it is strange, i have never even seen their name ever among the bitcoin mining pools before! now they come out of nowhere and give opinion about SegWit2x fork! it seems too fishy to me. i couldn't find anything about their hashrate either, although someone said they have about 1.7% of the total hashrate. don't know how reliable that is but you can not fork bitcoin with that much hashrate unless you manually do something about the difficulty like what bitcoin cash did (EDA).
even then with 1-2% hashrate you will create a very unreliable and easily attackable chain. even a tiny mining pool can 51% attack their chain...

they control the 30% of the hashrate of the bitcoin,
Bitpico is one of the largest cryptocurrency mining in the world
where is your proof?

Bitpico is one of the largest cryptocurrency mining in the world and they hold an average portion of Bitcoin mining share, thus, can have the freedom to choose what coin they're going to mine or which of Bitcoin or Segwit2x would have their support. Although Segwit2x fork is canceled they could become the reason to push it back and implement regardless of the resisting of Bitcoin core 2mb blocksize. Cryptocurrency is indeed can be manipulated. Horrible isn't it!?

Up until now, the said identity is still not traceable, the only threatening part is they said that they control the 30% of the hashrate of the bitcoin, technically they hold the almost 1/3 of it. That's a great deal if they are serious to what they are saying. Anyways, I'm sure there will be a fork that will be coming up soon, still not sure if the segwit2x will still happen tho after the statement of the so-called unknown identity.

Another strange news appeared. Some mining pool called BitPico stated that, contrary to the widespread statement that the awaited fork was quitted, they intend to finish the implementation and hold the fork.
I wonder what is this BitPico?
Will the fork happen?
