Elon Musk now has an influence because it is officially the owner of Twitter, of course whatever he tweets will be easy to be trending and if he makes a negative tweet then the influence on the market, but we don't worry because the whale is not visible cryptocurrencies is very much and more influential than Elon Musk .

Twitter and the market have no relation and Elon owning twitter does not make his reputation bigger in the market. In the past, he has deliberately manipulated the market a few times and people realize it too. If he keeps doing the same things when he owns this social network, people will leave it and his reputation will go down. You should remember that the market is full of whales but no one can manipulate the market, if any affect only a few coins in a certain period of time.

Elon Musk officially became the new owner of the social network Twitter today.

Of course, this will not affect bitcoin or the market, but recent information has also been announced by CZ, that he has also contributed to helping Elon own Twitter.
With this news, I believe it will have an impact on the crypto market in the near future. Twitter is considered the top favorite space of crypto investors.

Do you think this will benefit the market or will it harm the market, it will be easier for Elon to manipulate the market and CZ is becoming a monopoly in many areas of the market??

Now, my question is what impact do you think Mr. Musk's purchase of Twitter will have on Bitcoin's price if he succeeds?

Why do people always connect to bitcoin whatever Elon Musk will do. The purchase didn't even said anything about it so there is no reason to speculate if it will make an impact on its price. He even stopped posting crypto-related stuffs now since he realized that he can move the market with his influence by doing it on dogecoin last year. We should not treat him or any famous personality as a signal to buy bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies.
People still can't get over with Elon Musk these days on how he played the Bitcoin and altcoins market just like a milking cows factory. This should be enough of a reason why they should stop connecting the wrong dots that every Elon Musk do since it's nowhere to go. He just playing the media and the News to gain sympathy or a biased results plus he's not into Bitcoin anymore but rather playing on his memecoins plus he gets to get the profit since people are riding with his game.

Honestly, I don't see any interest in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies from Elon what he wants is just for his own gain and he saw that it is possible to manipulate the market to make a profit for himself and he succeeded once in the past when shilling bitcoin and doge. Regarding the acquisition of Twitter, I think he has a plan for his business, he is quite busy with tesla and his other companies, and I don't think he has enough time to buy Twitter just for crypto purposes. Don't overestimate him as a true crypto fan with just a few tweets from him.
What about the most of us? I think many of us don't also care about the cryptos but we only buy and hodl them for the sake of earning a profit. The real ones that care are the ones who use their coins for payment purposes only and they never made a complaint whatever the price ends up but what is only important for them is that they can send or receive money seamlessly without any restrictions. There's no need for Elon to buy twitter if all what he wants is to manipulate cryptos again because he already did it in the past but he buys it because he have a different plan. We are clueless for now but we will soon have a hint if what is it.
There are many possibilities about why Elon Musk would like to buy Twitter, one simple possibility is that he wants to influence politics on the US, most of those behind social media platforms are in favor of the Democratic Party and their policies, and even if Elon Musk does not want to interfere directly his approach to freedom of speech is more aligned with the ideas of the Republican party and could benefit them on upcoming elections, then it is likely this move has nothing to do with this market.

If Musk was going to make a difference in speculation it would it would have happened by now.  As the worlds richest man of course it can cause an effect but its going to have to be on action not speculation of what might be, people presume Musk will talk and do little on this point as its not really engineering but more of an ego move on his part.

His favorite coin is dogecoin, if there is any effect from this sale, I think dogecoin is the beneficiary, not bitcoin. This is very interesting news but obviously there is no connection between twitter and bitcoin here. Everything will be very interesting if Elon really becomes the owner of this social network, I know he is a very smart person, he bought it must have fully planned his work but he is also an investor holding bitcoin and dogecoin. There will definitely be some interesting things to watch out for on the market when he officially owns it.

This an old news of Elon musk buying Twitter. And secondly this buying of Twitter don't have anything to do with cryptocurrency price, those one of the major factors that increase the Bitcoin mining and investors, Elon musk is a business minded person that wants to diversify his source of income, so he building his pathways of money doesn't have anything related to Bitcoin increment, i think the frame of your composition is wrong conception.

Many people are afraid that the price of bitcoin will drop significantly because there is someone who is said to have a large stock of bitcoins, FUDs like this are common, even more severe when many countries have officially banned bitcoin which will panic users in that country and in fact cannot make bitcoin drops.

