Unlike many of its competitors, Litecoin is a tried-and-tested blockchain network that's decentralized. The cryptocurrency first started as a direct "copycat" of Bitcoin, only to face a major change in the protocol regarding built-in privacy with Mimblewimble. The reduced block time and limited supply of 84m units, makes LTC a unique coin among the rest of the pack. Solana is faster and cheaper than LTC, but it's centralized, unreliable, with a larger number of coins in circulation. LTC's added scarcity should contribute towards higher market prices in the long run.

Slowly but surely, it will get to $1k. A prolonged bullish market for BTC, should prop up LTC to the moon. Who knows if Litecoin is bound to make a comeback soon? Cheesy

Not sure if it would ever happen again because the last time when I have got good profit with Litecoin was during the last quarter of 2017 and after that people were speculating it to go much higher than ETH as well as Litecoin was one of the top Altcoin back then wherein it was most preferred one for speedy transfer and low fees (Which other coins have taken over now). Litecoin let me down on multiple occasions and IMO I am reluctant on Litecoin but let's wait and see if it can pull out a surprise this bullrun.

Litecoin isn't even that close to $100. It needs a 40% pump to reach that price and has not performed well in the recent bull market. A few years ago people wondered it it might reach $1k, but looking at its price today shows just how much it has fallen. Litecoin can help you save on fees but so can many other coins. Litecoin is mostly thought of a Bitcoin copycat and doesn't have any unique features that make it stand out amongst the competition. Mimblewimble is a nice feature but it isn't a fully private blockchain. Other altcoins already have Tornado Cash style mixers and Monero if better is all you care about is privacy.

I think, Litecoin will reach $1000 in the future because their team are still showing some interest to make the coins favourable to their investors to attract other investors to change their minds to invest in Litecoin. If the price of Bitcoin can reached $69,000 last two years to break some record that made a lot of Bitcoin investors to experience incomes they have never experience before in the crypto market, show that Litecoin the oldest coins in the market will reach $1000 before the end of next two years. There are still some old coins giving their investors a huge amount of money because their gas fees is very low for their investors to enjoy.

litecoin is old remnant of the past I honestly doubt it could ever achieve great feat ever again while there is so many better coins out there, heck even I've forgotten litecoin exists so I guess its relevancy is no more.
I'd say why wasting time investing in some old coins if there's better coin out there, just saying.

really? are you serious that you almost forgot Litecoin? lol you are Stupid enough to pretend that litecoin does not exist knowing that it is still in top 20 and this coin use to be one of the top altcoin back in the years.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/litecoin/
here's the link for you to check again reminding you how great this coin is and up to now valuing almost a hundred bucks.

and it does not about  Old or new , instead how functional the coin is and knowing that we are in the congestion now using bitcoin? your best alternative to save fees is  altcoin and one of those is this one that is also cheapest comparing to other chain.

It can but it needs to survive two more bull seasons for that. After seeing so many L1 and L2 project on the market, I am not so sure about these legacy coins. People are more focused on fundamentals and real-world use cases. Is there anything Litecoin is doing that other projects can not? I don't think so and this industry is going to taken over by the institution after these bull run so they will decided which project will do better and which isn't. They will mostly go for the new project or developed their own project.

Litecoin may be old, but it's still useful for day-to-day payments. Whereas other coins have shiny-new features (at the cost of instability and centralization), LTC proves itself to be a reliable payment system for those who need it the most. Decentralization is what distinguishes Litecoin from the rest of the pack. With a limited supply of 84m units and built-in privacy features, I'd say LTC is extremely-undervalued.

I think the lack of a strong marketing/promotion strategy is preventing Litecoin from reaching higher market prices. At least, we get to enjoy cheaper fees in Fiat terms. The future is widely unpredictable, so we can only hope for the best. Wink

I don’t expect Litecoin will reach 1K$ in the near future even i think investors aren’t attract to invest in old Litecoin. It’s last All time high 412.9$ and it was happened in 3 years ago then it’s cannot hit even in 100$, so it’s pirce may be dream of you but it’s not easy for LTC. If in the future BTC will reach million dollars when it possibility to hit 1K$.
this is the most realistic scenario at the moment. I think many have already realized that there will be no miracles and Ltc will not rise in price just like that. Even the last halving, unfortunately, did not cause the explosive growth that many were expecting. The next price fluctuations can only happen after the Bitcoin halving and with a massive mentions in the media, new investors are not interested in Ltc today.

