1 Month is a long time if you consider how bitcoin could increase within few days even though after reaching a new ATH just recently. If we're talking about the increase of bitcoin in percentage. to increase to $10,000
bitcoin need approximately 35% to be achieved within a month and by that we could see a $10,000 price of bitcoin by new year.
However, If it's not reached at that time, pretty sure it will in the year of 2018

If people take their segwit2x fork coins and use them to buy even more bitcoin (which i feel many people will - i certainly am doing that) then bitcoin will easily hit $10k by end of this year. However if it causes some huge mess with bitcoin it might take a bit until upward pressure resumes. Also its possible that people move back into altcoins after the fork.

So far this year Bitcoin has grown an average of 0.66% every single day (above the historical average of ~0.42%). If this 0.66% daily growth continues until the end of the year Bitcoin will hit $11k on the last day of the year.

It will be hard to reach 10k in a short time, but bitcoin is keep on surprising me, each month it reach new ATH, so everything is possible, my concern is the rising is not stable, after it reach 10k I afraid there will be a huge correction, that is why I prefer the slow and stable rising, it indicates that there are new investors, not some whale trying to do the trick

I think Bitcoin will be already able to have a market value of 10000$ at the end of this year especially if the hardfork in November will be as successful as the recent one last August. It is believed that the segwit2x will make the market value of Bitcoin to go skyrocket just like what happened before. So I think it will break this barrier at the end of December.

If you are able to catch up and bought at $7,300 then I guess it's quite good for taking some profits now as it pumped at $7,500 but take awhile and wait on what's possible to happen.

5%-10% profit of your total investment from your capital is quite a good return and it isn't bad right? Just buying and waiting for the price to get high, not that much effort but with good profit.

Set your own goal and amount of how much you are satisfied with but don't go too far if you aren't backed up with good analysis. Your decision is still the best for it, take time to study the whole thing.

if we are talking about the possibility,i believe in the ealry 2018ish we should see it more than $10.000,
but if we're talking about the analysis and market sentiment,
for now we do not have a clue,just wait until the price is closing in or its peak in the next few days later on.
also what is the decision that we will see in the next event ?
i am absolutely sure we should see a huge downtrend if it's locked in,and how much it will be after the event ? it will determine Bitcoin price at least 30% from it.
right now we're only can guessing about it,

Even proper analysis of this market doesn't seem to hold much value anymore. the current price of bitcoin is above 7000$,it has increase tremendously in past few days ,but 10,000 mark is still a large step to accomplish,even if nearly touch that amount i am afraid that it will loose its value and start decreasing soon.so touching 10k $ price in early 2018 is quite difficult,and most probably not going to happen.

Yeah, Bitcoin is rising significantly and has already hit the mark of 7400$. It's just beginning of November and I expect it will bring more gains to the holders by getting even higher than this by achieving new ATH. But right now everything seems as I believe it will gain the value of 10000$ before the year's most probably or in the beginning of 2018...

Although that is a record-setting amount to reach; I think there is a big possibility and probability to reach that amount, given the current price of BTC. However, there can also be a chance that it won't considering the nearing fork this November. They say that bitcoin values would decrease dramatically after the fork and given the short time you have given, say first quarter of 2018, it might not be enough time for it to rejuvenate its value.

Noone can exactly forecast future price but there are some tools to check the given information. Market cap gonna be big if bitcoin price hit 10000$ on first quarter of 2018. Best option is keep adding cheap altcoins to portfolio rather than buying expensive bitcoins.

We definitely need more merchants to support Bitcoin. It is rare to see any alt-coins accepted by online or brick and mortar merchants. This is where Bitcoin is doing very well. We just need more. Right now, the merchants accepting Bitcoin are either huge retailers, or retailers who cater to geeks. I would like to see more of them for sure. There are ways o purchase gift cards to many retailers using Bitcoin, but that is an extra step that will keep many consumers away.

I believe that it will be able to reach an amount of 10000$ in the middle of 2018, particularly in the 4th month. Maybe it will only be able to reach a value of 7500$ in early 2018 in my opinion, because surely it will be hard for its market value to increase that quick with a short period of time and having a current value of 6000$. But I am not saying that it won't be able, it is just that I think it will take more time.

We're just on the verge of breaking $7000 on coinmarketcap.

Honestly bitcoin is such a hot topic right now that 50% gains to push us to $10000 would come quite easily. Once there is news of bitcoin in some place that is positive, it will push price up. We've got plenty of time between now and early 2018 for this to happen multiple times.

even $15,000 per coin is looking possible right now.

