You need good ATI GPU card, what GPU do you have?

GPU:
ATI Radeon X1200

MoBo:
Acer F690GVM

Your cpu and gpu both are very weak for liteocin. Some days ago I tried mining tagcoins with my dual core E5200.But bth the processor and motherboards temperature were at 99 degree celcius. You can use your cpu to learn the setup and see hows its like to mine, just to learn. And keep a look at your temperatures.

You can most probably mine litecoins, but it probably won't be very profitable.

Since LTC is going for the $50 mark, I might as well invest myself with it. I notice there aren't that many faucets available compared to BitCoin, or any place that I know of where I can buy LTC with a Gift Card. So I guess my option would be mining.

Problem is, here's my specs:

Windows XP
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4400+
2 Gigs RAM
Two 250 HD

So am I able? If so how should I do it? I already downloaded a wallet from Litecoin.org, so i need to know the next step.