Litecoin is definitely a good currency and we should acknowledge the fact that very soon Litecoin will experience a pump, it is left for us to make haste while the sun shines. Begin to DCA in Litecoin and accumulate as many as we can before the pump happens because it is merely under rated coin but I throughly believe in Litecoin considering the efforts being put in by the team.

Litecoin can make it's way to $1k, it might not happen so soon as we expect but definitely it will, currently I feel if Bitcoin should begin the Bull run it will have a big aeffect in the price of Litecoin as the Demand will increase. So it is advisable to buy and hold Litecoin as it may happen in a twinkle of an eye

Yes, the price of Litecoin will reach $1000 soon because their team are seriously working to ensure the price improve higher as never before to help their investors to experience some positive changes in this season. Since the price of Bitcoin has increased to $28,292, showed that other altcoins price will increase higher too because whenever the price of Bitcoin is increasing in the crypto market other cryptocurrencies price will be increasing to give some signal about what will going to happen in the future. I believe, many investors will have something good to achieve from their Litecoin investment before the end of this year, because bullish season is about to take over the market for both long term investors and short term investors to smile again.

I also have the same view as you. Very likely. This is like the price of ETH previously being considered normal. Once it rose above $500, everyone got busy. I think it's LTc, it's just not the time yet and the technology is extraordinary, especially in terms of very fast transaction confirmation times. You can test it if you want. Yes. ETH and LTC are two cool pairs to have in our portfolio.

And wondering when and why this needs to make it to 1k price when there are even more currency now
that has low fees and not riskier than LTC?
Well, that's a fact and sad truth about LTC. We like it as the silver Bitcoin of this market but despite that, there are better altcoins that has cheaper fees and a quicker transfer. Still, no one's going to stop us into using LTC as an alternative transfer when Bitcoin isn't cheap at all.
Like this time, there's a lot that needs to be done because it's giving all of us headache when each transfer that we need to do is a lot.

Litecoin still struggling to even reach 100 dollars and yes till now valuing 77 dollars

when the time comes Litecoin will surely go to $ 1000, because indeed the old coin is the only one that is still cheap in my opinion only LTC,
when compared to Doge, Ethereum and maybe Monero,
I myself also hold LTC for 2024 because next year the Bitcoin Halving will start and usually altcoin season will happen after that.
it may or may not, but the main question is when this will happen? there are many of us who
have seen this coin since 6 years ago when this is still ranking 3rd from bitcoin so the bad thing comes from the
past  and now litecoin is still in bad shape for me.

I'd say why wasting time investing in some old coins if there's better coin out there, just saying.

Old coins are much more reliable than new ones, whose networks are yet to be tested against flaws/vulnerabilities. Litecoin is a tried-and-tested blockchain network that's likely to survive for years on end. The supply is limited, yet demand for LTC is low because the vast majority of traders and investors are focused on coins with shiny-new features.

Litecoin may never reach $1k on its own, if the market stays bearish. But if BTC continues to reach a new ATH, then anything is possible. Decentralization/censorship-resistance matters above all else. As long as LTC stays that way, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my opinion Smiley

$1000 for Litecoin? I say YES!, and of course it can happen in the future,
even though the New ATH LTC in 2021 is only at $ 347 but LTC is able to reach new ath when the bull run arrives,
and most likely the next bull run will be $ 500 and even $ 1000, so why hesitate? LTC is the big altcoin and old altcoin like Bitcoin or Doge, so don't worry.

Coincidentally, I've been paying more attention to LTC lately, actually it makes me go back to some past memories when the havling is about to happen, maybe next time we will see more news. events revolve around it. And my guess about LTC in the next bull cycle is also quite simple, if this market goes up then LTC will also benefit, and I think ATH can break above $1000, but anyway here also just a small investment of mine for LTC.
All those old memories about it is the reason why I am still invested in it. To be fair I have just 4 projects in my account that I usually say "I will never sell", of course we don't know life will show us sometimes I have to end up selling, but then I turn around and save more and invest more to them again. Those are bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, and ltc. Those are the four horseman of crypto and will stay like that forever.

