I think Trump is generally no concern either to Ukraine or to Russia. Therefore, the situation will try to freeze.Russia itself will weaken themselves by war and the low price of oil.
Trump can't ignore the Ukrainian crisis. Americans have invested billions of USD in Kiev, to install their puppet government. But we don't know much about his stance towards Ukraine. It will be clear in the coming days and months.

I don't think so. The American foreign policy on Ukraine will remain the same even after Trump assumes office. He may make some concessions in Syria, but he is likely to remain firm in his support for the neo-Nazi junta in Kiev. That said, Trump may recognize Russian sovereignty over Crimea. But it will be a tough bargain. He is likely to ask the Russians to end their support for Donbass militants, in exchange for the recognition of Russian rule in Crimea.