The current bitcoin marketcap is around $365 billion, or 3 times my country's foreign exchange reserves, with a marketcap as big as it is now I'm not worried if someone sells all the bitcoins in stock, I'm sure no one will have more than 50% stock of the total bitcoin supply so even if he sold all stock I'm sure it won't matter.
The scope will look very small if you only look at the foreign exchange reserves in your country, because in this world there are so many people who own shares and Bitcoins who are in different countries. And if everyone in this world releases their ownership into the market at the same time, I think it will be influential and can also damage the price if there are not many people who hold it in an instant.

Twitter is in no way affiliated with bitcoin price. Elon Musk buying Twitter is for his gain not for the gain of the bitcoin price. Now that Twitter is under his control, he would like to curtail all the unnecessary altcoin spamming happening on Twitter. The only relevance I see towards his Twitter buy is for Dogecoin to get more vulnerability. Elon Musk is a businessman, he doesn't get involved in what won't yield his gains.

Elon Musk has already worked to crash bitcoin price in the past, so nobody should expect he is going to work to impact bitcoin positively, because everything he aims is his self promotion and welfare, even if he has to destroy everything around to achieve it.

On the other hand, he might want to take advantage of bitcoin at some point again, then there is a possible scenario where he may try to promote bitcoin by integrating it to the twitter platform for tips among users, although for now it is very unlikely. There are higher chances he introduces dogecoin instead, although it is also a speculation from enthusiasts at this point.

Anyway, don't put any hopes, expectations and tokens on Musk. He is a treacherous individual.

This is the vision the community has of him and I cannot say that it is mistaken at all, since it is very unnatural that a person can go from fully supporting a project to a few days later begin to hate it, so Elon Musk only cares about what he can get out of this market by manipulating it, and the sooner the people realize what he is trying to do the sooner they will realize that he does not care about them at all and then they can stop following every single statement he makes in social media.

Elon musk should just go ahead with the deal already, he has seen the potential of the private usage of Twitter which makes it hard for data loss since the security and privacy policy of Twitter is decentralized like other social media where users are restricted from changes on identity. One thing am sure of that Elon Musk's ownership will bring is the elimination of bots accounts on the platform, but aside from that, Twitter is highly decentralized and it will not be able to control its users' privacy.

If Elon Musk manages to buy twitter, of course the positive effect will certainly have on crypto, because he is also a crypto enthusiast. however other negative effects of course exist although we cannot assume at this time.
Positive or negative impacts depend on what Elon Musk does after he purchases Twitter. It cannot be predicted now.
Regarding the news, I didn't see any correlation or influence on Bitcoin price. If you see Bitcoin price is struggling, it is because of the demand on the market or manipulation done by whales. Everything looks normal, no significant move in Bitcoin price, which means nothing to influence the price to move lately.

I must say that I was surprised by this question, Elon Musk and Twitter's deal does not have a direct link with Bitcoin. What must have been confusing you is the reaction of the crypto when he (Elon Musk) tweets, but this deal in question has nothing to do with Bitcoin for now. More reaction could be triggered only if Elon Musk links the deal with BTC as a future plan in such a way that could either affect the coin negatively or positively.

A neutral takeover of a microblogging company can't hurt or help Bitcoin.

He did briefly post details of using doge as a system to regulate posting and ensure quality via some market price idea.   He then deleted it because its hard to make that true while also allowing the poor citizens able to post as easily as the better off and of course it would be uneven.   A good try at combatting spam perhaps, just having every post linked on a blockchain as a unique identity might be something but that is asking alot to implement.   Anyway the main idea is he is trying to integrate crypto still and that could easily count as good news in a speculative way even if the most likely outcome is he does nothing like a year back he just sold assets he bought.  In fact he might just sell twitter in future as well; I dont see how its core to his vision and its far too big to be a play thing that doesnt earn.

How does it relate in the first place for Bitcoin? I think it's out of the question between the deal of Musk to Twitter, it doesn't have to do with it. I think Dogecoin was more related to this discussion since it pump a little when Elon agrees again to buy Twitter (funny how people associate this kind of stuff). Unless he's back again with the sarcastic tweets involving Bitcoin.
You do you know that some just frame what just come to their mind to create thread,  so that is while it's necessary to scrutinized a thread before responding to it, indecencies that the body of the composition will be narrating another and the subject will use another thing as the letter heading, so it's very abnormal from my view of understanding of it.