There could be some projects that became bigger and more profitable than LTC over the years, that is why it is not ranked at four anymore, and that is why people refrain on investing into it as well. But I will not stop, I just have too much good memories about it to give up on it now.

I can't be completely sure, because anything can happen in cryptocurrency (even the impossible can happen), but if you look at the movement of Litecoin chart, then I think there is a possibility that the price of Litecoin could reach $1k in the future, especially if the total marketcap of cryptocurrency is increase very high and Litecoin is still in the top 20, so I'm sure if the price of Litecoin can reach $1k.
what movement can be consider to see why this can reach 1k in the future? and how long that future time would be? because if that is infinity then surely it will possible but in the next 100 years?  Grin
Do you think it's possible Litecoin will reach $1k in the future? If not, why? Are current prices sustainable? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Smiley

of course I'm sure that Litecoin can reach $ 1k, because Litecoin is an altcoin that is popular and invested by people too, so that can make Litecoin prices increase very high, especially if the altseason comes and most cryptocurrency prices will make a new ATH price (possibly Litecoin too), so that's what makes me sure that it's possible if the price of Litecoin can reach $1k in the future.
if you only remember that altcoins like Litecoin once a top ranking coin but look at it? drops below rank 100 meaning there is a possible to way that it would take longer to happen.

from the post starter when Litecoin already recorded its ATH (400$+) meaning this coin never cross any significant increase again up to now, though that happened in Bull years (earlier than how bitcoin recorded its ATH)
i guess this will be hard to see breaking 1k this coming bull(2025)
hope it will but I care nothing as I sold all my LTC in 2018.

I am not sure but it can happen. Litecoin price now around $200 it's not a bad position. Maybe it will gradually increase more. But so far I have not seen any large pumps of litecoin any days
As long as bitcoin is increase and it will also trigger the price of litecoin to increase too. The price of litecoin is actually following bitcoin. If bitcoin stuck and everything will also stuck in the same place. It's very hard to say when bitcoin will get another massive pump again but i personally think if it takes a few years to make it happened started from this year or at least until bitcoin passed another halving.

It's possible once the market grows a lot especially with Bitcoin.
The ATH of LTC is around $400 and that is already a close price, I'm expecting a huge pump for LTC this year because of their halving and usually the effect of that is to pump the price while limiting the supply. What we can see right now is a good sideways trend for LTC, we might see $200 this year and then in the next bull run we might finally reach the level $1000. ETH and LTC are both ok to me, I'm ok to hold this two altcoins because I know they are capable of the pump as well.

There's plenty of coins that have less max supply than litecoin but that shouldn't matter much.  Scarcity doesn't have anything to do with marketcap and what it does whether up or down.

Now if litecoin will ever reach $1k its all reletive to bitcoin price.  If bitcoin never goes back over 50k would litecoin at 1k be possible? Probably not.  But if bitcoin goes to $1million, having litecoin at 1k price would actually be a failure.  Don't think in terms of usd but in sats and then you start understanding crypto pricing and what is and isn't possible.

There's simply not enough demand for Litecoin to rise in price on its own. It's highly-dependent on Bitcoin to survive. I like the fact that it has a limited supply, though. This should keep it from losing value in the long term. But without demand, we can't expect LTC to reach thousands of dollars (USD) in market price. The Litecoin blockchain has been doing well since its inception, so it's likely the cryptocurrency will last a lifetime.

Measuring the coin's price in sats is a brilliant idea. Never thought about it that way. As long as you're able to make steady returns on your LTC investment in the long run, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley

but when this will be happen?litecoin is the past top 3 currency when I was new in this market but it losses its popularity from other issues and with those>? it maintained the top at least 20 and still holding , but harder to climb in top 10 currencies.
but for those who still have hopes? you can keep it but I already stopped my holding from this slow moving coin.
if the upcoming bull season brings bitcoin to an extraordinary price eg 200k. maybe LTC can reach the price of 1000$. because the movement of bitcoin brings altcoins following large volume flows. what is not possible in the crypto world, what is certain for me the upcoming BNB hike may be more significant
litecoin had already lost its momentum years ago, from rank 3rd now stays below that more, but maybe if bitcoin finally made its way to 6 digits then i guess there is a chance of litecoin hitting 1k.

