You can also set up Bitcoind on a server and accept transactions yourself if your devs are excellent at security. If you use a 3rd party service, you may be adding another possible point of failure.

These are all nice ideas, but what I was really looking for is an api/software/etc to give to my developers for them to integrate into their code to view and acknowledge bitcoin payments :S

Well my suggestion is, Use blockchain api, they have all the tools. Visit http://blockchain.info/api.

So here is how make it work :

1) make an option for user how much they are willing to deposit
2) next, when they enter the deposit amount, they must get an screen to deposit the exact amount to newly generated address. Then when they deposited, the blockchain will detect the transaction, and they automatically get back to balance page with the deposited amount.
3) So, this works perfectly. So when they want to deposit like 10$ into the site. And when they enter 10$ amount. It must connect to blockchain, and then get back to site, if they deposit. So two pages. It all works with callback url, and transaction verification.
4) Give your develop blockchain api site, they will rest take care easily if they know php well.

Do exactly what twitchdoge said. Your devs can use the bitcoind api to watch for new transactions.

it as to be able to automattically make a new bitcoin address attach it to the user account and then check the transactions for incoming bitcoins that were sent to the each address

Hold all coins that are placed in the balance in 1 bitcoin wallet
Make thousands of address for each new user
Each user gets a new unique deposit address
They send coins to the that address address
since everyone has a different deposit address it should be able to give the balance to every user correctly depending on the address given
the bot will have to check every address given to each user and check the transaction history for which address it received it through

if there is something i should change or if you have any questions just ask ive been working on alot of programming and did some work with the owners of Just-dice.com

Alright, the concept seems promising. But, my problem is that I'm still not sure what to give my developers(api, etc) to make the game recognize the transactions automatically.

So I have a couple programmers that are experienced in php/javascript site development and game design. They said that they are able to design a front-end for a site similar to http://satoshirat.com very easily, but are sort of iffy on the bitcoin transaction side. I was wondering what the best method for going about integrating automatic payments for the users to deposited into their "account" and used in the front-end which, as stated before, should be no problem.

(possible path?: maybe a way to convert bitcoin payments into a sort of "currency/variable" to be used in the front-end? good/bad idea? :/)

[Posted this in another sub, but no response. Post your btc address with your post and if it helps me out, I'll send you some btc Smiley I've been struggling with this concept forever..]

EDIT: Looking for api/software to provide to the developers to make this process easier for them.
