The LINE-Japan chat application confirmed that they had submitted a review to the Japan Financial Services Commission (FSA) to register and implement their own cryptocurrency trading platform. The application is being reviewed by the Japanese financial regulator.
LINE is not only popular in Japan with 70 million users, it is also very popular in other regional countries including Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan.
With a large community of users, LINE's new move into the cryptocurrency market is entirely feasible.