There is that moment that it could reach but we've been on a bull run and it didn't move a lot. But we'll get to see if the next bull run will make it happen.
It's still one of the best coins so far in terms of transfer and I use it but I've got no longer hold of it because I've sold it already. Just as you have said, even the impossible can happen in the market so Litecoin has been one of the oldest and known altcoins and is even attached to bitcoin categorizing it as the silver btc. While two years has passed since this thread has made, we'll see by 2024 if it will.
I think it is not about reaching it beforehand, that would be quite hard I agree with that. But it is a bit about having a future potential or not and I believe Litecoin has that. This is a coin that has existed longer than most aside from bitcoin, and it is still a top 15 coin, that should be an example of how big it is and how amazing it could be as well.

I am not saying that it should be something that we need to achieve in the quick run, like in 2023, maybe (probably) it won't be 1k this year, but the reality is that if you think bitcoin can be 140k, then litecoin could also be 1k as well. That's the type of increase both sides have with each other.

With the come of new coins and tokens in the market and that will be so hard for litecoin to reach such rate. That may be possible if bitcoin will be able to surpass more than 100k. I meant the pump of litecoin actually depends on the how big the price of bitcoin.

If bitcoin will be reaching more price and litecoin may able to do the same like bitcoin and other wise. Bitcoin down and litecoin too.
The fact that many new types of electronics appear, I do not see it as a competition for LTC, the diversity of the market is inevitable as this market grows more and more. And given that LTC has its own uses and is close to BTC, I'm fairly neutral on historical news or future suggestions, but admitting that LTC with a $1000 target is not difficult. We all see the market size is still very small and the price movement is something that we can see very clearly, looking at the current price level and expecting that the market will reach good positions, then think of the many possible highs above $1000.

...Do you think it's possible Litecoin will reach $1k in the future?

Ultimately, the price of the coin will be comparable to the total capitalization of the crypto market. So with the total capitalization of the crypto market at $10 trillion, the LTC price of $1000 does not look like impossible. But in this case, another question arises - will the crypto market be able to reach a capitalization of $10 trillion?

I can't be completely sure, because anything can happen in cryptocurrency (even the impossible can happen), but if you look at the movement of Litecoin chart, then I think there is a possibility that the price of Litecoin could reach $1k in the future, especially if the total marketcap of cryptocurrency is increase very high and Litecoin is still in the top 20, so I'm sure if the price of Litecoin can reach $1k.

Litecoin is probably one of the oldest (if not the oldest) cryptocurrencies being traded on the market these days besides Bitcoin. It's also the second most scarce cryptocurrency on the planet (84 million LTC will ever exist). For a cryptocurrency that's often similar to Bitcoin, I'm surprised that it's still far behind $1k. After all, Litecoin has cheaper fees and faster transaction confirmation times than Bitcoin itself. Of course, there are other altcoins that are much cheaper and faster than Litecoin.

The ltc halving is coming and I see some movement starting to take place, at the moment the market is also very bullish so the price speculation with the current position of LTC will also happen. And honestly I personally think the next cycle this market will reach a very large cap, so I personally see ATH going over $1000. However, all speculations and investing in them also need to be carefully calculated, dyor.

You must not hesitate then if you believe that anything can happen in crypto but for me, I don't believe on that saying. There is no way that a shit coin can reach a really high price but even if the crypto is not a shitcoin, I still dont believe that they can reach an unrealistic price. 1k dollars in Litecoin is still realistic because its last ATH was 400 dollars. $1k isn't really far from that point. But we can not guarantee that most of the money is being put in Litecoin and not in any other cryptos but an increase in the overall marketcap can be a sign of a crypto bull run and Litecoin can still be influenced with it but If you want Litecoin to rise in a sure way, you better wish that its own market cap are the ones that will rise.

Litecoin has still not shown an improvement, it's still struggling to pump, and that some coins newer than litecoin have already increased their value so litecoin was left behind. I am optimistic about this coin but from what I'm seeing now, it looks like it will remain stagnant for some time.

The ATH was only almost $400 and yey it cannot break that, ETH had already rise x10 of its ATH.