So far, Elon Musk's tweets about bitcoin and good news about bitcoin have had no impact on bitcoin.
In fact, the pump is just a pump instead of changing the trend from bear to bull, because naturally this is a bear market where good news = nothing,
especially about Elon Musk buying twitter? haha of course it won't have an impact.
That is your word but what is the truth ?

Elon always makes the market shakes mate and if you are following the trend ? even shitcoin can have value once he pumped this so never under estimate everything that Elon can do .

specially twitter as one of the most popular social media in our time now? what could have the possible effect in crypto industry?

Of course it affects, but the influence of 1 or 2 people like Elon Musk will not be massive and occurs for a long time, we know that the current Bitcoin marketcap is more than $ 370 billion and what Elon Musk has saved is no more than 10% of the total marketcap , if he sells all the stock he has certainly will not be too influential.
that is the estimated Elon Holding but what is the truth?

I don't see anything to do with bitcoin, but now I'd also like to hear your opinion on the same question.

I think the price of bitcoin will be affected if Elon Musk is willing to invest hundreds of millions of dollar in bitcoin right now. Obviously it will increase the demand in the market so can expect an impact on the price. But if he just buys twitter, it won't have any impact on bitcoin.

I can't imagine that this will do anything to help the price of Bitcoin, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on why you think Musk's purchase of Twitter might relate to the Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

I think Twitter and Cryptos are both in separate spaces.
Musk has purchased these for his own benefits. This won’t help the cryptos in any form, until and unless some miracles happens.
Mr Musk also don’t help in any price increase of cryptos, he just creates fake hype for it’s own benefits and sells when the price goes high.
Just a lame tactic to increase his wealth.
Yes he does nothing for short term. The position he took from Doge Coin was profitable for him. Normally he purchases large amounts at low prices and sell at high prices. Investors may not realize it at first, but later they get it. When the investors get to know Elon Musk already he had done what he needed to do. His tweets currently have no value in the crypto market.

Elon Musk has long been a controversial figure. There's no doubt that back in the day he was very influential in the space, bringing much needed attention to the industry. But that was then. Today Musk is irrelevant in crypto, and his recent tweet history only proves this point further. Nowadays, his tweets simply do not move the markets. There are no backed up claims, only baseless speculation that is ultimately uninformative at best, and misleading at worst. And while this fact may disappoint some of his fans and followers, it's simply a reality that those in crypto have to deal with.

The logical people say that Elon and Twitter do not have any real power over bitcoin and its price and know the reality that it is only us, the buyers and sellers that decide the price of bitcoin. However, the people who are chasing hype end up making bitcoin price move based on the tweets, and actions of Elon and so forth to make it volatile again, so even though the logical ones are right, the hype chasers make it look like they are wrong.

So the wise thing is to stay away from this, but the risky move is to ride the wave and that will make sure that there are some people who will make a profit out of this, and that’s an important key element to what will happen.

That's if he himself doesn't have that much influence, but if some of his friends also sell all of their cryptocurrency asset holdings into the market, I think the effect of falling prices will be much greater than what is expected. Because Elon Musk's friends are big investors and investors in Elon Musk's business. And Elon Musk himself also knows that they can be an influence for the market if they move in unison to get the things they want in the not too distant future.

I think it's a very natural thing to happen when Elon Musk's tweet about bitcoin doesn't have as big an impact on bitcoin as it did with Dogecoin and Shibainu. Because you also need to know that Elon Musk is an ordinary human being who has broad business skills and he is not a pump-making machine on any asset including Bitcoin.

So the pump on the price of Bitcoin I don't think has anything to do with someone's tweets including Elon Musk's tweets, because Elon Musk can say anything through his tweets, but it doesn't have to happen as he says, because he is also not a god who can change everything in this world

Elon musk did buy Twitter but I don't think it will have anything to do with Bitcoin for now,
we know that Elon musk is indeed a person who influences cryptocurrencies,
and if Twitter is going to accept cryptocurrencies then it might as well have an effect later, so just wait news comes again.
I think, Elon musk is an investor like you in the community, I don't think, he has the power to control the price of Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that is not control by any investors in the community. If Elon musk win the case in court, I think, he will use the compensation money to buy Bitcoin in this bearish season and hold until the price of Bitcoin increase to $100,000 before he can supply to market to make a huge amount of money.  Elon musk is a potential crypto investor that is good in long term holding, even though the price increase higher he will not sell because he is waiting for the price of Bitcoin to hit $100,000 before he can supply to market to make a good incomes.
I do agree that it's about the hype and not about the news, if there is a hype to a news then that news could cause the prices to go up, if there is no hype to a news then it could be the greatest news and it would be nothing. This is why I believe that we shouldn't really be worried about anything right now, no news would be that much of a big deal, it's going to be a very boring thing in the end.

