For artists, NFT can help them expand their artistic exposure to cover local and international markets.  It can also provide an opportunity for artists to earn royalties on NFT works even if they have changed hands to other collectors.

While on the collector's side, the sense of ownership and authenticity of NFT's work from a favorite artist is the main attraction to owning an NFT, plus some NFTs allow the owner to exchange it into physical form or make it a long-term investment.

Many people want to buy NFT because it allows them to support the arts and have something cool from their favorite musicians, brands and celebrities.  NFT also gives artists the opportunity to program in perpetual royalties if someone buys their work.
The idea of NFT is worth to explore, though as of now, there is still a lot of room for improvements.

The things that it gives direct royalties to the artist are of course useful for them. But on other hand, the copyright issue is still a crucial thing to solve. We have seen that some artists got their art stolen and sold on the NFT marketplace.

Galleries see this as a way to reach new buyers interested in art, what do you think?
Arts can exist in many forms, surely galleries can get a benefit from an NFT. But in a broader subject, there is so much possibility that NFT could be maximised. but that can happen only if such crucial things I've mentioned are solved.

Actually the fun part for the artist are the royalties being received for their works. Yes art is likely a bloom haven on nft society and those who are good with it are given a perfect opportunity to showcase their talents and much more earn in spite of their talents being wasted few years back. The only thing that isnt good is the capitulation of some whose interest are only take advantage of the nft blooming. Richer got richer, and poor still remains.

Scammers and hackers are taking advantage of the hype and doing much more rugs which only becomes the downside of nft.

I didn't even think this as the future of art and collectibles. Do you know what mean of NFT is? I would like to call this as a way for them to earn more royalty from the crypto. Basically NFT were just a way for the tokenization purpose. From this we know that if NFT has no relation with the development of art and collectibles. NFT were only making you were able to selling your art in the online store even when others are trading your creation and you will be getting the royalty for that. This is pretty similar like how copyright was working before.
That's why tokenized asset like NFT is just a way for you to make money instead of boosting the development of art and collectibles.

ART and Collectables that aren't physically original, nice try, if there will ever be a very bad crypto crash in the future I suspect it will be from the effect of NFTs, almost everything can now be turned into NFT for money, NFTs have useless and fake items more than the whole shitcoins combine, be very careful around NFTs.

No you're wrong, most people buy NFT because they're looking to earn quick profit by buy low and sell high. They're don't care what does the art is and what's the utility by obtain the NFT, but they're looking popular artist, how much the art has been traded before and what does the trend currently right now.

Physical collectibles is better than digital collectibles, I don't see any differences between downloading the art for free and giving my money to get the same art.
indeed physical collections are better but what is happening now is that many people have started digital collections regardless of the reason they collect to earn a lot of profit or just appreciate the artwork of their idols or brands and so on

Yeah but so many times those big guys who have big name used their popularity to fool their fans. Sometime it can be seen as a support but it can also be seen as a business as well. Their supporters have become a way for them to make fast money from the market.

Agreed but it's not always work like that. The NFT that already sold to the buyers have no usecase other than become a collection for its fans.

We can say no and yes to this because it will depend on how the project became successful and if there are scammers ruined this good innovation for sure we will see this NFT hype subside and investors will lost their interest to buy some digital arts for collection or whatever purpose they want.

For now I don't see anything useful for having NFT in your wallet and this is grab by people because they think that this is quick rich scheme for them.

It's already happening and there go the artists that are seeing the potential of NFTs since they're for the royalties and appreciation of their works.

There's a use case for this but we don't know if there will be a better technology that will be introduced in the future. Maybe something better than NFTs and will totally maximize the potential and benefit for the artists and anyone who publishes or mints their works.