Litecoin is struggling to pump simply because there's lack of demand on the market. People are mainly focused on smart contract platforms these days due to the "De-Fi" and NFT hype. It's all about money, so any cryptocurrency which makes big profits will surely gain the most attention in the mainstream world. I'm afraid Litecoin won't reach that far in price if it doesn't provide innovation to the crypto/Blockchain space. It might stale as other coins rise all the way to glory. Who knows for how long LTC will survive? $1k per coin may seem to be a distant reality, but not impossible. Only a massive bull market run could make LTC reach the designated milestone. What matters is usability. As long as Litecoin remains a useful cryptocurrency, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin

and we dont know if the ltc dev team is still active with their developments or if they still have plans in the pipeline. this is why it is hard for this old alt to make an increase in the market because we are not seeing any active movement from their end. so no reason to create noise. what can we expect if it seems they are stuck and others are rising because of their active and useful presence in the market?
so for me, 1k is still far from happening for this old alt and right now, there's no sign that they will reach new heights very soon.

No doubts about that. But I try to keep my expectations in a realistic realm. I don‘t think it will go much higher this year. I hope I am wrong.
And $1000 USD is a great number where you can cashout a small portion just to celebrate the new milestone, especially for people HODLing since 2017.

I am not sure but it can happen. Litecoin price now around $200 it's not a bad position. Maybe it will gradually increase more. But so far I have not seen any large pumps of litecoin any days
It could happen. Crypto is young, I believe that adoption on bitcoin could also affect altcoins' price gradually in a positive way, like this Litecoin. This coin is quite famous, just don't know it fully thoug. But it has a fast network and cheap  transaction fees, and as far as I know, Litecoin supports lots of projects and platfroms that are running on a blockchain network.
I personally expect it's price to rise more in the future.

Except the Only ETH most of the old coins are not doing well in this bull run. For example LTC, XRP, Dash, BCH etc. These project has a super hype during 2017-2018 bull market. But in this 2021 ETH only did it's better. I am not saying that LTC will not reach 1k$. Anytime this can happen , anything can happen in crypto too. So I think this will happen obviously but maybe will take more time. And once this will start by one of the old coin I think rest of all also start the journey of making new ATH.

right now people are interested in NFT and smart contracts, I think if Litecoin wants to continue to develop again it will be better, because I also know LTC is an old altcoin and it should be able to compete with ETH and others, I think it needs a change and development it's even crazier right now to compete, I'm still not sure it will hit $1k just because of the scarce supply, right now we need something new from Litecoin

it's not possible for litecoin to reach that value, but for now it's too far and as you can see litecoin can't even jump to make all time high values despite of the situation that mostly are on hype..such cardano, xrp wherein an old coin as well in the market.. Perhaps its not the right time for litecoin, but of course yes time will come in the future, indeed its still very promising so its not possible in my personal opinion.
i always follow developments about litecoin, what i see is the development of litecoin is very slow it even seems non-existent and it is almost similar to dogecoin.  as you said litecoin reaching $ 1k for now is impossible, but in the future, if there is definite development then litecoin will definitely be able to reach $ 1k.

I also know that Litecoin has almost the same technology and scarcity as bitcoin. I think it will be difficult for Litecoin to reach $1k. why ? because now people are more focused on new coins which also have technology and small fees when transacting. like Bsc,trx...
in 2017 , litecoin climb best position reaching rank 3rd in capitalization but the problem is did not maintain the momentum and drop hard in the following year.
and asking this to reach 1k ? quite impossible in our time now , because there are lots of coin having good offerings like this and with low fee and fast transactions .
so maybe it can but not now or the following year .

I think Litecoin can achieve it because Litecoin is a rare coin as you say after Bitcoin. If we equate Bitcoin with Litecoin, the difference is very much. Although I believe Litecoin will hit $1K in the future, it will happen when the market demand for the coin is high and it will have a big impact.

Fingers crossed Litecoin will reach $1k after the next Bitcoin halving. I'm very certain of this, especially when Litecoin is one of the scarcest cryptocurrencies in the world (after Bitcoin). People are pouring money into other crypto projects without taking into consideration the inflationary model of the underlying blockchain network. Consider how a hyper-inflated cryptocurrency like Dogecoin soared towards new ATHs like there's no tomorrow. It shows the level of immaturity in the industry. Only deflationary cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin will be retain their value in the long run because of their added scarcity. They're perfect as a store of value just like Gold and Silver.

