That's certainly true. It's quite rather disappointing that many people are still unaware of Bitcoin or don't even know how to use it. Since Bitcoin requires a level of knowledge in the tech area to use it, this limits people who're non-tech savvy to get started with it right away. On the other hand, PayPal is easier to use than Bitcoin and there's no such thing as slow transactions, and extremely high fees.
Nevertheless, it is only a matter of time before Bitcoin improves enough for use in the mainstream world. The ever-rising demand, and upcoming improvements, are just signs that the cryptocurrency will become a stronger payments system in the future. Once it becomes capable of handling micro-transactions, then it will be one step closer to overcoming PayPal. Just my thoughts