I personally would love it if bitcoin was impacted by this and went up, who wouldn't want that (aside from short futures buyers)? But just because I want it, doesn't mean it will happen, Elon could tweet about bitcoin everyday for the rest of his life, and as long as people are not hyped about it, it won't change a thing.

Elon Musk certainly has a big influence on the market, it is proven that Doge can skyrocket and has been ranked for more than a year, and Elon Musk has loyal followers who will always follow whatever he says, and our hope is that he can be active again to motivate users Cryptocurrencies
he did that in Dogecoin and in Shiba Inu , but I doubt that there will another big effect once he tries to pump a coin(at least wanted nothing to happen lol)

but I understand the sentiment as Elon Musk has proven several or many times about how he can influence the market to favor His plans and money bagging .

also consider that unless Musk delivers another words towards crypto specially His shitcoins? then there will be much in effect .

I do not find any correlation with this in the price movement of Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin and social media are completely different. Many may point to some sort of influence involving Elon Musk, but how logical that is is debatable. However, some altcoins that have Elon Musk investments may have a minor impact.
Other social media yes but for Twitter? I think it has some contribution in the crypto space and even Twitter now allows the use of crypto wallets in your profile. This is why many people are thinking that any news related to Twitter and Elon will have an impact in the price of cryptos but I don't think Elon musk have an investment in altcoin not even in btc or any other cryptos.
Twitter was never built for cryptocurrency.  Twitter like other social media is a media which is more popular especially for all popular and famous persons Twitter is a widely used social media. But now Twitter is used more for announcements and marketing of crypto projects, but maybe some good news on Twitter can have some effect on cryptocurrency but it won't have a huge effect.

I think he already quit cryptos long time ago but he is only interested on Twitter because he will use it on his business. I think Twitter is much bigger than in cryptos and it's more formal to have for a business personality like Elon musk than he will promote some kind of a meme coin.

The news is between the two private companies though Elon is kinda expose to cryptocurrency recently but I think the deal has nothing to do with Bitcoin. We can only concern about the future plan of Twitter with regards to crypto adoption and for now, we should wait for that and wait for this deal to fully close. Elon is crypto enthusiast, I’m sure he already have plans how to adopt cryptocurrency in twitter platform, let’s just wait for that.
I have this negative feeling that if Elon will succeed about Twitter, probably he will come to hype again crypto just for his own profits desire. The reason why many of crypto enthusiasts stay away from the influence of Elon since Elon is known already for his own greed. And I think whether he succeeded twitter or not, bitcoin has nothing to do about it and will never be affected again just by a single tweet that created its hype.
People have learned their lesson, when Elon Musk first showed his support the community was really happy about it, however when he supposedly changed his mind so quickly the community immediately understood that he was just trying to manipulate the market and earn some money in the process, and he was successful, but since then except for the part of the community that is excited about meme coins we do not really care about whatever he has to say about this market.

Bitcoin may have been quite affected way back then when Elon tweeted about it, but this time after all what Elon did to the crypto market most particularly to the first time investors that time, that until today they are still experiencing their bitter losses, I guess Elon is not that powerful at all to still influence the crypto market particularly with bitcoin. It’s like China that is not important at all to bitcoin, same thing for Elon Musk too. He maybe very influential person but definitely, we know already his bad intentions into crypto.

I still do not understand why he would ever want to buy Twitter, it must have been like a joke thing for him that turned into a real thing because of the probable lawsuit, but it really doesn't make sense.

Why would he really want to buy twitter, what would be the relevance to it at all? He usually has stuff like solar panel company, space ship company, electric car company, all things that would further improve the world and that makes sense to a point, but that doesn't change the fact that twitter is none of those things and he is a weird person so maybe he just joked about buying, or wondered if he could, and that looks like the only reason to be fair.