Of course, there are many other altcoins with better features than Litecoin itself. But they're not as battle-tested and scarce as Litecoin is. Maybe someday people will understand that there's more to Litecoin than meets the eye. How long will it take to reach $1k is a mystery. In the strange and bizarre world of crypto, anything can happen. Prices don't matter as long as the coin is useful for day-to-day payments. Litecoin is still a useful cryptocurrency, so it's probable it'll last for a very long time. Just my opinion Smiley

Maybe we should lower the next target of Litecoin to $500 because the last ATH is about $410. If Litecoin can back to $410 or hit $500, the next target will be $750. But still, it is too far from the price now and Litecoin itself can not jump directly in a short time unless the price can have a big rally on the bullish trend. Litecoin can reach $1,000 but not this year. Maybe in the next year and we should have more patients waiting for that time. But we can buy as many Litecoin as we can if we really believe Litecoin can hit $1,000 in the future.

Doge/Ltc merge mine. = fact

new L7 miner is 19x the hash and only 4x the power used of an l3+

So either Doge/Ltc will moon soon due to the new gear or they will crater.

No one mentions that the scrypt algorithm is way back by asics and now with the L7 will increase its asic backing.

Also more than twenty five posts before anyone mentions Doge.

So second biggest asic pow algorithm. check
it rival in the algorithm merge mines with them. check
huge new gear coming. check

Yeah I think dollar doge and 1000 dollar ltc by jan 1.

There is still a chance for Litecoin to reach the price of 1000 USD in the future even though from 2014 until now the price of Litecoin has never reached the price of $1K. The price chart on coinmarketcap, Litecoin only reached its highest price twice, namely in 2018 and 2021 in May.

of course there is a possibility for the price of LTC to reach $1k, especially now that cryptocurrency is very popular and the market cap of cryptocurrency continues to increase, so that it will affect for the price of cryptocurrency to be able to increase very high including the price of LTC, therefore I am sure if there is an altseason that will happen in the near future, then of course the price of LTC has a great chance to create a new ATH price and reach $1k.

If we look at the current price of LTC which is at $177, the $1000 price target is far enough to reach. But the possibility of reaching the price of
$ 1000 is possible, if we know that LTC is one of the old projects that until now has a high enough demand. Moreover, the bullish trend this year is
still running if we see the crypto market is still moving up, then holding LTC is quite good to do. And the price of LTC is also down about 57%
compared to 4 months ago, this means now is a good opportunity to buy LTC. So my prediction could be that the price of $ 1000 is achieved,
but not this year.

If this asked me last year or two I would definitely say yes. Although over time people realized there are far better coins than litecoin in market. Speed is one big plus although there are other speedy coins. It doesn't make huge difference. Litecoin's one and maybe only big strength is its acceptance all around.
I think there's still a chance for Litecoin to reach $1k. It's still one of the known altcoins in the market and there's still people buying it. Being in top 15 makes it still one of the top altcoins in the market.
Maybe, we'll see Litecoin reaches $1k when bitcoin goes on high to $100k or more. That can be the reason for those high alt seasons to come and possibilities that we're saying.

The possibility of hitting the $1K price in the future lies with Litecoin as Litecoin's journey in the crypto market falls into the good and rare category. The highest price Litecoin has ever reached is $378. If Litecoin finds it difficult to break the $1K price, I think LTC will stay at $250.
I think Litecoin have a chance to break $1k but it will not be easy to lift the price to the high price because Litecoin price needs to break $500 and that is the first target price after the last ATH. Maybe Litecoin will break on that price in the next bull run, but it needs more time to reach $1k. Hopefully, this month and the next months will be better for Litecoin so the price can increase high and will break $1k.
The opportunity to break through $1K is still there with Litecoin as long as Litecoin continues to work as hard as other Altcoins in convincing investors and that takes a lot of time. But what is happening in the current market in terms of price, Litecoin is still inferior to Monero. Then the fact that is currently happening Litecoin will also be left far away by Polkadot in the market.

when the price of bitcoin reached $59000 the price of litecoin was at $400, with this we can see that if:

1 - if the price of bitcoin reaches $1000,000 the price of litecoin can reach $1000

2 - if we have a bull race and the price of litecoin can increase a lot in relation to bitcoin as it happened in the past then the price of litecon can reach $1000

Despite of how fast and cheap litecoin is, their developers has no further improvements on their network, unlike with other promising altcoins. There's a lot of altcoins who continuously growing even though it was left behind because of Bitcoin's popularity. Old traders divert back to btc after they've seen such pumps during recovery period.
Litecoin price still sustain very strong, but most importantly demand is really an important factor to consider before that $1 becomes reality.

