@altseeker. Do not discount the fact that ETH and ETC are pulling each other down right now. So instead of both of them fighting each other it would be better for them to work together for the common good.

Also a lot of people fear a dump, so doing the opposite could be a good strategy.
ETC is only a response because of the hard fork and sooner or later will crash really hard, maybe with a biiig pump before.
With the kind of support ETC si getting the crash you are predicting is very unlikely.

What is your basis for that statement? Why the 270k satoshi line? Why not the 250k satoshi line?
There is a pump in ETC now but I speculate it will continue to be flat or go down after this. It is only moving up because there are people taking advantage of the news that the ETC from the white hat hackers will be transferred to a withdraw contract. After that good news has died down what will be next? The miners will still continue to sell their coins down in the market.

I beileve the bottom for ETC will be reached after the hacker has sold his ETC token, untill then there will still be uncertainty arround the coin
OFC it isnt time to buy, atm ETC's value is not backed by anything. You won't see dapps, maybe except for some very generic ones like casinos. And people wont use it as a currency, it has to stay in a very long line there with cryptos actively developed.

Looks like OP was right. Monero pumpers seem to be moving into ETC now. I wonder how much this pump will last. If its just a flash pump and dump or we are going to test the ATH again.

Yep, i can feel the desperation inside you. Get the hell out since there won't be anything goin on with ETC. You won't see any decent DAPP since it's half developed smart contract platform with no security, nor a succesful crypto currency since crypto / payment system market is already flooded, and you'll need a hardfork for that anyway. Yeah another pump can happen, but it won't have the strength since there are too many eager to get out on 2-3$ range, plus no whale is insane to pump this shit again since the motto " ETC is the new ETH" doesn't fool anyone anymore. Not to mention the ETH holders are also ETC holders who didn't bother to sell, most of them.

i think it is not an ordinary dumped but it can be a huge pump to come, i only have little amount of coins bought it @208k sat hoping another bounce to profit a little or wait for the big pump just keeping on hold.

I am thinking how much hashing power ETC will have by devcon2. It is now under 500 GH/s and it might still fall. I fear that it could be attacked and maybe killed. Also the attacker having access to his coins on September 2 will also be a big problem.
Remind of all the poeple that cried after Ethereum raising. Keep a bunch of ETC in case of the best happens. If you lose, well you lose. But what's sure is that you'll never win if you don't take any risk.

Yes. As ordinary people we do not know when this will happen. Maybe the people like Charles Hoskinson knows because they are the ones who have all the information before it is released in the news. They are also the reason why it is in the news. For us it is more advisable to be updated with the information available to us.

Personally, I think ETC is pretty stagnant and this drama has blown over for ETH. I expect to see ETH to continue growing in the future and ETC to remain about the same unless they plan on putting together some crazy dev' team. It's be funny to see ETC's dev team release features before ETH then maybe we'll see something happen
Big short profit whales don't care about the projects or fundamental or technical analysis, only about numbers, and ETC is showing consistent good numbers. A low price after a pump a great volume is what pumping whales love. Definitely worth being loaded with ETC.
