Bitcoin has already overcome paypal. It is now widely accepted by banks, stores and other establishments. It also being used as primary payment by online sellers.

Bitcoin will sure does overcome Paypal. First if it will be globally accepted and will conventional money will truly be converted into a crypto currency because like Paypal in so many countries of course only because we use the conventional money worldwide. If there is chance that Paypal will enclosed an agreement to people behind Bitcoin it would be better that they could start a new way of money transformation.
As a payment source it will be much preferred than PayPal by certain users whi completely use bitcoin for all their needs. Others prefer PayPal for its chargeback option which gives an additional trust on making any sort of transaction through them with a little increase in fee.

Agree. The more merchants accept Bitcoin, the closer it will be to overcoming PayPal. However, Bitcoin is having a hard time to scale, leaving PayPal in the lead with its higher transaction speeds, and most of all, regulatory compliance. Since transactions can be reversed in PayPal, it gives it a fair advantage over Bitcoin. Perhaps, at some time in the future, Bitcoin would improve in fee cost and transaction speed, increasing traction in the business world.
When this comes, Bitcoin would become so popular that PayPal would have to implement BTC into their platform or be left behind. Despite this, I think that both are necessary depending on the users' needs. Whenever they want freedom over their money, they'll use Bitcoin. On the other hand, if they want to request claims or have protection over their money, they'll use PayPal. Just my thoughts
When more people become aware that bitcoin can be sent as remittance cheaper and easier than can be done with paypal, then yes, bitcoin will overcome paypal. The thing is, though is that paypal is a company and as a company it can consciously make an effort to advertise and promote its services. Bitcoin on the other hand isn't a company and can't consciously decide for itself to go out and market and promote itself as a remittance option for payment, services or whatever.
Yes, bitcoin will overcome PayPal with time. More people are getting informed about bitcoin, the benefits of transactions using bitcoin outweighed that paypal. In bitcoin verification process is less stressful unlike PayPal and Bitcoin already has a wider adoption.

For now it seems paypal is still the primary choice of internet payment, but I'm sure someday or at least 3 years from now bitcoin will be overcome paypal. the main thing that makes paypal still strong is because it is supported by many banks and credit cards.

There is nothing to make a comparison between bitcoin and PayPal. Both differ in it legalities and the method of using. Co-founder of PayPal indicated that PayPal is payment support that made an change in the payment system. Bitcoin as a payment gateway has also grown to get used as a currency. I think not necessarily bitcoin, but crypto, will be our new financial system and so yes, it will also replace paypal. More importantly though, it will replace banks and major financial institutions.
I have vote yes, and I am thinking that bitcoin has already proven it's worth to the world that it is worthy of their trust and if the collaboration of Bitcoin and Paypal would truly become a reality then I think it will stand still and might be a threat with ebay and some sites that are using paypal on their direct transaction, but i think some competitors are trying to manipulate the matter in stopping the progress of bitcoin.

i personally think bitcoin will overcome Paypal, less fee to pay and no chargeback. once adopted by the governments and is accepted worldwide, then Bitcoin will not only overcome but also replace pay pal, as long as none of the Bitcoin policies are replaced or modified. especially the safety and privacy policies. PayPal isn't a bad platform , just that Bitcoin will come ,with another level of efficiency and speed.