I think any news will not affect Bitcoin, especially since the Bitcoin marketcap is currently more than $ 390 billion, some time before it was reported that Elon Musk sold all bitcoin, but what happened was the market could rise, and I was sure that the giant silent was stronger than Elon Musk too much talking.
390 billion dollars dominance ? this is just a little amount mate comparing to what we have in the past like 2021 that there are so much capitalization yet this becomes lowering this year.

though it is not about news that makes it happen but this Musk's action will still bring some effect to our market here.
maybe not instantly but eventually it will.

If there is any effect then I think after closing this deal and Elon consider accepting bitcoin or doge as payment for twitter ads. But now with this news it won't have any impact, bitcoin market has never had any connection with Elon and twitter. But I like Elon to take over twitter but am current shareholder. Hopefully, when he owns twitter he will improve this social network like the freedom of speech he always refers to when talking about it and gets rid of bots that annoy the users.
If its Elon then it will have some effect but if its Musk, I guess there will be not much effect in crypto market. Musk is not that focus in crypto and if he is we would see it in his Meta projects but none of it gets popularity even they announce to have some coins on it. It will not be a huge impact in the market even if he creates a Twitter coin it will be just like how he takes over Instagram and just expand social platforms.

The Twitter deal made too much noise, so I expect that its effect is over beforehand. I do not expect that there will be an impact on the price of Bitcoin because this has nothing to do with Bitcoin in the first place. Mr. Musk previously affected Bitcoin when he announced Tesla’s acceptance of payment by Bitcoin and then returned and negatively affected When I announce that Bitcoin pollutes the environment, but on the Twitter deal I don't expect there to be an impact on Bitcoin.

there is no link between bitcoin and twitter but with this news published yesterday it helped dogecoin price increase by 10%. it is likely that this deal will affect bitcoin and the crypto market, i've been reading recently, don't know if this is true or just a rumor, but if it is, i think it will affect bitcoin

Sam, the owner of the FTX exchange, is considering acquiring twitter with Elon and hopes the two can discuss the deal
What if the increase is only just a co incident? Because the connection between elon and doge are I think have been disconnected long time ago and I rarely see elon mentioned the coin on one of his tweets though we don't know maybe some people still assumes that doge will be used someday in twitter but the price change should be only limited to this coin, not in bitcoin and to the entire crypto market.

Only crypto that it might benefit is maybe doge but that’s a stretch. Elon had the crazy idea in the past to charge people 1 doge per post on Twitter. It was ridiculous and won’t happen.
Lol really? But, I think this is its way to recover what he spend in acquiring the platform but if this is possible then this greatly improves the price of dogecoin while at the same time, many twitter users are going to leave twitter because they won't agree with this idea. They think it's ridiculous.

Is there any relation between Elon Musk and Bitcoin? Nope.
Is there any relation between Twitter and Bitcoin? Nope.
Is there any relation between rich person spend a lot money and Bitcoin? Nope.

I don't know why you can think Elon Musk bought Twitter will affect Bitcoin price lol, it doesn't make any sense here. If Elon Musk create own marketplace on Twitter and only accept Bitcoin as the payment option, there's a slight affect IMO.

Elon Musk has manipulated meme coins to create hype, but that doesn't mean Elon Musk can manipulate Bitcoin prices. I think many people
overestimate Elon Musk, which is the fact that even though Elon Musk is rich, Elon Musk is still a human with limitations. So don't always associate
Elon Musk with crypto, because Elon Musk's main focus is not just crypto, there are lots of other things Elon Musk has to do. Including Elon Musk's
move to buy Twitter, this is not necessarily related to crypto. So don't spend our time and mind just thinking about Elon Musk, because our success
doesn't depend on Elon Musk. I prefer investing in crypto based on the research and analysis that we do, not what Elon Musk or other people say.

There's a lot of discussions about Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies being injected to Twitter so I think that's where you get the idea that it could affect the market of those.
I doubt that.
If he loses nothing changed. Now, if he wins then there might be a small effect if ever he successfully does what the rumors said. We are not there yet so let's not expect too much.
Based on the new article Elon Musk have got time till October 28 to complete the deal and acquire Twitter. Beyond that once again court trail and further procedures continue. His win in acquisition will have small impact over the market, but it won't last long. During those days, he served as an Influencer and made big changes in the market. Now people are aware about his strategy to increase his wealth and never think of the common people.

