due to Bakkt will happen in the future.

Yes, they can predict, but they don't know the truth. We can also predict what they did, but we should wait if the prediction will happen or not. It is hard to predict what will happen to bitcoin, and no one can make the right prediction. Prediction will be a prediction, and we should prepare for the worst if it's happening so we can prevent the loss. It might hard, but if we are ready for anything that will happen, I am sure that we can use the moment for ourselves.

The fallen of bitcoin price can happen before it's rise higher. And if we check on the history of bitcoin price so far, we can see that the chance to see the fallen will be there. So it's better to set everything before it's happening and we can try to buy bitcoin at a very low price.

I seriously doubt it. I base this assumption on yesterdays 600%+ investment increase in Bitcoin Futures from institutional investors on the Bakkt platform.

Yes, there are not a lot of traders on the Bakkt platform, but the little that are on there have a lot of insider information on the things that they invest in and if they are suddenly investing in Bitcoin when the price is going down, then they must know something that we do not know about.

Let's see if my speculation is accurate.  Grin

There are different people that predict the price of bitcoin and some of them are professionals on this field. We do not know if bitcoin will hit new low price on this coming year 2020 and until now bitcoin is still unpredictable. Maybe we should wait until the 2020 and let's see if bitcoin truly hit new low price in the market.

Don't be so under pressure because of bitcoin price and don't panic every time when bitcoin price falls.
It's funny how every time when the price goes down some people predict the worst possible scenario. This now it's just usual correction, something that we see all the time. Just relax and buy more coins.

Yes it can happen and we have to be ready for that and stop panicking. Bitcoin price are unpredictable and it hurts to see the price to dump big within a day, but we cannot stop it because investors has decided to sell their bitcoin at a loss. Hodlers must keep buying with cheaper price, don't sold if you are losing be patient.