That's certainly true, mate. Litecoin is lacking behind other projects in terms of development and innovation. It's a straight clone of Bitcoin with only a few minor tweaks. The Mimblewimble privacy upgrade will distance Litecoin from Bitcoin. But I think that's not enough to make it shine among the rest of other altcoins on the market. I don't want to be pessimistic, but I don't think Litecoin will reach new heights with how things have been going lately. Crypto behaves in many strange and bizarre ways so anything can happen in the future. If Dogecoin reached almost $1 because of the hype, then Litecoin can do better.

I believe that a price of $1k per coin would be a great opportunity for profit among those who bought it at a cheap price. At least, the coin is being actively traded on the market. As long as there's a community backing it every step of the way, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley

When the price rallied last time that is the day when Charlie Lee booked all of his holding in Litecoin and then went on to announce in social media about how he made a huge profit selling majority of the coins he was holding from the start Cheesy. When you have a creator who announces things like that and if anyone thinks that the price would rally to $1000 when even the creator does not believe will happen, how can we speculate about the price going to the moon in the next few years .
With halving of Litecoin, the mainstream of cryptocurrency, Litecoin as one of top and oldest altcoins, will have a future of FOMO from investors.

People did not believe Bitcoin will get price $64,000 and Ethereum has a new all time high more than $1,500. Finally, Ethereum has price more than $3,200 and if Ethereum can get price $10,000, Litecoin at $1,000 is possible.

I think it is a future if Bitcoin hits $100,000, Ethereum $10,000 and Litecoin can be one part of the FOMO wave in this 2021 bull run, $1,000 can be called for Litecoin.

Its really possible but they need to create new marketing like improving their network. Im actually holding some ltc coins since 2016 but i never seen any big improvements since then but im not going to lose hope since i can actually use ltc coins because its really hassle free
There are improvements in the network from what they started and all the upgrades are done in time but the problem is that Litecoin is not getting the hype like Bitcoin or Ethereum whenever they make the upgrades or whenever there is a halving event. I do use Litecoin now a days simply because Dogecoin became expensive and after a long time i started to like them to make frequent transactions because the fees are really low.

When it comes to the valuation, the market determines the valuation and i have no idea how long it can go, but if you were lucky enough to get the coin when the price was really low, it is not a bad bet to get to the valuation it is now Grin.

Litecoin is one of the old altcoins that still survives today, even though the growth of LTC is very slow I believe that LTC will reach $1k someday, because this altcoin has a lot of potential that has a large community, hopefully the development team of this project can improve so that it can compete with new altcoins that have very high technology such as binance and monero.

Indeed, their level of marketing does not seem to match the projects that existed at the same time, except for such a marketing issue, the latest tests or a roadmap update period remain unpublished, more precisely, litecoin is not knowing and not shaping what solutions it will provide to the market while other projects have shaped the future, I hate to say that litecoin is heavily imprinted on the silhouette of the past and no future. Long time without such reform, a new milestone just takes longer

But they're not as scarce as Litecoin is.

Do you think it's possible Litecoin will reach $1k in the future? If not, why? Are current prices sustainable? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Smiley

Observing the development of the crypto market, I bet on the growth of the Litecoin price precisely for 2021, since I believe that it will be 2021 that will be similar to 2017. My opinion is based on the theory of the cyclical nature of the crypto market, each cycle of which is four years. So in the first stage of growth, LTC could not show rapid growth, which means there is still hope for the second stage of growth, which should peak at the end of 2021. However, it is difficult to say whether the price of LTC will be able to reach $ 1000 per coin, perhaps the price will be able to get closer and sotvazyvat $ 800 for 1 LTC. But no matter how it was, there is not long to wait for the result, and soon we will all find out what price peak Litecoin will have.
I'm not so sure anymore with the much-talked-about analysis based on the 4-year crypto market cycle.
many people assume that the situation will be the same as in 2017. but I still believe the situation will remain different.
we don't go back to those days. we're in a new trend that is better, I'm sure of it.
LTC has been waiting for the moment to rise again. but not yet seen because now the focus of the market I think is split into popular assets and new assets.
market confidence in new assets has also increased. this is good for investment and there will be growth in the market. hopefully, LTC can follow suit.

