No doubt market correction is good for the health of Crypto but market correction on bad news due to ban by a country is not a good sign. I thins crypto market should be regulate by the Governments or any other independent agency.

If crypto will get regulated by the government what do you think will happen? will crypto grow or the government will just contain it. There are many possibilities that will happen when the government regulates crypto. I just hope it will turn out good to everyone of us.

I hope they will so that it will be fully legalized all over the countries, regulations means legalization these two things that we need to have so that the adoption of the people will be much easier, and we are still lucky because are the early adopters of these currencies, our children to grandchildren will surely benefit from our adoption earlier than most of the people.

In the situation right now it has a high chance to fully regulate by government so the bitcoin can regalized all over the world this is prety good for all bitcoiner all over the world but the government cannot fully control the bitcoin transaction because it decenttalized.

It is not a bad thing for governments to regulate encrypted digital currencies!

At least the government recognises their rightful place!

As long as the government regulates the digital currency exchange, it can be regulated! It doesn't seem to affect us either!

now we feel the regulation effect of goverment in crypto currency unlike the other year the crypto traders are free from these regulations and harvesting huge profits but because of the huge impact the goverment gives attention to crypto currency thats why they give some regulations and that affects the prices on the market right now. however it is a good news for us that they not banning the crypto currency.

Might be a good thing because regulations means they are accepting the currencies partially,it will just open some doors for the legalization and i agree this might be the reason why these governments to fully adopt the cryptocurrencies in the near future, this is right! better than totally banning these cryptocurrencies!

Moderation is better than banning cryptocurrencies, because I don't think the government will fully adopt it these upcoming years, but hopefully, the upcoming decades will make a difference, that is why this step would be the stepping stone for the countries to adopt and use cryptocurrencies, better than totally banning the use.

Cryptocurrencies will hardly be regulated by the government. Even if the authorities are trying to take control over the cryptomarket they cannot influence it fully they way they would like to. The main obstruction in their way for the full control is decentralization.

They could adopt Bitcoin and make it centralized but that wouldn't anymore be the same coin and the Bitcoin as a coin would still exist separately. We will see in a couple of years where will governments greed lead them.

Why not  ? if the regulation will open a good opportunity to the cryptocurrencies? if that will be the reason for a wider use and massive adoption in our countries? i wont disagree because it is better to have things legally than we are hiding into the shadows, because not all the countries agreed to use cryptocurrencies.
I hope they all give positive support to the world of cryptocurrencies, because I think there are many regulations that are too restricted

The more governments of different countries try to regulate crypto-currencies, the better for crypto-currencies. legitimization only increases the credibility of this technology. I really wait for it to happen.
EU announced that the crypto should regulate itself. I think that the government doesn't need to take a lot of the time to regulate the crypto because basically crypto can regulate itself.
More regulation from the government meant if there will be a lot of strict rules.

There is a large possibility that crypto will be regulated by the government because for them, they will thinkinh a large potential of incom for the government especially on taxing it. Once it was regulated, they will now had a chance to impose tax on it.

Government will regulate crypto to a certain degree, but the anon coins will make it hard. They will try to enforce their regulations but crypto is a strange ecosystem that doesn't behave like regular currency. Crypto is currency + so much more! and the exciting thing is, its just starting!!

Crypto will be regulated to some extent. They can not regulate the whole cryptoshere, the time and money to do so would be astronomical. They have already started with icos, exchanges and conversion to fiat(taxes). I highly doubt they will go any further, seems like a lot of countries are starting to toy with the idea of adopting it vs banning.

Well established technologies today are all regulated by the government so why not ? if these events will open new doors and posibilities for the cryptocurrencies to be fully legal in all the countries? why not? it is better than we are hiding to the public because using these cryptocurrencies for example are prohibited.

It is better than banning the cryptocurrencies,it just opens new doors and posibilties that these countries would give some chance to fully adopt the technology,i know it would be impossible in the next upcoming years but in the far future decades from now you will be suprised because you are one of those early adopters.