I don't know if this is considered his win because he refused to buy twitter first, and after being sued, with only a week left until his court date, he decided to buy twitter at the original proposed price. It can be seen that he is weak if he has to go to court to confront him and the takeover still happens if he loses the case or still has to pay $1 billion in compensation if he loses the case.
We didn't find any connection between Elon and bitcoin or twitter and bitcoin, they are all unrelated so I don't think there will be any effect even the slightest.

In the past, many have lost their money by falling into various tempting traps of big investors. Today's investors are now conscious. They do not act based on any information. No matter how reputable a person he is. But I personally don't want to blame those famous people. Because this is trading business everyone comes here for profit. No one wants to knowingly lost his assets. However, if Elon Musk gets full responsibility of Twitter, it may have some positive impact on the crypto market.

Actually you are indirectly correct from my perspective, because it's that some certain news can actually affect the increment of cryptocurrency, and especially bitcoin, and to an extent too theirs some information that come against bitcoin that those not succeeds in bringing the price of cryptocurrency down from my perception, it's contrary.

Precisely, it’s not bitcoin that will pump nor dump but it’s definitely dogecoin which is Elon’s used to hype. Bitcoin was never affected with the last news about this Elon’s interest on twitter so I don’t think it’s price will be affected today. And besides, Elon was never became relevant to bitcoin, but definitely he’s more on meme coins that turned out into shitcoins at the end of the day.
I agree that there is a good chance we are not going to end up with anything that would be making sense for dogecoin to keep on going. Let’s be realizing that dogecoin is a useless shitcoin, and if you are investing into it, at least be aware that you are investing into a shitcoin with a chance of hype by elon and that’s the only thing. Doesn't mean that it would be something that would be great and not a big deal but at the end of the day there are some people who would prefer something like that.

If you prefer that, and you are willing to take that risk then it would make sense, but of course this is a useless risk that I will never take at all.

It's nothing mate, i mean for sure it cannot make an impact unless after that elon musk convince his team to highlight the whole crypto currency especially bitcoin because surely the whole market gained more attention around the internet.. But perhaps we already knows what elon musk planning why he really wants to buy twitter and that is to promote his own projects and etc.
His conception of buying Twitter have not been reviewed to anybody, what you render as a personal opinion might be false or true, because i believe that Elon objective of buying some of the social media haven't be declared open, so this your suggestion is like assumptions of many people, but in a nutshell anyone who is venturing into anything have its objectives of that.

Elon Musk is a smart businessman who is known by many people from various circles. This Tesla CEO managed to make Dogecoin an altcoin that had experienced the hype as a coin meme. When Elon Musk was reported to have bought Twitter some time ago, I thought something surprising was about to happen to him.

Twitter is indeed a large social media platform with worldwide access. The news you convey is clearly the source, but what is reported has nothing to do with Bitcoin in my opinion.

It was the fact that might this twitter will use to spread his propaganda as well that could create a huge market impact. We can't just simply ignore that and we never know what is his real plan after this.

But as we instead make assumptions, it was better to prepare ourselves for any possible results.
He might've got plans of market manipulation, but this won't give hands for Musk. People are well aware compared to the old days where it is an easy task to manipulate the market and enjoy good profit. This time it looks like the dilemma have come to an end.

I don't think this news will have any effect on the value of bitcoin either. But if Musk starts manipulating and writing about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin again, it could turn the market around. But I think Ilon has a lot of problems with other projects and their stock price, the crisis and other negativity now, since he even started writing about Ukraine. But it would be nice to see his tweets about BTC again.
This is exactly my point. We are aware of Mr. Musk's propensity for talking a lot and the impact this has on the market. Remember his tesla and bitcoin tweets, his Doge Coin tweets, his tweets about bitcoin and climate change. I am speculating that if he finally purchases Twitter, he could just decide to publish anything favorable or unfavorable about bitcoin when he wakes up one morning (especially now that bitcoin halving is just around the corner).
You should remember the whole story not only parts of it.

