What I find interesting with Litecoin is that its founder, while still involved in the project, has gotten rid of his coins. So he's not in to get rich. Admittedly, he was already rich when he released LTC (let's say wealthy rather than rich).

How many altcoins can claim the same ? When their creators haven't just exit scammed, I mean.

Useful in a sense that if someone feels that bitcoin's network is congested, he'll convert to Litecoin and transfer it for any means that he need.

It's what I usually do. If I find bitcoin tx's are quite slower, I'll convert to Litecoin or any altcoin of my choice to have a quicker transaction and confirmation. Despite Litecoin's passive motion, still it's being treated as one of the good altcoins that you can choose.

I'm a bitcoin-enthusiast and against on every other crypto. The reason is simple, I believe they have no reason of existence. First things first, a cryptocurrency's main use should be as a medium of exchange or as a store of value. In my opinion, if people invest on a coin more than use its ability, they are totally abusing it.

Imagine that if you could read all those traders' minds, like when to sell, when to buy, when will we have dip, when will we have pump etc, your conclusion would be that the coin is truly useless and not a coin anymore.

Litecoin is an altcoin created for faster transactions. It has no difference with bitcoin, but this. Since we are trying to increase the speed of the transaction's confirmation with the lightning network, I don't know if litecoin should be useful anymore.
We have some coins with instant confirmation and also we have coins with zero transaction fee which means bitcoin is no more needed? That is what the same thing applies, litecoin is preferably used for smaller transactions incase if crypto becomes mainstream payment method.

Lightning network is faster to do off chain transactions, while litecoin does on chain transactions.

Litecoin is not a "faster" btc. It has some different proposals:

Lite coin uses other cryptographic algorithms. It does not use SHA-256, but Scrypt.
Scrypt algorithm cannot be effeciently mined using ASICS, so miners uses different hardware (more GPU/CPU).

Litecoin has a very small blocktime, 2.5 minutes while btc has 10 minutes. It also has much more coins in circulation.. it is  a different project. If it survived until now, I don't see why lightning would have such a high impact in it.

Well you can not simply impose your opinions or decisions on others especially on a decentralized crypto coin, it is amazing how you are questioning the existence of a top coin. I mean im a btc fan as well but that does not mean that there is no room for others. It is an open market and only the best ones will make to the top so have no worry let people create new projects and new coins lets support eachother.

I think I used many times phrases like "In my opinion", "I believe". I'm not impose anything to anyone.  I just characterised the entire crypto-trading system within a sentence. Again, in my opinion, you may disagree with it. Anyway, the question of the thread if litecoin loses its value in the near future.