Every good thing in this planet has been regulated by the people, internet was regulated that is why it was established, not all regulations would be a bad thing sometimes these new technology needs to have some regulations or moderation so that it will be widely use,or be adopted massively by all the countries,it is better than a total ban.

I think it will be integrated into the current tax mechanisms, this I think would be a beneficial move for cryptocurrency. It can be decentralized in the fact that banks cannot inflate it, nor can they seize or control somebody's assets. But having cryptocurrency taxed is a necessary step for its global adoption, as the governments of the world will intervene if they cannot tax it.

I don't think crypto can be heavy regulated by government. If somewhere regulations are bad, there will always be the option to move to another country. I don't think all countries will pass similar regulations.

It could be a good reason why most of these contries will start thinking and studying the use of the cryptocurrencies and the technology behind it which is the blockchain technology, sometimes things will be easier when ther are someone who are managing or regulating these new things and technology. That is why i dont really get bothered when some countries are regulating the cryptocurrencies.

It is very nice to have some regulations if that will the reason why most of these countries will adopt the use of cryptocurrencies, slowly it will revolitionize the payment and the existing banking system, lets take steps one at a time so that the whole world will wont be suprised about these cryptocurrencies, full adoption is possible but it needs some time and i am talking about  decades.

Nope, no one has the control for.centralized coin. The thing is that , they might regulate it in limited way. The only way they coukd regulate it is to make a centralized coin and make it available to everyone. This will allow the government to have greater control over this, people will be able to show abd be transparent how they use their funds with the inspection of governments. Surely, government will take a large part on doing regulations.

Nothing to worry about, some regulations will trigger full adoption of these governments and it could be a good reason why the whole country will start to recognize the cryptocurrencies.Sometimes it is better to have some regulations so that the things will be much easier especially when we are talking about the legality of a currency like cryptos.

I agree. I do not think that the government has the opportunity to actually regulate the crypto currency. Even if the method is found not the fact that the market will stand after this

Maybe but who knows? regulations will open new doors to the cryptocurrencies,it will be more legal to most of the countries if they have regulations im sure most of the people will start using cryptocurrencies and more investors will join our community and market. This is why i see these regulations a good opportunity to most of the cryptocurrencies.

For now, All government is trying to regulate cryptocurrency but it's not easy and I think it's needed if any country wanna legalize cryptocurrency in their country. I think in next few years, Crypto will be fully regulated by all government from all country all over the world and at that time I think we will be able to use cryptocurrency for payment as local currency cause when crypto can be regulated, it'll be much easier to be legalized

The general tendency is in the way of promotion of these regulations, why ?
For governors : it's an occasion to take some shares / dividends so they'll try their best to boost regulations in their profits
For crypto community : it is a good way to minimise scammers spreading /influence over the network & it's a kind of protection traders and investors

I feel that in the near future, Cryptocurrency will be regulated by the government. Much better if they will because it means that they have already accepted the Cryptocurrency as an alternative mode of payment. A great help for the government because of the taxes and to the people because of the convenience.

This statement is completely contrary to the idea of decentralizing the cryptocurrency. But each government will try to at least partly influence the control of the cryptocurrency on its territory, this is not surprising nichgeo.

If regulations is to make people feel safe then that probably is a sign that those people don't want to take risks or are reluctant to do some proper research before investing.
If you are afraid of heights, don't tell others that they can't climb.

Making crypto's safe, regulated and controlled is killing for it's growth, killing for it's decentralised nature and killing for innovation.

I think safe is necessary but what can we get if we do not dare to take risks? Crypto is a big risk and this can not be eliminated so that our work does not try to eliminate that risk but try to minimize all the risks

I get that, but what has regulation of the fiat system brought?
Are people protected against losing their savings? Is the current system protected against fraud? Are people protected against bad investments?
I don't see how regulation from authorities that regulate the current system are going to be a good thing for crypto's.

Crypto today is highly influenced by governemnt. Maybe regular negative news and government regulations keep us from BUBBLE? I mean these negative news protect us from constant growth with subsequent huge DUMP? what do you think about market corrections? I think they are healthy for crypto.