I think bitcoin can even hit $10000 this year and probably in the first week of December because right now the value is increasing rapidly and it is expected that it will hit $8000 soon, if predictions will happen we are all heading to a very valuable bitcoin by next year from $2700 in the middle of 2017 now it hit $7000 very remarkable year, I'm so excited in the coming years of bitcoin industry.

Quite agree, I see that the price currently now very bullish even to reach $7000 doesn't need that much time, really different from when bitcoin still struggling when going to reach $4000.
At this time, I have no doubt that the price of bitcoin will always skyrocketing, I don't know which factors make the price really pumped so hard whether it's SegWit2X or any else but
the outcome is really good.

I agree it could be possible to get to $10k before the end of this year. But why after accepting that are you saying only $15k in 2018? If it is $10k by end of 2017 it'll hit $15k by probably like April. Would probably be more like $25k or $30k in 2018 if it gets to $10k by end of this year.

For us investors of bitcoin we expect the bitcoin price to go as high as 10,000 US dollars but I think its possible in the year 2018 maybe on June if the demand for bitcoin gradually increase through the years there is always a possibility to go that high but not that much its a step by step process just like how bitcoin becomes familiar with many people not by suprisingly many are hyped in bitcoin its one by one that many people are getting familiarized with it. So in my predictions I'll be expecting to go as high as 7,000 US dollars on the end of the year

It's yes for me, $10,000 is at hand and the price now is $6,800 so there are only $3,200 for an increase and we are good to go. The 2 months remaining for this year would be enough for a movement so let's just expect that time will come and it will make the price at $10,000 next year. There is a possibility but unfortunately every time there is a rally of increases in a span of a week there is always a corrections, bitcoin attacks, rumors, bad news and the incoming fork also that will give a hard time for bitcoin to come at 10000$. But if all days will or be lessen its effectiveness by May or June the 10000$ is something reachable.

Totally the 2018 is bright year as 2017 more adaptation and popularity will be widespread worldwide and may reach up to the isolated area.

Anything can happen but, to me, it's very unlikely. We almost hit 7k in the last few hours, so anyone could think that the 10k goal is possible. But this massive surge in the price (almost 700$ in the last 3 days) could bring a correction, after that we will see more clearly what the actual btc price is, that's when we can begin to predict/discuss what the price is going to be in 2018.

For early 2018 I think, the price still not reach $ 10,000 yet. I think on August maybe can reach $ 10,000.
I know is depend on demand in the market. But I optimistic if more people know about bitcoin and invest, it will help the price up.

I think we'll see a minor correction before or during the upcoming fork and then we'll see a steady rise to $10k. The is pending no large news events that could make it pop either direction.

Yes. I think there's a good chance Bitcoin hits $10k in January.

It's attempting to hit $7k tonight. Might do it sometime this week. Could see $8k possibly before the fork this month, or otherwise maybe early december. $9k late december. $10k sometime in January or if the assault on $10k causes another crash maybe $10k by late February.

I can’t say anything about Warren Buffet as I haven’t really followed him or his opinion. However, I think studying charts, from a purely visual perspective, is not enough. Also, while history CAN be an indicator of the future, it is not always. Not to mention the fact that that Bitcoin is a “new thing”. I don’t think we can apply the same analytics to Bitcoin that we have applied to stocks and mutual funds, at least not in a wholesale manner.

There is a possibility but somehow it is slim. I do not think Bitcoin will rally to $10k in just a short period of time. It needs to at least increase around 60% of its current value. To be more realistic i think it can possibly reach around $8000 at the end of this year to the first quarter of 2018.

The one consistent thing about bitcoin is how it surprises most analysts. I think it's fair to say the majority of bitcoin critics no longer have any credibility. Calling it a "bubble" is not saying much, since every asset arguably will have a bubble -- the question is when will it go up or down. It's timing that matters to investors. Figuring out when is the hard part. In my view, $10,000 will be reached easily by 2020.

It's possible. I think the appetite is there for further major explosiveness. Part of me hopes it doesn't though because that type of gain in that short a time usually adds up to a very lengthy hangover.

I would have said no, but honestly this year has been huge. Last year we where at +250% or something and this year we're already what, +600%-700%? This is absolutely possible to see another 33% gain in a year from this point. There could also be a 33% dip haha. I doubt that will happen at this point though.

I dont think bitcoin price will rise to 10.000$ pretty soon. Now, the bitcoin price is 6.600$ so there is a 3400$ difference to 10.000$ wich is not easy to get. If china and other big countries are going to open some exchangers that will help the price to increase a lot, but only the forks are not going to help bitcoin to reach 10.000$ very soon
Also as the charts are showing, at the end of the year the price tends to fall a little because people are selling their bitcoin to have real money for new year