Bitcoin price was already rising and Musk's tweet just became viral adding to the existing hype but the media tried to convince everyone that the rise was because of his tweets.
After that when the drop began, he started spreading FUD about bitcoin contributing to the drop and again the media tried to convince people that the drop was because of his tweets!
Finally he tried to spread more FUD about bitcoin and its energy consumption but because price had reached a bottom, all of his efforts failed. This is something the media never told you specially when he was still insisting on his FUD and price kept going back up setting the ATH at $70k.

Now, my question is what impact do you think Mr. Musk's purchase of Twitter will have on Bitcoin's price if he succeeds?

Nothing, plain and simple.
I don't see the relevance with this news connected to Bitcoin price. Besides, he's no longer relevant in crypto space. People knew how he tries to manipulate everything in crypto, but nah he did not, even once with Bitcoin.
That's why he turned his attention to the meme coin, which somehow he made an impact for enticing people to pour their money over it.
But then again, with Bitcoin? Nah. Not even once.

I guess it wouldn't relate unless Elon said, "i will pump for bitcoin like i did for dogecoin" lol.

Elon is the type of person who only thinks about himself and how he can benefit. He is also smart to find moments that he can use to benefit from those moments and get other advantages.

We don't know what Elon's plans are but what is clear, if it's bitcoin-related, we might see a bitcoin price shock. But I don't know Grin

Yes, he could do it again to get the sympathy of the people who still faithfully follow him. But regardless of the news, hopefully, the price of bitcoin can go up shortly and give us more profits. And the good news is that the bitcoin price has now returned to the $20k price level and we hope it will stay there while waiting for a good moment to start the next increase. Right now, it might be better to wait for confirmation from the market so that we can know what to do.

Not much I guess, if there is any. Twitter isn't even a Bitcoin platform. And it is not moving from a pro-Bitcoin owner to an anti-Bitcoin owner. Both Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk own Bitcoin, although it is obvious that Dorsey is more dedicated to the improvement and adoption of the technology more than Elon. Elon just doesn't really care about Bitcoin. But I guess this is not a big deal. Elon has already lost his influence over Bitcoin.

Most people are already relying on Elon Musk now especially when Elon Musk started some tweets about cryptocurrency or Bitcoin before and the price or market is always reacting after Elon Musk's tweets or any statements given by him. It's just sad, with only one billionaire shitposting on social media can control such prices. There's no problem with him, for me, it's on the audience or the people.

So I read on the news that Mr. Musk has offered to proceed with a deal to buy Twitter at the price he proposed months ago before trying to call it off. See the snippet of the news below:

Now, my question is what impact do you think Mr. Musk's purchase of Twitter will have on Bitcoin's price if he succeeds?
I do not really think this event is going to have too much influence at all in bitcoin, however it could have an effect on the meme coin market as those people reverence Elon Musk as if he is some sort of divinity, but other than that I would not expect too see too much of excitement over this news, we have seen how fast Elon Musk can change his mind, we saw it when it came to this acquisition and when it came to bitcoin as well, so I do not see how this could be positive for bitcoin at all.

Stop giving Elon Musk relevancy in relation to bitcoin price. Nothing he does affest Bitcoin, except you (and many others) are greatly influenced by him and react to his actions.
It's the Number 1 money-man on earth at the moment we're talking about here. Definitely he has some level of clout, whether we want to admit it or not. Money is the name of this earthly game we call hustling. Elon Musk has it and just like ants to sugar, there are expectedly going to be those who will worship the soil he steps on. Yes, I don't like his guts too (just like you) and how he makes comments he doesn't linger long enough to stick to but then I give it to him that he has an ability to influence stuff. His power of influence may not be on veteran investors and traders but we can't truly say that for noob investors.

Well, I see nothing. It will just affect on Twitter management, not the crypto market.

Oh, I really see how social media influence the market trend but never I think this would touch crypto. I couldn't think how Elon Musk use this to manipulate the market and the minds of crypto investors. If there is a pump or dump happen in Bitcoin a few days from now, I'm sure this is not because of this but something which really connected to the market.

You can not expect impact on bitcoin because of Elon musk that is not a pro bitcoiner. If he is a bitcoin lover, it can have some shift in bitcoin price to bull even with the grant of request to go on with the deal but he is not so no need expecting the price to change because of him. You can talk positive for dogecoin because he promote it. The hodlers of dogecoin can expect something good if he succeed with the deal.