Another important thing I would like to discuss... My long-term expectations are that the next trend in crypto is global decentralization from government regulations with INTERNAL CODE CRYPTO PREDETERMINED RULES. I mean all of the users will know certain CODE of ETHICS that will be written in the code of the crypto itself.

Yes, I would say that your first statement is pretty reasonable. But this is optimistic view on things, and realistic opinion would be so that these corrections are well-planned and because of that really speculative. Even the goverments are involved in the play.
Regarding the second statement - I also hope that it should be so. But there are several possibilities that all these pink-glassed cryptoanarchism can turn into ugly total control at the end.

I hope not by governments but with communities. I think the revolutionary new DAICO Model for ICOs could be a bit helpful. Also, exchanges such as GBX which is trying to regulate the market in a way would be helpful for the market on the long run "and away from governments"  Wink

if it comes to the real regulation of crypto currencies, then it's possible they will ruin them. decentralization and anonymity is one of the main advantages of crypto. and as soon as the state appears these two components immediately disappear.

Yeah, it will be very regulated. It's essential for governments to receive taxes from the people and businesses. That's pretty simple, as the government need control over all the situations happening in the world.

Better than a total ban, because if these countries will totally ban cryptocurrencies how would we use our assets ?it will be worthless if there are no countries to accept these cryptocurrencies that is why for me these regulations are better than totally banning all of these currencies in most of the countries, governments will soon realize that cryptocurrencies are the future cash that is why we need to follow these governments.

Might be? because if the governments from different countries will continue regulating it we will just wake up that the rest of the world are using cryptocurrencies but regulated and limited to its use, cryptocurrencies are indeed decentralized but if that will be the reason why would our market wont be accepted it is better to be regulated a little bit compare to a total ban.

If states begin to control cryptocurrencies, then the whole point in them will be lost. Decentralization is the main difference of cryptocurrencies, which we all like so much. I don't think the state will be able to take control of everything, but some part definitely. I hope not big part. Regulation could help with fraud and scam, so here i see positive points.

Government regulation on crypto is very possible as they have lots of say on the rules and regulations of the operations of their countries, more powerful countries too can easily influence the developing countries to regulate crypto.

The Code of ethics might be a good idea as one gets to know what to expected of them, the dos and the donts, one concern however is who will monitor the ethics to ensure that they are strictly obliged to.

There are much probabilities that these regulations will come to their end, germany and russia shows positive feedback about cryptocurrencies and it might be the reason why those allied countries will come to think about the good use of cryptocurrencies, the technology is changing from time to time if they wanted to be at the top, they should search and learn how to adopt the cryptocurrencies.

Nowadays some of countries are beginning to control cryptos, others ban it, and some countries legitimate crypto as means of payment.
It  think that banning is narrow-minded decision of a country.
Legitimating is very prospect policy of a country. But legitimacy is impossible without regulation by authorities. So if citizens want crypto to become official means of payment they should accept it that it'd be regulated.
And of course not all governments want and can regulate cryptos. e.g. Third World countries are far from it Smiley

They can control entry and out points (already do), but they can't control transactions. Those are really independent, if I wanted to I could send money to Bangladesh right now and nobody would stop me. Creating new wallets (addresses) should be left alone. You don't need to use official entry points either, if you want to stay anonymous. Someone can send you lets say ether and you give him/her fiat. Easy as that.

But how can they really ban cryptocurrencies? They can't take internet down, the whole world would go berserk. Sure, they can censor it, but the minute they do that in my country, I'm moving out. Though, I'm sure they won't, people would go crazy here.

Some countries will try to do what big countries are doing, regulation is better than a total ban, regulating these currencies surely sucks but what we can do about that? we arent the ones who will decide if these currencies will be accepted to most of the countries but the government themselves, different countries might have different point of views, some will oppose to the regulations and some will agree.

Thats why we wont know what will happen in the future.

Morelikely yes, because most of the super power countries has started to regulated these cryptocurrencies and they can influence the other small countries to follow their footsteps, some or few of these countries has opposed the china and the u.s response to the cryptocurrencies, germany and russia has shown some interest to the use of cryptocurrencies already that is why there is a possibility that the regulations might be minimal.
