If you are able to log in, you should be as to access them. The bitcoins won't expire. However I suggest you don't keep your bitcoins in exchange wallets. Keep them in a wallet that gives you access to your private keys.

I keep reading your suggestions guys. Im just curious , what are the exmaples of hardware wallets??
As a fellow bitcoiner, i also want to store my btc in safest place or wallet.
Im not really new with bitcoin, i guess i just still dont have enough knowledge about it.
I also have doubt on our local bitcoin wallet since they have a lot of issues and one more thing is the fee where its fee is expensive done the blockchain wallet.
Hardware wallets provide enhanced security to its users.By using it,we could be free from hacking.Mostly, users who decide to store their bitcoins in a long term basis use hardware wallets.Seed should be written in a paper and should be saved.Since the keys are in offline, there is no way for hackers to steal our bitcoins.Best hardware wallets are Ledger nano S and trezor.Additional feature is that both of them support even altcoins.

Definitely agree guys! Will store them offline as soon as my 2FA is removed.

I bought them when they weren't worth as much and lost my 2fa access, I've only just requested it to be removed. As soon as it is removed, I'll move them offline for the future.

Thanks again guys.

Well, in my own opinion. I can't say very much because it's about the level of security of your wallet. I think it's better to leave your coins in hard wallets if you wanted to store them for a long time. While in online wallets, there are instances that they are having technicalities wherein there is nothing you can't do until they fix their networks. In short, you are not really holding your coins. So in advise, choose a safe wallet. It will be for your own investment safety.

The account don't expire unless you make a request to delete it. It's worth mentioning that storing your bitcoins in exchange is not recommended, better put them in a hardware wallet since the amount is big.

I don't believe localbitcoins accounts will expire. Mine is 3-4 years old, I seldom visit it for I have a more convenient wallet based on my country. Incase you can't log in, you have to contact their support team. They will assist you logging in to your account.

Hi all - just wondering if anyone has had this before...

I left 2/3BTC in localbtc around 2/3 years ago, I've just now requested for my 2fa to be disabled. Will the coins still be there, or will they have expired now?