I guess we are done with Elon Musk and his twitter acquisition drama. So I would agree what most of the posters said, it will not have a significant effect as far as the price goes. Maybe if we see Elon as pro-Bitcoin, but we have seen how we change his stance specially with this whole crazy idea that bitcoin is not eco-friendly. Majority of us stop believing in him. He can do whatever he pleases with his new company, but crypto market will always be a separate entity from any self made billionaire.

My personal belief is that he doesn't love bitcoin or crypto that much, all he did in the past was find a way to fill his pocket with bitcoin or doge, it seems like he's just trying to earn money and will forget about them as soon as the goal is achieved. He is a smart person so maybe he already has his own business plan, I don't think he bought twitter just for the sake of launching the project and promoting it.

But hopefully after taking over twitter he can change some of its regulations like freedom of speech, which he always complained about the social network before. I am also a regular user on twitter, I really love it.

What is the effect that occurred in the past to believe that such news will affect the price in the future?

The market is now in a bad situation and therefore needs real and direct news to make a change and not indirect news, as both Elon Musk or Twitter did not explicitly announce that they might invest and that Bitcoin is one of their future plans.

This is if we assume that the news is correct and that the deal will pass without any unexpected obstacles.

And there has been too much back and forth on that purchase story to really expect anything to be decided soon.

there is no link between bitcoin and twitter but with this news published yesterday it helped dogecoin price increase by 10%. it is likely that this deal will affect bitcoin and the crypto market, i've been reading recently, don't know if this is true or just a rumor, but if it is, i think it will affect bitcoin

Sam, the owner of the FTX exchange, is considering acquiring twitter with Elon and hopes the two can discuss the deal

https://cryptonews.com/news/ftx-crypto-exchange-ceo-considered-buying-twitter-with-elon-musk.htm

Only crypto that it might benefit is maybe doge but that’s a stretch. Elon had the crazy idea in the past to charge people 1 doge per post on Twitter. It was ridiculous and won’t happen.

twitter is a very big and popular social network, most crypto investors are active with this platform but if he charges per post i think twitter will lose one large number of users, i don't think Elon will do that either

But for Bitcoin I don’t see how it would affect it. It’s great for tech overall but these 2 aren’t related to each other by much.

Others might be bullish with this news. But we already know that Elon has sold much of his bitcoin already and he seems to be leaning with his favorite meme coin - Doge.

So I guess there is none, although the price seems to be very positive in the last couple of days but maybe manipulators are just riding the hype with this news and pumping the price and then we will see another dip in the $18k again. And if this news has some effect it will be in just short term.

Now, my question is what impact do you think Mr. Musk's purchase of Twitter will have on Bitcoin's price if he succeeds?

Now, my question to you is, why would you even think that this purchase could or would affect the Bitcoin price in the first place? One, just one tiny fraction of a scenario or a thought in which it would do so cause right now I'm incapable of thinking of one!
The only thing I can think of this actually influencing crypto (but NOT! Bitcoin)as in the altcoin scene is his statement on cutting down fake accounts, so this would be indeed a disastrous blow to the shitcoins spammers that are turning any semi-important crypto-related twitter into a spam fest.

What does this have anything to do with Bitcoin in the first place though? Not like it makes sense to integrate Twitter+Bitcoin with anything(besides the donations thing, which is nice but meh), unless you have an idea.

My guess: nil.

So I read on the news that Mr. Musk has offered to proceed with a deal to buy Twitter at the price he proposed months ago before trying to call it off. See the snippet of the news below:

Quote
Elon Musk has offered to proceed with a deal to buy Twitter at the price he proposed months ago before trying to call it off, according to a legal filing, a stunning development weeks before the two sides were due to face off in a trial.

In a letter that Musk’s side sent to Twitter overnight, he offered to go ahead with the deal at $54.20 a share if the Delaware Chancery Court, which was scheduled to hold the trial on Oct. 17, agrees to “enter an immediate stay” of the case “and adjourn the trial and all other” related proceedings. Twitter enclosed a copy of the letter from Musk’s attorneys in a financial filing Tuesday.

Twitter said in a statement Tuesday that it received the letter and intends to close the transaction at the original share price offered by Musk’s team. The company plans to accept the offer but is waiting for confirmation that the judge can oversee the process, said a person familiar with the discussions who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive matters.

Now, my question is what impact do you think Mr. Musk's purchase of Twitter will have on Bitcoin's price if he succeeds?
