Argentina is in a bit of a financial mess at the moment. When countries get themselves into these difficulties, they often become attractive victims for major powers. China would appear to be setting its sights on Argentina in retaliation for US and UK actions. The re-arming of the Argentinian military could be an attractive option for the Argentinian government, and it could allow them to restart the Falklands war. Of course this would lead them into debt slavery to the Chinese.

It would also create another black swan event which the Deep State needs so desperately.

A very unlikely scenario Jet. Once I had a friend (who happened to be from Argentina) and he asked if I could lend him a coupe of grands for his business. My answer was "Oh... well if you were a complete stranger I would consider it... but... you know..."

Argentina as a country behaves in the same way mostly.

I am not entirely updated about Argentina current situation.

Argentina and Brazil are in a similar situation, however socialists had more success in their policies there, so their country is all fuked up.
Kirchner is already in jail, just like Lula, her supporter.

As far as I know, Argentina is  now facing an austerity economy plan.

Government spending was bigger than revenues for years. Socialists do not believe in math. If you can print money, why shouldn't you spend all you want? It worked for a few years, but later on they had to pay for the loans they made... devaluation of their money,  unemployment, inflation, etc...

Now they need  to reduce government debts, increasing revenues and reducing spendings. Pretty obvious, but highly unpopular.

Part of this plan includes a devaluation of the national fiat currency, another unpopular measure.

In the scenario, socialists will always blame the ones who are solving the problems they created. Krischner party was in power for decades.

China communist party is allied and supports socialists of Latin America, and for sure this is an opportunity for them. Socialists are never nationalists. China communist party  could give high loans for some years, supporting the socialists form Argentina.

In Brazil for example, they are supporing Ciro Gomes (the most probable lula heir)
From Ciro oficial website (he is proud of that)