if we look at the rarity he could have touched the $1000 mark but it will be difficult because of the lack of people holding this coin it takes some to make him rare

What are you saying? no improvement since 2016? obviously you are shiting here in this thread .Litecoin reached the ATH last May 10 2021 , so where is the Non Improving there? you are only shitposting here pretending to be a Holder but the truth is eacsh Bounties you earned are spent right away.

last may Litecoin recorded a price of more than 400$ and this is enough reason to sell if you really holds since 2016 but of course , that is just a story to tell .

Litecoin is one of the old altcoins that still survives today, indeed litecoin is growing very stable, but has huge potential in the future, if you look at its current movement, I believe that litecoin has a great opportunity to reach $ 1K,  but not anytime soon.
As long as I know Litecoin, I have never seen any wow surprises through Litecoin, although in general Litecoin is a good coin and not bad in potential, but if you play with Litecoin, then you have to have extra patience in waiting for the increase.

Cheap fees means nothing for now. There are bunch of smartcontract platforms that will let you to send amount with stabibility and cheap fees just like less than 1 cent for each transaction.
People were migrating from litecoin to the another coin that give them all more utility usage.

I don't think it's possible for litecoin to reach 1k in the future. The word of silve already gone. This is not a silver again.
Litecoin didn't have interesting thing to be used by the holders. These days people care about functionality and when a coin can't give it and then people will not FOMOing it.

This is the reason why it seems litecoin is being left behind. There are now new platforms that can offer cheap fees with other services. Whereas, ltc is still the same old alt. We are not seeing any updates to what they are up to. If we will not see updates or any developments in the future, I don't think this old alt will further increase its value. Reaching $1k is still very far from its current price. Before we see that price level, we need to see some updates from the ltc dev team. Are they still in continuous innovation on this network?

of course it can happen, just not in the near future, because in my opinion the journey for the price of Litecoin can reach $1k is still a long way, but it can be one of your choices to be made as an investment in the long term, because currently the price of Litecoin is still very cheap, so of course if the price of Litecoin reaches $1k, then you will get a lot of profit from investing in Litecoin at this time.

I almost forgot this coin because I almost never bought it...

Litecoin is one of the oldest alternative coins but the development is not that great. currently, the litecoin rating is down to 15 based on CMC, I'm not sure litecoin will ever touch $1000.

It's possible that Litecoin's price will reach $1k, but we'll have to wait 3 to 5 years. Since the current price will certainly change, even I think the crypto market will dump. I think the crypto market will last until the 5th month of 2022. Although our hope will continue as it is today.
What do you mean by that, what happens to the cryptocurrency market after May 2022, are you suggesting that we see a major correction. If that is the case i am expecting a major correction well before that.

There is never a no when it comes to the cryptocurrency market, it is possible that the price would reach $1k but for that to happen there must an hype in the market about any major changes in the network  Grin.

It only has to do 5x-6x.

That's possible. If bitcoin continues to skyrocket, it is going to affect most of the altcoins and Litecoin will also be affected by it.

But there's no timeframe for it, we can only say that there's the possibility but we don't know how much bitcoin should be and when.

it's not possible for litecoin to reach that value, but for now it's too far and as you can see litecoin can't even jump to make all time high values despite of the situation that mostly are on hype..such cardano, xrp wherein an old coin as well in the market.. Perhaps its not the right time for litecoin, but of course yes time will come in the future, indeed its still very promising so its not possible in my personal opinion.

And also cryptonians are now having second thought supporting litecoin after what had happened in the management years ago.
when time that Litecoin is on its peak ? when this was the ranked 3rd currency in the market?
after selling what happened , this coin almost died and abandoned , now like me who once known the coin and supporter?
having a issue trusting this again.

Every time all the cryptos go up, I adjust the % column and see which top 10 coin is doing best. It's almost always litecoin. My lead investment by far, I am amazed by the hatred for it. People love to hate on litecoin.
For me Litecoin is one of the best cryptocurrency i've ever buy and no one will change my mind. Dependable, cheap, low low fees, super fast.
